Mendip Conservatories Omdömen 

The project has turned out to be the best capital expenditure decision we have ever made. It has transformed our use of the property in a big way, so we now spend a considerable amount of time sitting and dining in the new Orangery space which means we also get to enjoy the splendid views over the countryside.
The build work was completed reasonably to time without too much inconvenience. All the guys that worked on it we could not fault. The kitchen roof was erected in extreme weather conditions and full credit to Pete for getting the roof weather tight before we got back from our holidays!
There were a few minor irritating issues that dragged on much longer than necessary, but I would have no hesitation in recommending Mendip Conservatories.

Very impressed with the service and workmanship we received from Mendip Conservatories. The plans were clear and well presented. The builders. electricans etc were all very efficient and courteous. Overall a job well done!

We needed a conservatory to increase our living space. Mendip Conservatories drew up a design which fitted in well with the architecture of our house and provided the features we required at an affordable price. The building work was carried out very professionally in less than 3 weeks with Mendip Conservatories managing the project throughout. All the materials used are of high standard and the workmen were helpful and courteous. We experience only one very small snag; after a few weeks one of the doors became difficult to lock but a fitter was sent to rectify the problem without quibble.

When considering buying a conservatory I got several quotes and decided on Mendip because they listened to what I wanted and made every effort to meet my wishes. The finished building was both beautiful and practical. It incorporated all the design features which were important to me. The price, while not the cheapest was competitive and fixed. There were no hidden surprises and the building work started and finished on schedule. The sub-contractors complied with the Mendip ethos and their work was of a high quality. When it came to buying another house I had no hesitation in contacting Mendip again and I have not been disappointed. I would not hesitate to recommend Mendip to others and was happy to have my conservatory featured on their web site.

It's been a long process and still not completely finished . Started in April finished in October problems with long lead in times and then parts not as ordered and damaged on arrival. Saga with getting the correct glass to fit the windows but all tradesmen involved have been first rate and the finished product is excellent.

Scheduling of events needs to be improved i.e. A written schedule of who was going to turn up to do what and when along with their telephone numbers and charges.
Forward planning. My Orangery needed Render pink colour in colour. This colour is special order only and takes up to 3 weeks to source. The Render was only ordered by the Plasterer when he arrived to Plaster the building. Considering I had to wait 2 months for planning permission the Render could have been sorted during this period and saved the delay.
Under Floor Heating. Not enough plastic insulation mats were supplied. The supplier when notified then delivered the outstanding mats to the wrong address.
The Front Door for my house was delivered some weeks after the rest of the Orangery parts. No date for arrival was offered other than we are expecting a delivery on Tuesday. When the door didn't materialise it was we are expecting a delivery Friday etc.
All in all, while the standard of workmanship of the various contractors has been top quality, the Program Management and communication was poor.
