Be aware. A salesperson visited us last year and offered to put an ad on a GP appointment card. When asked he said we would be the only business of our kind on the card. It would only be for one year but if we wanted to carry on we could.
When we went to the GP surgery couple of months later to see the card we noticed our main competitor also had ad on the same card. I called Leisure Medical (didn't realise it was an expensive number to call 0845....) and told them I was not happy with the misrepresentation carried out by their sales person. I also told them I would never want to have to deal with them again, never. I though I had made myself pretty clear on that. Not at all. Now, over a year later they are demanding money for the second year. Why? The small print says I have to cancel the contract in a letter and provide a proof of postage. Well, the salesperson said it was a one year contract I was signing so why cancel after this one year?
And the letters keep coming and the amount goes up.
I've asked for a copy of the contract in writing. No reply.
I've offered a part payment to just get it over with (although I know I shouldn't pay a penny), in writing. No reply.
I've sent them an email. No response.
All the letters I receive where they are demanding money do not have any name on it so I have no idea who is sending those letters on their behalf. Very unprofessional but what else would you expect from this kind of business.
This company is a perfect example of 'how not to deal with your customers'. Total disgrace.
Today, after having received yet another letter demanding payment, my solicitor has advised me to report the company and its proprietor and secretary to the Trading Standard and Action Fraud.

I've been asked to edit my review of this company. I gather they are trading as sole traders so my concern about them returning no taxes as Leisure Medical ltd At 'companies house' is unfounded I see.

I’ve replied to them as follows:
“ I still insist that you miss-sold me advertising. I was told you were phoning from my drs surgery. Of course you weren’t and I have checked with them. I’ve also had a second sales call from your team trying to get me to sign up and your sales person said this the second time around also. Other reviewers have said you’ve done this too. The salesman didn’t outline the elements of the small print of the contract such as rolling contract and the amount I’d be paying and how often. Indeed, he told me something very different when he came to my house. Then I received no contact from you to confirm payment or take the advertising process any further until you sent me a second bill and I questioned it with you. I checked my spam mail for the email you said had been sent from the art department and there was no record of any contact. If you had followed what you’d promised and what I thought I was signing for I’d have been very happy to proceed. My situation is a story I’ve read over and again in the reviews for your company across several review platforms. You need to stop relying on businesses not having consumer law protection and do business more faithfully.”

Please avoid this company! As a small independent company we took out a 2 year contract advertising in our local surgery. We paid our last instalments and thought that was the end of the payments. 9 months later we received a bill for a 3rd year. I rang to complain and they were adamant I had to pay it as o had signed the contract. Apparently once the 2 years are up it goes in to a rolling contract. You are not advised of this at the time. Very misleading and unprofessional. They are now demanding a payment of £700 or they will take court action. We are seeking legal advice.

Paid a deposit about 18 months ago for a local surgery and then suddenly got a call from a company called resolute debt recovery demanding £1128. We have been to the surgery and our cards have never been used there. This is not the first time we have had an issue with a media company.
We offered to sort this out and continue if they installed the cards however Leisure Medical through the debt recovery company sent this to us today.
"Dear Shahzad Ali,
Unfortunately, our client is not willing to negotiate with yourself due to the breach in contract by your failure to pay the balance. We will be processing this case for legal action as the balance is outstanding and due per the legally binding contract.

This is nothing personal at all but unfortunately, this is contract law and I have a job to do and this balance is owed to my client."

We have not heard from Leisure Medical since we paid a deposit and it has taken 18 months and then this.

First time I'm advertising with leisure medical uk, I'm looking forward to seeing what business comes our way. Very happy with the ad.

Great service and quick response. Made alterations to the ad as requested.

The rep gave me a price and I paid a deposit. He asked me to sign the receipt for the deposit paid. I was too trusting and didn’t check till after I was told by them I had signed a contract. The price that was quoted to me by the rep was inclusive of VAT but different to the invoice sent. I was charged for art work which I was told was free.
Then the payment demands started. I asked to cancel as the money was nearly double the amount agreed as that was stated categorically in meeting that I could cancel if I wasn’t happy. That was declined and they kept on stating I’d signed a contract and it’s a rolling contact.
A letter came in October 2018 stating that the appointment cards have been sent out and are in circulation and I got sent one too but it had other beauty businesses on there too so not exclusively to me as was informed by the rep. So nothing was the same as categorically discussed and agreed by the rep. I have since been checking every month but nothing as of yet.
If I’d known this about the reviews I certainly wouldn’t have any thing to do with this company.
Now I’m getting letters that I’ll be referred to the debt collectors.
I have spoken to CAB business department as well. They have informed me of my rights. A verbal agreement is still valid.
I have since then been speaking to trading standards about this and they have stated in their words “that a company using misrepresentation tactics to sign companies into contracts are not going to want to highlight these tactics in a court of law”.

Great service , artwork looked great when we received it. Only thing would be confirmation the advert is now in situ

Fantastic Service, great communication, fast responses to emails and quick turn around on design changes!

Quick service, prompt production of proof artwork. Not yet had a copy of the finished product, but everything from the start to now has been great.

Very good service and lines of communication where design was concerned, was always open and no job too small. Would recommend.

I signed up in March 2019 for advertising on appointment cards t a surgery in Yeadon, Leeds. I have paid over £300 and the appointment cards are not being used in the surgery and staff on reception have advised they are using the only cards they have. I have emailed Leisure Medical to complain and apart from 1 email advising they will look into this, they have ignored my emails.
Disgusting service and very unhappy would NOT recommend

Not allowed to use certain words to describe this company but avoid unless you like giving money away.
Just as the last review said:

False information and promises given by sales rep, advertising not delivered, then send you every year bill for nothing. Total dishonourable company.

When trying to leave, they state are meant to give one years written notice by recorded delivery yet they do not continue advertising you business.

One of the most rubbish company in the UK as they give you total wrong information and then send you every year bill for nothing.

Im in my second year now and I'm very pleased with the results so far. Excellent service, very happy to recommend.
