We thank the Maki-Car-Team for the wonderful service and the always fast and perfect communication. The rental of our car, change requests and the service were absolutely without problems and always to our fullest satisfaction. We recommend Maki-Car-Rental for all that want to rent a car without having to worry about anything.

Bedingt durch gecancelte Flüge musste ich Umbuchen, was auch problemlos ging. Bei den Vertragspartnern von Maki (auf Mahé war es Boscocars) liefen die Formalitäten recht einfach und schnell. Volle Empfehlung.

WIr hatten über Maki Car Rental einen Wagen vorab gebucht. Das Fahrzeug wurde uns zum Cruise Terminal geliefert und wir haben es später am Flughafen abgegeben. Der Suzuki Ertiga hatte gut 20.000 KM gelaufen und war in einem sehr guten Zustand. Auch die Rückgabe am Flughafen verlief problemlos. Wir buchen gerne wieder bei Maki.

I wouldn’t rent from Maki Car Rental (Eden's Cars) again. When I collected the car, they wrote my full credit card details on a piece of paper, which is not secure or compliant with basic payment standards. They also charged a €1,000 deposit to my debit card, promising to return it two weeks later - which is very unusual. Most companies simply place a temporary hold on a credit card for a few days.

The staff member was also rude and impatient, rushing me through the car inspection, interrupting my questions, and even saying “you’re not listening” when I was making normal enquiries. When I returned the car, he was reluctant to do the paperwork confirming it was returned in good condition, only doing so after I insisted - again in a dismissive, rushed way.

It’s clear they’re short-staffed, but that’s no excuse for taking it out on customers or handling payment details so carelessly. Overall a stressful, unprofessional experience that left me uneasy and disappointed.

I rented a car from Gail Car Rentals via Maki Cars on Mahe. The experience was fantastic. We got exactly the booked type in fine condition with just 25.000 km. The delivery to the hotel on the west coast by a very friendly employee was free and on time. For the return on the airport 4 days later he already expected us.

Wir hatten ein Fahrzeug auf den Seychellen über Maki Car Rental gebucht und ein Fahrzeug von Eden Cars bekommen, was prinzipiell nicht schlimm ist.
Das Fahrzeug war zwar in die Jahre gekommen aber technisch absolut in Ordnung. Nur der Tank war fast leer und wir mussten erstmal tanken. Zusätzlich mussten wir trotz des leeren Tanks noch ein "Pfand" in Höhe von 550 Rupien (ca. 32 Euro) bar hinterlegen. Den Betrag sollten wir bei Abgabe wieder ausgezahlt bekommen, wenn wir das Fahrzeug mit mindestens der gleichen Tankfüllung abliefern und kein Schaden hinzugekommen ist. Den Betrag haben wir aber nicht erstattet bekommen, da sich der Vertreter schnell "verdrückt" hat, nachdem er das Fahrzeug überprüft und für gut befunden hat. Aufgrund eines Anschlusstermins (Fähre) konnten wir leider auch nicht "ewig" warten. So etwas hatten wir schon befürchtet, da wir nur eine handschriftliche Quittung erhalten haben.

Nachtrag: Maki Car Rental hat sich zeitnah auf meine Bewertung hin gemeldet und bat um Informationen, um den Vorfall aufzuklären und derartige Vorfälle künftig zu vermeiden. Ferner hat das Unternehmen die Zusatzgebühr erstattet.

Had a very bad experience, first they confirmed the booking on vehicle jazz and then they were giving me every other vehicle except jazz , finally lead to very a bad argument with the car vendor, be cautious with them

The website was easy to use. The car was delivered to our hotel and picked up there which was great. The price was the best we could find. Yes, it is subcontracted out but for us there was no problem. Ours was with holiday car hire who were brilliant! Dreezee looked around the car at the start with us and pointed out every defect. He was very friendly and helpful. The pick up was no problem. We’re really pleased we hired a car to get to see more of Mauritius. Highly recommend.

Wir hatten 3 Tage einen kleinen, neuen Suzuki, auf Praslin (Seychellen) von Deutschland aus gebucht. Es war alles tipptopp 😊Sehr gut organisiert, eine unglaublich nette Mitarbeiterin hat uns den Wagen übergeben und 3 Tage später auf die Minute genau zur verabredeten Zeit wieder abgenommen. Also sehr gern wieder bei Maki Cars 😄

Wir haben auf den Seychellen zwei mal Maki gebucht. Sowohl auf Pralin als auch auf Mahé war der Ablauf so unkompliziert, wie ich es selten erlebt habe. Die Jungs hier sind einfach sooo gechillt. Urlaubsfeeling schon bei gleich bei der Mietwagen Übernahme.

We rented a car for two days in Mauritius in May. The process went smoothly; the car was delivered to the hotel and returned there as well. The car was relatively new, with low mileage, and in very good condition.

Wir hatten zum 2 x einen Mietwagen von Maki (Mauritius u. Seychellen). Anlieferung und Abholung zum Hotel Top.
Auf den Seychellen habe ich leider den gewünschten Suzuki Swift nicht bekommen, sondern einen Hyundai i10 der schon etwas ramponiert war ! Technisch war alles ok. Leider waren die seitlichen Fensterscheiben mit einer Reinigungsflüssigkeit versehen die man nicht entfernen konnte !!!
Sehr unkomplizierte Abwicklung kann Maki Car gerne empfehlen

We rented a car in Mahé with Maki. There is nothing we could complain about! Very friendly, helpful people, well maintained cars, fair prices with the option of a reduced CDW waiver for little extra money. Higly recommendable!

For our first trip to Mauritius we (European couple) were looking for a reliable car rent company. Maki cars was recommended in several private internet reports and together with its local partners it totally fulfilled our needs for both a transfer service and the car rental (including punctual delivery to our first hotel).
We also were provided with good support information (telephone numbers, links).

Wir hatten uns für Makicar entschieden, weil der Preis, auch die Möglichkeiten, den Selbstbehalt zu variieren, besser war als bei anderen. Das Auto wurde 40 Minuten zu spät gebracht, ebenso zu spät wieder abgeholt. Das war ärgerlich. Insgesamtes Prozedere unkompliziert. Das Auto war schon ziemlich mitgenommen, hat uns aber nicht im Stich gelassen.

Excellent service de location de voiture. Ils nous amenés la voiture directement sur le parking de l’aéroport. Nous avons demandé à ramener la voiture 2h plus tard. Service téléphonique de qualité et demande accepté sans supplément. Cet agence était déjà très bien noté, et je comprends mieux pourquoi. Je recommande fortement

We rented a car through Maki Car Rental from March 2 to 6 in Seychelles. The car was ready for us to collect at the airport with a representative waiting for us. Similarly while returning the car there was a representative waiting to receive the car. There were no hidden charges, the representatives were pleasant and the car itself did not have any problem during the time that we used it. Would definitely recommend using Maki Car Rental for a rental car in Seychelles.

Kurzfristig online abends auf Mauritius gebucht, nächsten Mittag schon Zustellung durch freundliche Mitarbeiter. Abholtermin unkompliziert online verlängert. Wieder sehr freundliches Team bei der Abholung. es wurde auch ein höherwertiges Auto geliefert als bestellt. Insgesamt perfektes Service, nettes Team bei den Buchungen und vort, gerne wieder
