Absolute fraudsters !!!
I was contacted by this company, to be offered a new energy package, only to be told that actually it couldn’t go through,
Then I was promptly contacted by solicitors demanding they recoup the money THEY would have received????
Shocking!!!!!
I feel properly scammed by the very best.

I went to the MW website and created a watchlist and recieved stock price data, I then tried to read an article and found after a few lines of enticing info the pay wall came up in Every instance. I removed my account and am searching for a rustworthy free financials site.
Price jumped from $4 to $24
Price jumped from $4 to $24, didn't realize and forgot. They refused to refund a few months despite not actively using the account. Yes I know it's in the T&C's but only bad companies operate this way. I will never give them another dollar.
Marketwatch is NOT center right, far from it.
I'm giving 3 stars because I like to use the Watchlist functionality. No complaints there. I am tired of seeing anti-Trump articles being prioritized in Marketwatch's feed. What really bothers me is they are rated 'center-right' which is far from the truth. Just go to their main page every day for a few weeks and see which 'opinions' make the top of their list.
Stay Away
Stay Away – 6 Years and Over $4,000 Down the Drain
I was a loyal customer of First American Home Warranty for 6 years, paying about $65/month—more than $4,000 total—expecting peace of mind and coverage for major home systems. What I got instead was a complete nightmare.
They renewed my contract every year without giving me updated or clear information about what was covered. When my AC unit broke down, they offered me a ridiculous $95 cash-out option. The contractor they sent was unprofessional and did nothing other than say, “We’ll contact the home warranty.” Then I was told I’d need to pay $700 out of pocket to fix it.
Their customer service was dismissive and unhelpful. They claim to cover and replace, but the reality is you have to fight for every dollar and still end up paying out of pocket. It feels like their whole business model is built on draining people of money while delivering the bare minimum in return.
As an American citizen, I will continue to share this experience to warn others. I’m also filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. If I had saved the $65/month instead of paying it to them, I could have bought a new AC unit outright.
DO NOT trust this company. Do your homework and spend your money elsewhere.
False information
Right-leaning WSJ owns and decides what misinformation/disinformation is put out to the public. Info favors the racist MAGA's and brainwashing the ordinary Republicans.
Done!
Truly looking forward to finding another company other than MarketWatch for my daily stock updates. I’m done with their left-wing-liberal, negative and pessimistic commentary! Done!
What a joke of an outlet
What a joke of an outlet! Definitely spreading MIS INFORMATION!
And the reviews speak volumes!
Deceitful practices
First, I subscribed to the WSJ not MarketWatch. I cancelled the WSJ and MarketWatch keeps billing me.
Then I cancelled MarketWatch and they kept billing me. I cannot delete my credit card information from the website. Very deceitful. DO NOT SUBSCRIBE unless you wish to keep your subscription until you die

In October 2024 they said that AMD stock price will increase a lot.
A FEW HOURS AGO AMD CRASHED -10%.

I've been going on marketwatch.com website since the very beginning in the 90s. They used to be a legitimate website. Now every one of their stories are left leaning political nonsense, and many are without Truth at all. There they are now a sounding board for the Democratic party just like all of the others. It is a shame.
Beware: Your Personal Data is at Risk
Quick review based on company’s practice of obstructing access to those who utilize VPN for security and protection from trackers, identity thieves, and traders of personal data. Why block potential customers/clients who use a VPN? Is it because they have no interest in those whose identity/personal data is not available for theft/sale?
DO NOT subscribe here!
DO NOT subscribe here!! They are fast to take your money, BUT id you want to unsubscribe or cancel your subscription, IT IS A NIGHTMARE!
Never again!

Promoting scam sites
Promoting scam sites
After researching car warranties I found your article and it's just more lies about a scam company.
A simple yet effective scam
The website is a scam because, instead of giving you a quote you asked for, it asks you for your data then shows you "partner" websites where you have to repeatedly fill out all the info all over again, it doesn't show any quotes and only refers you to other websites, if this isn't a scam then I don't know what it!
The worst part is that it shares your e-mail and your number with all other websites, partners, etc. And, even after you u subscribe, you will still get an avalanche of spam, both digital and physical, plugging your regular and digital mailboxes with offers unrelated to car insurance.
It was a mistake for me to use their service but I would like to warn other potential victims: they are NOT GOING TO GIVE YOU A QUOTE! All they're doing is data-mining and also referring you to real insurance providers for possible commission, in case someone actually perseveres, fills out all the forms again and actually gets the insurance they're asking for. They offer absolutely no service of any kind except for unwanted spam of all possible types. Do not give them your info, they're almost impossible to eradicate once they got ahold of your information.
once subscribed, MarketWatch emails won't stop
Paid for a subscription to MarketWatch as part of a package with Wall Street Journal and Barron's. Subscribed to weekly news emails for all three.
Unsubscribed after quickly realizing that Barron’s and MarketWatch emails are useless to me. Barron’s stopped sending emails right away, MarketWatch didn’t.
I unsubscribed from MarketWatch five more times over the course of six months, and every time it said “you will be unsubscribed within several business days” but their emails still keep coming to this day.
Had to set up a filter so now those emails go straight to the spam folder and I don’t see them anymore. I will not be giving MarketWatch any more money.
