Mackie's Crisps Omdömen 

Terrible woolly crisps taste like cardboard. No flavour and dehydrated potatoes. Like reconstituted and not real crisps.
What’s wrong with thinly slicing a potato and deep frying it? That’s a real crisp.

Awfully dry with very little flavour, was very disappointed in them. Was hoping it was a bad pack but we had two large bags that were different flavours and they were the same, we ended throwing them away.
Unless taste and texture improve it is unlikley we will purchase again.

Bought Mackies mature cheddar & onion in Asda - very disappointed - dry and tasteless - only very slight flavour which I couldn't tell what it was supposed to be.
I shall be going back to Asda own crisps which are cheaper with a good taste.
Mackies may be a 'drier' crisp, but what's the point as the fat content is the same?

Sea salt flavour.
No flavour or salt for that matter. Even after adding more sea salt I found these crisps bland and they looked to be ironed flat. I prefer curled up crisps.
I ate a few and then threw the majority in the bin and have avoided them ever since

Maggie's crisps have the potential to be perfect!
Great value for money, great texture, a full the to the brim pack (which is rare these day)
It's just the lack of flavour! I seasoned mine with salt and pepper as they are way too bland!

Like the texture of the crisps(a bit like the much loved but discontinued Brannigans)but the flavouring is almost non existent. In fact apart from the tangy tomato,if you had a taste test without knowing what the flavour was,you would have to take a wild guess to what they were. The worst must be the cheese &onion,can't taste any cheese and can't taste any onion.Its a pity really,because the crisps are quite chunky,but lack of flavouring is a real let down.

We love Mackie's crisps! They are not greasy like others we have tried. They are tasty. We have just had some Tyrrells crisps they are awful. Need to find a supplier for Mackie's, Aldi had them over Christmas.

These are by far the worst crisps you can buy. I hate that my local COOP has very little choice but always stocks this garbage. They taste like someone took some old pringles and baked them and then deep fried them and dried them out. Absolutely awful.

I had to look at the packet to see what flavour they were supposed to be. It said they were Crispy Bacon. Nope, no bacon flavour discernible. Very disappointed. Sorry Lidl, another product that shouldn’t have made it past the taste-testers.

Very disappointing as these come across as premium crisps but are on no level with tyrells or real crisps. Go back to the drawing board Mackie’s these are shocking!!!!!!

To all you one star reviews, I don't know what to say other than compare a pack of walkers crumbs where you get about three crisps broken into crumbs!
Mackie's bags are full of crisps and I mean full and not broken into crumbs!
As for flavour, they're great.

Really poor crisps. Texture is completely off & unlike all other brand of crisps. Beware, Finlays crisps from Aldi are just rebadged Mackie's. You can tell straight away.

Very synthetic flavour, particularly the salt and vinegar which tastes like licking a 9volt battery.

Texture is also very odd. Won't buy again.

Just OK. A bit salty and dry/chewy. Odd texture. Don't think I'll buy anymore.

Tried on the off chance. Really nice string flavour and great texture. Crispy but not oily. I had the Haggis and Black Pepper. Perfect with a beer.

Bought the festive pigs in blanket one. Horrible, tastes life pringles and wonder how they could make something so bad and artificial; not even sure they are made from potato.
