Good company. Perfume arrived fast and good price also

The perfume did not smell right, and had a bleach like smell, not at all like the beautiful smelling perfume I had bought previously from Fortnum and Mason's in London. The packaging was worn and even bent on one side. My first two credit card providers would not put the transaction through (I wonder why?), so I used my Santander card which did process it. The London Perfume Company wanted me to return the perfume, but were not definite about giving me an unconditional refund until I pressed them. Even then the refund would not be made until the company had received the perfume. By this time I no longer trusted the company, as a reputable one would have given the refund even without the return of the perfume. After all, what use would corrupted/aged/fake perfume be to them? In the past, when I have dealt with reputable companies when there has been an issue over quality, I have always received a refund without quibble. I reasoned that if I returned the perfume, not only might I not receive a refund (as the company would argue there was nothing wrong with the product) but I would have lost my evidence that the perfume is not of merchantable quality. I referred the dispute to Santander as Santander is jointly and severally liable for my loss under Section 75 of the Consumer Credit Act. After some weeks, and some pressure, the Santander Section 75 team confirmed that they considered there had been no breach of contract as I had not been willing to return the product to the London Perfume Company. I told the gentleman at the UK Executive Office of Santander that I was holding their company liable for my loss under Section 75, not the Seller and offered to let Santander test the quality of the product, but Santander did not take up my offer and stood erroneously by their assertion that not returning the product to the Seller meant that there had not been a breach of contract. The breach of contract derives from the fact that it is either of poor quality or fake and I can choose whether to sue the LPC or Santander and if I choose Santander (as I do) the fact that I did not return the item to the Seller is irrelevant. I have offered Santander the opportunity to test the perfume and that is all that is necessary. Santander inexplicably does not wish to at present. My other credit card providers, Nationwide and American Express would never have behaved in this shabby fashion just to avoid refunding a customer £119. Draw your own conclusions from this cautionary tale. Following a 7 day letter, I am now going to issue a Small Claim against Santander out of the County Court.

The item I ordered arrived, as described and well within the delivery time promised.

I bought Christian Dior Miss Dior Cherie after searching many on line stores. However, I received no order confirmation and no despatch notification despite the money being taken from account. When I contacted them (twice) they failed to respond. I even raised a claim through paypal and still did not receive a response. I did eventually receive Miss Dior (after spending 2 weeks thinking I had been ripped off), but this was not the earlier version of Miss Dior' CHERIE' pictured on their website. Would never recommend anyone using this company and can't believe positive comments are genuine!!!

I'm sure the 'very good' reviews on here are fake, half of them cant type in english but they claim they are from newcastle etc!
we bought 4 bottles of persume and they took payment through paypal, but we didnt even get an order confirmation, no reply to emails, nothing. Currently hoping toget money back from paypal.

As per oodles of other folks The London Perfume Shop does not answer emails and one cannot contact them on the phone
They certainly seem to behave as though they"re primarily a scam site.

Item was received fast and was exactly what I wanted! Would def buy from again!

I purchased Agent Provocateur Maitresse 100ml Eau De Parfum on the 17th December tried to call them today as other have said the phone number is unobtainable, emailed them but had no reply so went to my bank for advise, as soon as i emailed again mentioning a possible fraud claim i was retuned by No Chex, stating item out of stock, i am very frustrated they have had my money for 11 days and the product was not even in stock, i have informed the company by email that i intend reporting them as the distant seller regulations state the item has to be in stock if advertised as such plus the company have to provide a valid phone number, The product is still on the website in stock.

I have now had a reply stating the the shop has been ( CLOSED SINCE MY ORDER 17TH DEC ) and this is why
a problem has occurred, with all due respect i do not believe
this one bit i would avoid this company at all cost.

I live in Azerbaijan. Before the Christmas I ordered perfume from LONDONPERFUMESHOP onliene market because prices seems to be cheaper than in my country. For tracking my item I asked the customer service for tracking number and I got replays from customer service to all my emails. They gave me a tracking number for my order so I could track it. Although they were in a very busy period because of the Approaching Christmas, I received my order within the delivery time which I was informed by the LONDONPERFUMESHOP.
In short my opinion about this online market ( LONDONPERFUMESHOP) is positive and I would recommend it to others.

I am very satisfied London Perfume Shop. Good packaging, cheaper price, speed delivery. Customer service is also very helpful. I will order more in the future.

I ordered my perfume on 28th November 2012. I have received nothing and get no response from my emails despite writing daily and their phone number is not connected. My order has been marked as complete since 6th December but no goods received. No-chex, who I paid through, have been no help either. I would avoid this company at all costs. I trusted the online reviews but it has since been pointed out that these are probably written by the very people who have ripped me off. Avoid!!!

I am very satisfied with this online store. At first i have read some bad reviews about the website, and i was a little frightened when i made the order. But the service is good enough, i would recommend this company to anyone. Fast delivery, good communication original perfume. IT IS NOT SCAM.

Placed an order 5 days ago on a recorded delivery due Wednesday no delivery and despite 5 emails now, not one single response told them i needed it urgently for a birthday present, So I have reported them to paypal and my credit card company, WONT EVER USE THIS COMPANY AGAIN, AND I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND ANYONE DO, CUSTOMER SERVICE IS BEYOND A JOKE, NO RESPECT FOR THE CUSTOMER JUST TAKE YOUR MONEY. I ordered two perfumes from the shop. After 3-4 days my order was still showing as Processing. I emailed the company on Wednesday got a response on Thursday and got the items on Friday. So probably the people at this company need a wake-up call/nudge. Apart from this completely happy with my purchase. Would definitely recommend to buy from this company.

Finally i found an excellent online perfume shop .Great easy to use site. Excellent prices compared to many of the better known sites I have used, and believe me I have used lots.

This was the first time I used london perfume shop as an international customers. I was assured of progress at each stage by the tracking number and the goods were delivered within days as promised. Product exactly as described, cheapest price I could find. I will use them again.
