residents who have lived in the area where this retailer was suppose to be in was a complete fabrication - the images attached to this were plagiarized from other locations 0f 0ther retailers - no such address existed and the phone number was not to this store in Seattle - it was a number in Montana - a complete scam

I purchased $600 worth of clothing and shoes from what was advertised as a “Seattle store moving to the East Coast” clearance sale. The shipment came from China! The items were of poor quality, sizing was inconsistent, and overall, not as advertised. The seller refused to accept returns or issue a refund. Be cautious if considering purchases from this store.

Matthew's Haberdashery sells JUNK!!! I ordered a $295 jacket that was on sale for $95.95 on Feb. 27, 2026. The jacket arrived this morning, March 13, 2026. It took half a month to arrive. When it arrived, it was the wrong size, not folded, stuffed into the bag, and was severely wrinkled, and it had no tags on it whatsoever, and was pure JUNK. I wrote them back and said, "This jacket isn't worth $20!!!

Save yourself a lot of frustration and do not do business with Matthew's Haberdashery. Their name should be Matthew's Haberjunkery. I had to give them one star to be able to type this message, but they are not worth even one star.

Impossible to return their product. Poor quality and sizes are horrible. Do not buy products from this place

I was taken aback upon receiving these products, given their cost; they should have been higher-end. Upon receiving the tracking information, I figured something was wrong due to the fact that it was shipping from another country.

These guys are thieves. I received a damaged bag with 2 pieces that looked noting like what I ordered the quality was cheap, materials cheap, and there is no way to get back to them. There was no invoice no way of contacting them. They never answered multiple emails.

It's a scam. Fortunately our credit card company refunded our money.

The FB posting indicated that the store was closing in Seattle and moving to NC. Well there is no store, in fact the package cleared customs so it was shipped from China. The clothes were totally inferior quality. DON’T BUY THIS MERCHANDISE EVER.

If zero stars were an option I would give this zero. Terrible product quality looks exactly like something from China and they don’t stand behind the quality of their products. Terrible customer service, no options to return the product. NEVER WASTE YOUR MONEY OR TIME WITH THIS SCAMMER.

Matthews Haberdashery is a FAKE Bait and Switch scam to sell garbage clothing from China. If you don't like it, good luck trying to get a refund. It's a shame that Facebook allows these scam merchants to sell their wares.

DO NOT BELIEVE the 5-Star ratings. Those are fake. Just like the other people have mentioned, this storefront is not in the US. It is a scam to sell nice looking clothing but you receive absolute garbage quality instead. Everything about this company and the website is untrue. No labels inside ( i could see where they removed one of them) so you won't know where it originated (which is against the law in the USA) and not instructions for care. Although the only instruction is to throw it in the trash where it belongs. I have made it a habit to check trustpilot BEFORE I order something online, especially if it was advertised on social media.

Final Update: Watch finally arrived today. The watch is actually nice but it should never take 3 months to receive something and the AI sounding customer service was useless. I mailed the watch to my son this afternoon. Merry Christmas Son! Sorry your gift was two months late. I will never order anything from this company again.

Everything I ordered over 260$ was crap. Pair of pants supposed to be jeans size 40 were in fact 34 my are of a fabric so coarse and ugly I would not have worn them even if they fit. Three cashmere sweaters to be extra large were at best medium. No label except one in Chinese coming out of a shoulder seam on the outside. Nothing could be used. All donated to Goodwill. All were in fact shipped from China not Seattle. This was a total SCAM. Do not fall for it like I did. You’ve been warned. If this is the shit this guy sold in jus store it is no wonder he’s going out of business.

This "vendor" is a chinese scam store-front. Their products are sweat-shop quality unlabeled missized, wrong materials and UN-RETURNABLE. DO NOT EVEN LOOK AT THE PHOTOS. Move on elsewhere.

This has all the makings of a fake organization/retailer. I ordered three pieces of c,lothing and am disappointed in the quality of all three. All made in China with no labels inside the product. I waited and waited for follow up to my order, and only after inquiries and threats, did I secure a response. Product finally arrived. It was shipped out of a New York address but is supposedly from Seattle. I will NEVER buy anything from them again.

This place is a scam. They say they're closing up shop. Then it took like 4 weeks to deliver. Shipped from China for sure. Clothes don't fit and they wouldn't let me return them to their store because then they'd have to ship them back to China. Supposed to have a brick & mortar in Seattle WA. Sounds like fiction to me. They only offered me 10% credit for my inconvenience. Website is a scam, sales are bogus, everything.

I wish I had looked at the reviews before ordering. I received cheaply made and extremely ill-fitting shirts. I reached out (they have NO phone #…first clue) to see about a return. I was told they would replace and-“/or refund. I chose to have them replace (larger size) and they immediately said that that was not possible and they didn’t want the shirts back. They said they couldn’t refund/replace items and they could send me 10% of price…or I could donate items(?). This company is a complete scam. DO NOT do business with them. I’m sure the higher reviews are family, employees, or just fake. You’ve been warned.

DO NOT BUY!!The item sent is not what they show or describe in their photos. They sent a subpar cheap jacket and junk trousers merchandise. The pants has a false pocket with a flap which stands straight out, just like an airplane fin (Photos can be provided.) The site is for men's clothing. The jacket was a woman's, as the zipper was on the wrong side and sizing not correct. Products are misrepresented and very poor materials and poor quality. The 30 day money back return is a joke! Quote from Ella, customer service 10% cash back and you can keep the product! "You can give it as a gift or donate to a local charity, a small gesture that could bring joy to someone else!" There is no return policy. They want you to spend $24.95 to return but will not give you your $ back. Do NOT Buy from this bait and switch company from China

This business is not based in Seattle and is not selling goods based in America. The quality is poor and they will not take returns. I reached out the day after I received my package to request a return. They have refused to give me my money back. The QR codes on the packages do not go to the actual products, they go to random pages in China for unrelated products. The are horrible to work with and clearly a scam.
