Yes you do get some trial songs but not videos, this is how they get you. While the standard pricing page lists features like the "AI Music Video Generator" as included in all paid tiers, the specific credit consumption for this feature appears to be a separate, high-cost item not fully detailed in the public plan descriptions.

So beware if you a video creator you only get 150 credits a month yet the videos are 900 credits to produce each music approx 5 minutes, yes you read that right, they wait till you sign up then you find out the hard way. Good for songs but avoid if your doing video work. In other words your forced to pay it for extra credits to finish your video or you have just wasted a month subscription cost.

Nothing seems to work continuously. Example: Several artist voices voices I've saved and used constantly in the last 5 months.. now suddenly say, "ILLEGAL" can't use these!"

I am extremely disappointed with my experience with Makesong. I have been trying for a considerable period to access my own original songs, which I submitted to their service. Makesong has explicitly acknowledged that my songs are in their database, yet they continue to withhold them without providing any clear explanation or resolution.
I have followed every instruction given, provided all necessary information, and attempted to resolve this directly with their support team. Despite this, I still do not have access to my own material, and communication from the company has been slow and unhelpful.
As a creator, having my work withheld in this way is unacceptable. I am posting this review in the hope that Makesong will finally address the issue properly and release the songs they have confirmed they hold.
At present, I cannot recommend this service to other musicians or creators.

I paid for ”one time credits” and it says on my page that I have a free account. Yet they have been charging me monthly. I tried to find a way to cancel my subscription but since I don’t have one - I couldn’t. I’ve emailed the company and tried whats app as well. They don’t reply. If they keep charging me my bank has said I must close my debit card and get a new one. Stay away from this website! Also, you can’t close your account without contacting them - and how am I supposed to do that when they don’t even reply?

Makesong.com (AI song generator) is unreliable and operated with poor customer service. The website frequently lags, songs are lost, and downloads fail. Customer support is often unavailable, and when contacted via WhatsApp, the agent was extremely rude and admitted to deleting all of my songs and credits without warning.
I paid for a one-month subscription on February 10, 2026, with PayPal. On February 18, 2026, the company cancelled my subscription, cleared my remaining 183 credits, and told me to request a refund. They promised an “instant full refund” via PayPal and email, but no refund has been issued despite my follow-up.
The company lists a UK phone number but is registered in Hong Kong under YONGAI TECHNOLOGY CO., LIMITED, raising serious questions about transparency.
All of this is documented with screenshots and correspondence. Not recommended: expect technical issues, lost songs, and unprofessional treatment.
Case is closed in my favor. I am issued a full refund. During the case the seller did not provide any information.

The terms of service changed after I had already paid for a monthly subscription. The specific change directly affects the reason I subscribed in the first place. Initially, I was able to download commercial licenses for the songs I create, which was a key feature for me. I was able to download one commercial license at the start of my subscription but now I am unable to download any more unless I switch to a yearly plan. When I confronted them through email they outright lied to me and said I was mistaken, yet I had one of their licenses already on file. The second issue with these people are what they expect you to pay for a video. They give you 150credits on a 1 month plan, but if you want to make a video you need 900 credits so then they offer you an a la carte for more credits at a ridiculous rate. STAY AWAY from this website and try someone else.

You are constantly losing credits from glitches that are not your fault and that you can't get back plus you are getting songs that contain copyrighted material and are unusable. Customer service is non responsive and the company just block access to licenses already paid for unless you get a year's subscription.

Leider hat das Makesong-Team einen weiteren Kunden verloren – was ich bis heute nicht nachvollziehen kann. Der Anbieter wirbt mit einem Premium-Zugang, der angeblich unbegrenzte Credits bieten soll, für 39,99 Dollar pro Monat, zahlbar im Voraus für 12 Monate – also rund 480 Dollar.

Die Enttäuschung folgte schnell: Statt unbegrenzter Nutzung erhält man lediglich 4.000 Credits. Für mich ist das eine klare Täuschung – es wird etwas versprochen, das nicht eingehalten wird. Und obwohl der Support mir schriftlich bestätigt hat, dass es nur 4.000 Credits gibt, wird weiterhin mit „unlimited Credits“ geworben.
