Euonymus 'Susan' Omdömen

Euonymus 'Susan' is a compact evergreen that gives you colourful foliage for most of the year, making it a handy “background” plant that never looks tired. It works well in a mixed border, as a low edging shrub, or even as a tidy mound to break up planting in a smaller space. Euonymus 'Susan' forms a rounded, compact shape and is useful as an ornamental evergreen shrub or even as ground cover in a wider planting. Because it stays neat, it pairs well with looser plants—think airy grasses, salvias, or flowering perennials that can spill around it. It’s also a good choice if you want reliable structure without constant clipping. Grow it in sun or semi shade in chalky, clay, loamy or sandy soil, and it’s happy across acidic, neutral or alkaline conditions. Very hardy and adaptable, it copes in exposed gardens as well as more sheltered spots. Maintenance is simple: just give it a light trim to tidy the outline if needed, and it will keep its shape naturally.
