Macclesfield Tutorial College Omdömen 

We have been using Macclesfield Tutorial College's service for the last 4 years and they are fantastic. My daughter Siena was a private candidate for her IGCSE and A-Levels and she took all her exams at MTC.

Our experiences with the Macclesfield team were beyond exceptional. They are professional, have a vast knowledge of the UK education institution/exam boards and they are always incredibly helpful.

We very highly recommend MTC and we would like to say a very big thank you to the entire MTC team, from Melike and Siena.

My daughter is studying for her GCSE Mocks and asked for a Maths Tutor to help her with her more difficult areas. Richard has been brilliant - very clear in explaining the various areas to her and making sure she understands and can do them herself. He also built her confidence by explaining she really did know her stuff which was nice :). Since starting with him, she has received excellent feedback on 3 occasions from her Maths Teacher which is a great recommendation for Richard and the College in itself. Very easy to set up an account with them and very responsive - much appreciated :)

My 15 year old daughter took her GCSE Latin exams here. Staff and environment were so welcoming and nice. She's looking forward to taking the rest of her GCSEs here next year.

All the staff have been fantastic , so friendly & supportive, ensuring that access arrangements and all correspondence & exam bookings as a private candidate were completed smoothly. Excellent communication via phone & email & really welcoming when visiting and using the centre. Would highly recommend. Thank you to all the staff.

I used Macclesfield college when I decided to resit my A-levels. I struggled to find somewhere that would accept me as a private candidate - MCT were very organised and easy to contact/quick to respond to any queries, I would highly recommend & will be using them again.

We have used Macclesfield Tutorial College a number of times over the years for 1-on-1 tutoring for our children when we have felt it was warranted.

They provide excellent facilities for use outside of school hours and help children fill in the blanks that are sometimes missed in school classes of 30.

Our son has taken two exams at Macclesfield Tutorial College and our experience has been highly positive. The team are all absolutely lovely to deal with, extremely helpful and supportive, as well as thoroughly knowledgeable and professional. They put students at ease when sitting exams, and the small, more compact setting is a great help for those who are more anxious. They gave us a lot of invaluable advice which enabled our son to prepare for the exams and made the process so much easier. Having chosen to home school, we were astonished at the lack of support from the local authority when it came to applying for GCSEs. Without the help provided by Macclesfield tutorial college, I don't know what we would have done. They supported us every step of the way and I will be eternally grateful.

When we attempted to find an Exam Centre willing to host our Home-Educated daughter for her GCSEs, we really struggled. Her exam Access Arrangements, relating to health issues and SEN, were too onerous for our local schools and colleges to help and after many months of trying it began to look like she would be unable to sit her exams. Thankfully, we were fortunate enough to receive a recommendation for Macclesfield Tutorial College, who have a long history of supporting young people with Additional Needs. From the moment of our first approach, the support we received was outstanding. The staff at MTC are knowledgeable, friendly and extremely dedicated. They helped us to navigate the complexities associated with finalising her Access Arrangements, and in the end were able to secure us the opportunity for our daughter to be Invigilated at home. They even arranged a home visit to advise on the most suitable set-up for the exams, and to ensure that our daughter met at least one of her Invigilators ahead of the ‘real thing’ - an absolute gift given her significant anxiety ahead of the exams themselves. My husband and I cannot thank the staff of MTC enough for the part they played in our daughter’s success. We recommend their services without hesitation.
