Awful service

Awful service from Friday till now they have been offline so no internet customer service lie to your face and tell you it’s been resolved or soon will be resolved for the situation to just remain the same absolutely awful company with no care or respect for the people they provide for
Would give it no stars if I could but needless to say stay clear of them

Took over 24hrs for an engineer to go fix a problem that probably had a simple solution I don't understand how a company that charges us so much is happy to leave us without the Internet for so long and on a weekend I miss BT wifinity back in Germany

This company shouldn't be able to rob…

This company shouldn't be able to rob us as easily as they can, the problem is they're the only provider without tying yourself into a contract that we can use. They're customer service is appalling, when it does work it's okay but it's not often it's working.

Update still not working 07/12 I had confirmation I would receive a phone call at 0900AM on 08/12 never received a phone call.

I've cancelled my direct debit so hopefully I don't have to constantly ask for a phone call.

How this company operates I am lost with words.

Don’t use media force!!

Literally the worst internet provider, WiFi always conveniently goes down and takes more than 24 hours to rectify, contact to customer service is awful as you have to wait hours to get through to somebody, and when you do all they say is they will log it and get back to you, and guess what? They never do…. Honestly if I were you don’t go with them, get you own WiFi from sky etc.

Wouldn't even give it a star

Wouldn't even give it a star. Waste of money always going down, for anyone on a barracks look at getting a mifi box it takes a simcard and can have 16 devices connected after Christmas leave I will be returning with one and be paying £15 for unlimited data. Some simcards offer gaming abilities well worth the money as they are portable I.e. you can take it on exercise and have Internet.

Lucky to not be bust

Over priced, goes down often. No one works at the company to recieve calls etc. information given usually results in an email saying, “internet is down, sorry.” Nothing else to say aside from this company would have gone busy long ago had it not been for the MOD contract. As no other providers are allowed it makes sense they rip people off and provide a substandard service

To be blunt!!

To be blunt, it’s sh**! Dont waste your money. Don’t understand how they are still a business with the way they are ? Wifi was down in which they got it fix a day later which if nobody had told them I bet you they wouldn’t have fix it, but the funny thing is that the following day it’s gone down again which great no internet for the weekend! So I advise to get your own wifi as it’s better at a better price.

Mediaforce is down again as of 0100. I tried ringing through and thought maybe they’d answer now.
No I’m pretty sure what they do is as soon as it starts ringing, they put the phone into the queue instead of answering.
I’ve never got through to them.

Very Poor

It's not that bad when the WiFi works, but it's never a surprise when it drops out. Often the service is down for days rather than hours. Even though it's a substandard service provided for the military community, we are still having to pay the sort of fee we pay to proper Internet providers.

There's no understanding of how important the WiFi is. I am supposed to have an online job interview this afternoon and the Internet has been down since 5pm last night. If there was an understanding of its importance, this wouldn't keep happening.

Absolute rubbish.

This is starting to become a re occurring issue now. The WiFi will be down and usually is not fixed for atleast a few days, and a majority of the time it falls over the weekend which is convenient as people are on barracks and in accommodation.

Tonight was a prime example after a long days work, coming back to a camp with no wifi. Thank the lord steam has a offline mode for minecraft and other games😂 ruined my monster Thursday.

Hopefully this will be resolved soon.

Absolutely useless

Absolutely useless. The wifi goes down at least twice a month at my camp, often for days at a time. When you call to get the problem fixed a recording will play saying they are aware of the problem and trying to fix it but no one will answer the phone. It is beyond me why the MOD decided to contract this company. Happy to rip off soldiers with high prices and deliver a terrible service.

Absolutely embarrassing as a company. I had better Internet connection in a third world country and I never had to pay for it either. Their contract should be terminated. Having to pay good money for a service they aren't providing in any capacity.

0 Stars. 23 days and counting without any service at all at Northwood headquarters. The odd email update every 10 days or so basically stating nobody in the company has any idea how they’re going to restore services in a time when wifi is a daily necessity due to poor 3G/4G coverage.

An ISP which just appears to not give a f*** about hundreds of military personnel

Absolute shambles.

Horrendous customer service, awful connection, you'll pay for the month but it only works for half of it, the worst part is most don't have a choice as it's the only option for them in military accommodation

The worst internet provider I have ever seen.

The worst internet provider I have ever seen in my life, every single month without fail the WiFi will drop out, so I decided to buy an Ethernet cable which worked for a few days. After a few days it also decided to stop working saying it did not recognise the IP address, it was plugged into the wall…

No Service to Servicepeople

It's a shame 1 Star is the lowest rating as that's giving them too much credit. Almost 2 weeks now (another Northwood pers) and I've not had a single email from them to apologise or explain the lack of service, let alone offer a refund.
I've phoned and emailed them to complain and request they add me to the distribution list for those getting updates; but instead they sent an email today saying:

"Thank you for contacting us, we are glad that we were able to resolve this issue for you."

All in all, utterly disgraceful. MOD should get a grip of the situation, as they are supporting a monopoly at a location which has no other viable alternatives and Internet is too important for our daily lives to go this long without.

Thieves

Awful. Was the only option at the base, due to severe that of phone signal from all providers. Then almost 2 weeks ago services just stopped. Occasionally got a 48 hour update now the company has gone silent and even turned off all the wifi hotspots. They are thieves and should be stopped. Absolute robbery. MOD needs to do something about them and get a new provider.

TERRIBLE

TERRIBLE - Wi-Fi never works, when it does it's poor, tehy treat the Armed Forces with absolute discontent, had no connection for over a week now, yet they still take £ from my bank via direct debit, using internet banking no doubt, not even ironic, just plain cheek, disgracefull and shamefull.

Absolutely terrible service

Absolutely terrible service. No.internet in Northwood for over a week and this lot do not even bother responding to calls or emails. The militray hierarchy should pull the plug on these 🤠. They are taking service personnel.of all ranks for a ride. DISMAL service is putting it mildly these lot are horrendous.
