Legal Services Guild Omdömen 

Based on our experience with Generational Wealth, another name they appear to be known as, do not even consider using Legal Services Guild. 18 months ago they prepared a Family Trust for us, foolishly I paid £3500 upfront. Despite repeated emails, phone calls, letters quoting my legal rights as a consumer, I still have no Family Trust in place and no reimbursement. The Estate Planning consultant who took us through this procedure is still highly visible on Linkedin, she should be hanging her head in shame.

We have called the company, leaving so many voicemails and emails, only for our emails to bounce back, and no one returning any of our left voicemails,
A lot of people at the top have resigned,
the company changed there name from Legal Service Guild to SF LEGACY PLANNING LTD
Please look on company house website,
Anyone got any ideas, as what can be done to get our money back, the question is,
do we have any active legitimate documentation stored ?

BEWARE and avoid at all costs. My parents have lost a lot of money to them. We have tried numerous times getting in contact and have had no response.

Another update which might give some hope to others. I received my father's will and other documents yesterday although they had only sent them 2nd class signed for (why on earth did we need to pay £27.50?) and their covering letter mentioned that it had been 'retrieved' in October.
Anyway fingers crossed for everyone else

The company clearly isn’t still up and running although companies house indicates it is. What a nightmare trying to get in touch! Their phone line and website should be taken down. However, I ended up paying for a search using the national will register and found the wills had been relocated to a company in western-super-mear which proves the company is no longer up and running. Highly recommend national will register to find anyone’s wills which this company originally had!

Turned up at Units 1 and 5 yesterday and the bailiffs were there, I am guessing we won't get any paperwork back now... shambles..

Scam Avoid at all costs charged £2000 to a vulnerable old man for 2 wills and then asked for more money for nothing!! He tried to contact them but no answer.

Avoid at all costs, the more I investigated this company the more concerned I became. I also paid £27.50 in August 2023 for the return of my original LPAs and will. I emailed the company ,phoned ,left messages they were simply not contactable, although there was frequent contact when they wanted money. They offered digital storage with a company Generational Wealth which they said they had chosen very carefully for a charge of £44 and £44 per year subsequently. Eventually on 15th December 2023 I went to the office in Millbank House Unit1/Unit5. I rang the bell eventually a man appeared from the back of the building and asked what I wanted, he explained he had a number for them and would get them to ring me. When asked how he was involved he said he worked nearby and had become friendly with them and thus had a contact number. He had been very economical with the truth , an internet search showed that he was actually a director of both LSG and Generational Wealth and other companies at the same address. I heard nothing so I returned on the 19th rang the bell, same scenario different man from accounts. However this time I was able to retrieve mine and my partners documents. These “Legal” Services need to be regulated keep well away.

My husband and I paid over £600 for a new will in 2020.
I recently tried to speak with LSG about it and have had no response whatsoever in three weeks of trying.
Numerous emails, voicemail and calls have been made and nothing in return.
Very disappointing customer care.
It doesn’t leave any faith in their services.
I just hope I have a legitimate will.

Following previous review, we went to the office. No one in unit 1 but they are in unit 5. After waiting since August for the return of our wills and POA. We had the documents handed to us within minutes. Definitely worth the 90 mile round trip to collect just for peace of mind but should not have had to do this.

Been trying to get hold of them since November 23 by email and phone but they never respond. Phone always goes to answer machine which states that they are currently busy which I doubt.Very unprofessional

Not worth any stars. Since my last review I have found that this dreadful company is still registered active @ Companys House but only names of directors but ominously no address contacts for them. I found they are not registered with the Law society or solicitors register. They maybe or maybe not? have a connection with a company in the same building called Redstone Wills possibly worth a try for information.

I have been trying to contact them since October 2023 (now January 2024) Phone calls, email written letters and absolutly no responses. Even an official complaint letter does not work.
One star is at least 2 too many.

It appears that LSG is now operating under the name ‘Generational Wealth’ still based at their Wilmslow address- the phone number is the same but of course it still does not reply to messages left.

Not answering my telephone messages. Reading other reviews this seems to be a theme from other experiences. My aunt and uncle need answers, they paid a lot of money for wills and LPAs. Shocking customer service

Been trying to get in touch for a week now without success. Left several messages by phone and via website. They have a family members Will and Lasting Power of Attorney after taking over £3000 off her for the service. Absolute Daylight Robbers.

I used to be a Barrister Intermediary through this company and I am having the same issues. I have a client who paid £27.50 last August to have her Will returned to her and like the others nothing has arrived. She and I have made a number of calls, left messages, sent emails and have had no response from anyone. I have also emailed direct to one of the owners but still nothing. I am still a Will Writer so I have now offered to redo my clients Will for her at my expense.

Like others, I paid to have our wills returned some months ago. I have messaged and called, but there is no reply. I note that the website has now gone down. I fear I have been scammed by this company, which now appears to be defunct. The phone number remains active but no-one responds.

Awful company no communication with you unless they want money out of you .Paid last year to have our wills returned heard nothing .When you email or phone no reply .
