Medical Express Clinic Omdömen 

Did my PCR test here this week at 9.15 on Wednesday 17th Feb and got my result in under 12 hours time. Fab service and for a 12 hour result basically half the price of the other test places. Cheers Medical express!

I had previously used Medical Express Clonic in October 2020 and had my results within 48 hours and was very happy with the service. So I booked and had a PCR COVID test with them on Thursday 17 December 2020 at 1.45 with a guarantee of results within 48 hours. My results were not received within 48 hours & I missed my flight. Despite 12 phone calls and 5 emails, I have not to this day received a refund or even an acknowledgement. DO NOT USE - highly unprofessional behaviour.

I did not receive my PCR 'Fit to Fly' test results within the 'guaranteed' 48 hour period - but 2.5 hours later than guaranteed. Late enough to completely disrupt my travel plans.
I have requested a refund and have been trying to get a response from Medical Express Clinic for a couple of weeks now [since this happened before Christmas] - without success.
For the hefty £199 fee I would have expected a more professional and reliable service.

PCR test delayed

Similar to other reviews below, my test results were sent a couple of hours after the 48-hour ‘guaranteed’ period, which was enough to disrupt my travels. I could not get hold of anybody at the clinic by phone or email while waiting for the results, nor afterwards to request a refund or explanation. I basically lost my money as the results were of no use due to the delay.

Done on Thursday 17th dec 2020 10am the test at this point today 11:43 am 19th dec 2020 I haven’t received my test results for PCR test to fly (48 hours has passed already ) I had booked today 19th dec flight to Antigua and at barthelemy is needed a test for 72 hours on the landing there and at this point no test results to my email no junk anywhere! I couldn’t make the flight ruined my trip! They don’t answer the phone during opening hours is a joke of service they provided guarantee on the website and is NOT AT all ! But for take the £199 yes they do quick in reception! I want my money back! This people is a joke as service no professional at all! People be warned ! The guy there taking names on checking the appointments guarantee I will get it next day night time at 40 hours! And none email came through at this time and point of this review taking place! I want my refund! Was the point to have the PCR TEST! If I won’t use it for the trip purpose! I’m so disappointed. UPDATE! They received my results same day at 16:50 on the 17th dec 2020 and I done it same day at 10 am ! And they decided to send it on Saturday 19 th December 2020 at 12:36 pm very late for me to fly and lost ticket and time going the airport ubers etc I’m so mad! And annoyed disappointed.... WRONG NAME WRITTEN unreadable. A JOKE OF SERVICE!

Tier 4 restrictions they were give by 4pm on Saturday 19 th December 2020 so don’t give me crap excuses! Shame on your service!
I can’t change or take flights on the convenience of your incompetente service provided to go where I was going I need a time frame for test results of 72 FRAME! You just giving excuses to US that’s all! Hire more staff to fulfil the demand for “fit to fly “ results ! That’s it! Money waste and time waste whom paid for this ? NOBODY. Money makers. They don’t care of providing the service is advertised! 2 hours delays etc don’t blame on the pandemic! Is not aceptable at all! Check your website advertising! Don’t offer what you CAN’T provide ! Thanks I’ll keep giving my reviews in all platforms. As possible ! You don’t care I don’t care either! Now! Your service is outrageous!

They sent my PCR test result way past the 48 hours they had guaranteed it for. Didn't answer their phone and after I emailed they said 48 hours should still be guaranteed. This meant, I did not go and do another test elsewhere. This caused major disruptions to my trip. Ridiculous their FAQ 'What happens if I don't get my results in time?' Answer: 'Don't worry, with Medical Express you can book in confidence. We will never book a patient in for their swab, knowing that they won't receive their results in time for a flight. Many of our patients have come to the clinic after being let down by other providers, our priority is to ensure that every patient we see at the clinic gets their results and certificates before travelling.
We will ask you when you book and confirm when you attend the clinic; when you are flying and when you need to receive your results. Based on this information, we will schedule your appointment based around our turnaround time, and your requirements. Patients booking their appointments online MUST check and make sure that their schedule fits with requirements, as obviously, we cannot check with each and every one of you.
For every patient that we have guaranteed results, they have successfully boarded their flight.' This was FALSE information and I now require full refund of my PCR test and Fit to Fly certificate. A shame as the nurse doing my test was great!

The process of booking and attending the appointment were both great. Good communication, quick turn around, helpful staff. I got an incomplete scan of the paperwork the next day.
However, I was told to expect a hard copy of the results in the post within 3 working days - these are vital for my visa application. 10 working days later, I haven't received anything. I have called the only available phone number over 10 times over the course of the past 5 days. I have also emailed. No response. Phone rings off the hook, no message on the website to suggest they're closed, no acknowledgement of my emails.
Part of the service, which also justifies the price, is quick results, professional service, and clear communication. None of these have been forthcoming since my appointment. Highly disappointing and, given that I still have no idea where my private medical information has got to, or if/when I will actually receive it, extremely concerning.

Booked an appointment to obtain a Fit to Fly Certificate for Covid-19. Managed to find a slot on the same day, excellent service, small waiting time/queue outside, but was warned beforehand, minimal waiting time once checked into the clinic, excellent customer service, polite and professional staff, would highly recommend. Results came within 9 hours - very impressive!

I was panicking for my upcoming flight. The service was excellent in all the way! You don't have to pay in advance, but at the clinic, the staff was helpful and very fast in the process, but most of all I had my result in 14h!!!! WHAT a DREAM after all the scam you can find online. Don't trust home testing of you need to fly in 48h!

I needed one the dreaded PCR tests. And, in spite of the next lockdown having just being announced, they still returned my result within 24 hours.

The person who conducted the test was also very friendly and reassuring.

Highly recommend the clinic. I had a flight next day and they got results in time. Perfect!

I booked an online appointment for an std test as I had symptoms. On their website they have the prices for different packages. I said I would like the silver package but if I can get anal swabs instead of urine sample. They said sure. When my turn came the doctor just asked me what happened and my symptoms. Then he did the anal swabs in total I was with him for 5 mins. My bill was charged with a consultation fee and extra for swabs. £300 more than the package I wanted. To make it worse I was tested positive for syphilis and had to pay £175 to get a penicillin injection. Also while I waited in the waiting area the nurse will come in and openly speak about my treatment in front of others which was embarrassing. Traumatic experience. They are a profit organisation with little care and professionalism is mediocre. Couldn’t help but feel deceived and cheated by this clinic.

Can’t trust them
I had a blood test in May this year, I was told when I gave them my BUPA approval code before the blood test that I had to send the invoice to BUPA myself.
Apparently this clinic is approved by a BUPA International and not by BUPA UK.
This was not explained either when booking the appointment or when presenting the BUPA information.
This can’t be right and I would be surprised if I am the first person this happens to. I emailed the clinic about this and I have had no response.
I can’t see it as anything but deception.
In addition the first time I came for the blood test there were no one there to take my bloods.
I do not trust them.

Practise Manager Steven Lingram charged my card for £4900 instead of £490, what a doggy clinic reported the guy to police

I had to get a candidate in for an urgent pre-employment medical and Naryna and her team got the candidate booked in for the next day and the results came about 4 days later. Very prompt, professional and friendly service. Very happy and will definitely recommend.

I have been seeing Dr Mohammad Bakhtiar for a which and have always been satisfied with the results. He is so helpful and supportive and I have complete trust in him.

I am very satisfied with the treatment process. My doctor was good and checked me with utmost care. All the staffs are so caring and helpful. I will visit Medical Express Clinic in Future.

Recently I had visited Medical Express Clinic for my gynaecology problem. The gynaecologist and nurses are excellent and they explain everything with confidence. Thanks....

Have used this place several times, always the same.

The people on reception are rude - they shout you down, have a dismissive attitude and try to bully information out of you that they have no justification asking for (for example you were referred there from another clinic, which has already paid for the tests).

When I asked them to stop interrupting me, they said they were too busy to listen as they had other people at reception to deal with. My answer that the problems of running their business were their problem not mine, was answered with 'it is busy on Mondays'.

So I said, get more staff on reception then, and got the 'short staffed' line.

The property is shabby and run down, not great when you are there for medical tests.

Once you are beyond reception, the phlebotomists are lovely and competent - hence 2 stars not 1.
