This company is truly wonderful. I made a stupid mistake when ordering that was only discovered on delivery day. They cancelled it and refunded me the cost plus delivery cost and re-ordered it too. Pleasant to talk to on the phone and efficient.

The hay and food is always really fresh and smells lovely. Their delivery is always very quick. I ordered some treats, and two 1kg boxes of hay, which was a sample box and a box of Cotswold sweet soft cut, barley rings and banana slices at midday on 22/4 and it was delivered at just after 3pm yesterday 23/4/25.

I bought a 10kg box of Timothy and Meadow hay in August and because it's so big it takes months to use it. I store it indoors like I've done for years and on this occasion when I've come to use the hay, it was crawling with tiny hay mites, I contacted them to return the hay I can't use and they say I'm out of the 30 days, disappointing customer service! would have been a nice gesture to replace the half I've had to bin.

We've been buying from LHC for a few months as our piggies were getting older (needed softer hay). The silky soft hay is wonderfully aromatic and green and - although it does have pokey bits in it - much safer than the tougher Larkins hay we also use.

We were (negatively) surprised when a big box of hay arrived with no internal packing - literally just hay in a cardboard box so there's zero plastic - which meant it had burst in the DPD van and goodness only knows what had got in there. Lesson learned and we now buy the plastic-wrapped bales, despite the plastic being a less ecological choice on our part.

Since the silky soft is unavailable right now, we've also switched to Cotswold sweet, which is wonderfully soft and the guinea pigs love it.

Good prices, nice people, great communication when there's a shortage, helpful and knowledgeable when you have a question, a definite keeper!

Always get my hay from here would not go anywhere else. They delivery so quickly. Great quality.

Our timothy hay was lovely and fresh and Buns love the box to play in as well. Trialing some cotswold sweet as well, seems to be a winner with them too.

This is the second time I have ordered from this company. I needed some dust extracted hay for one of my guinea pigs as he has a respiratory problem and didn’t want to further complicate matters or make things worse so when I found out that the Little Hay Co sold this kind of hay, I didn’t hesitate and placed an order. Their favourite is Cotswold sweet but on ordering again, they were out of stock. As soon as this becomes available, I will be ordering this. Their different brands of Timothy and silky soft hay is good quality and I won’t compromise on this for the piggies. I find that they are very reasonably priced and delivery is very fast. I can’t complain here and it’s 5 ⭐️ all the way!

I have been using The Little Hay Company for a while now. I was recommended this company by my veterinary nurse as I have a very fussy bunny with dental issues and as such hay is especially important. I started with the mixed tasting box to see if she would eat any and she decided The cotswold sweet hay was for her. I now have this on subscription. Subscriptions are easy to manage and quite easily increase and decrease frequency as needed aswell as adding and changing items. On the rare occasion I have an issue with the online system, emails and calls are responded too quickly and painlessly.
The quality and customer service is second to none.

I love the Little Hay Company. As a senior citizen I prefer to talk to a person, rather than use online services. The staff at the Little Hay Company are so helpful and friendly.
