Customer service is completely nonexistent. The VDN message is misleading, as no one ever answers the phone. Even when you finally manage to get through, the staff are extremely rude and seem uninterested in helping, especially since the company has gone into administration.

I’ve been a loyal customer for a long time, but with service like this, it’s no surprise they’re closing down.

Shocking hostile aggressive manner of the new manager is certainly a good reason to avoid this branch of the brand…she appears to have upset other local shoppers and even driven one her staff to leave…I am certainly too intimidated to walk through that door again…and without a USP I have plenty of choice in Harrogate to shop…may be look at your choice or management and try again this one is driving people away in droves…

Not the high end experience expected from this shop at all. Visited on a Sunday morning and the 3 sales assistants made me feel like I was being publicly shamed! I had an online order of shoes which I wanted to return but also try other styles. The whole process took ages, as sizes couldn't be found and that caused a great debate. Finally I found a pair I liked, the shoes although fit looked like they had been tried on and were scuffed. I asked for another pair and this was questioned several times by the assistant. I calmly explained that they didn't look their best and would like another pair. At this point, the 3 assistants appeared to gang up on me and made me feel extremely uncomfortable. They again questioned why I didn't want the ones I tried on and again I said that they looked worn! I then asked to order another pair! The 3 assistants didn't appreciate my request and the atmosphere became frosty. Maybe they had forgotten their customer experience training? I felt so anxious as there was no eye contact made and there were certainly no smiley faces just a huffy puffy reaction. In the end I politely asked for a refund and left without any shoes. I said thank you and was ignored. I have never experienced such a poor high end retail experience as in your shop. I will never shop again at LK Bennett, Harrogate. The other delicate issue that I feel needs addressing, which made me feel extremely uncomfortable was the inappropriate low cut top worn by one of the assistants. Perhaps the manager would like to discuss my experience in greater detail?

The item was delivered promptly to an LK Bennett store as requested. There was some problem identifying it when I went to collect as it transpired that someone else’s delivery note for something else had been put in the parcel. Luckily, there was no need to return the item so no problem!

Great service and availability of products.

Easy use of website. Quick dispatch feee of charge to nearest shop. Good customer service in the shop too.

Helpful staff who listened to what I wanted and found several bags for me to choose from.

I have many LKBENNETT dresses and love them all.My only negative is that I have to have 5”taken off the length of the midis and the tea dresses become midi’s!!

I’m also very disappointed that Biscester Village has closed.
Harrogate is my nearest stand alone store so I usually buy online.This is a very efficient service

Lovely blouse but unfortunately had to return it as it was too small.

The service at the Harrogate store was superb. Warm and engaging whilst being efficient. I was impressed at the shoe stock availability for larger sizes, which is unusual and would make me return to that store.

The online site was very easy to negotiate and the item arrived in store for collection the very next day. The staff at the Harrogate store were extremely welcoming, friendly and efficient, making the whole purchase experience a very pleasant one.

All my clothes are LK Bennett,they are always so beautifully made.
The shoes and boots never ever disappoint .
The customer service is always excellent ,l have never had bad service in all the years of dealing with this store.Would highly recommend .

The lady in the Harrogate store was very helpful but told me you didn’t do a size 5 1/2 at LK Bennet.
I tried on several navy suede shoes and was ready to buy however after discovering you got a discount on line I decided to order there.
I felt embarrassed as the lady had spent some time with us. After asking a colleague that you definitely couldn’t get a discount in store ( whom was quite none commital in her response). We said we would try when we got home.
To that end I found several navy suede bag and shoes to match in the said 5 1/2.
I ordered these they came promptly and have now got what I was searching for.
Our daughters wedding is in Australia and I needed to get what was right for the occasion.
On taking one of the pair of shoes back there was no how did you get on? we’re they the right fit. So glad you found what you were looking for? Etc etc
Bearing in mind customers pay a lot of money in your store and are excited about making a purchase that would make them feel special the vibe was not a good one.
Maybe the discount should be given in store as it is online it would save a lot of embarrassing conversations by your store staff and the customer.
It would I know encourage word of mouth recommendations.
Not everyone in Harrogate have the luxury of spending hundreds of pounds.
I hope my feedback is of use for future times.
