BEWARE DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY
For a brand I lusted over for so long and saved my money to buy my little girl some pretty outfits - Iâm exceptionally disappointed and angry. I purchased some knit products (I cannot speak for other items they sell) , but they didnât even fit my baby, couldnât get it over her head, they frayed and split instantly. Unwearable and all just fell apart. Hasnât been washed, worn, hadnât even cut the tags off. When I emailed to explain, they said it was my fault - how?? They arenât made to fit a babies head, maybe a doll? They offered a store credit after I asked for a refund. I asked again for a refund but store credit is the best they could offer. I donât want to support their store ever again and will warn every mum I know. Iâm an avid shopper and buy from lots of brands . I know quality when I see it. I have NEVER had multiple items fall apart in my hands without my child even wearing them. BUYER BEWARE. I wish I didnât have to write this post. The clothes look gorgeous but the brand has some serious accountability to take and also revise their sizing and manufacturing operations. They also need to warn customers about the sizing issues as they are trying to deceive customers on quality with their higher price tag

I placed an end of financial year sale order and stuffed up the sizes of my items but customer service were efficient to fix up my mistake after emailing. My order was shipped really fast and delivery was very efficient. I will continue to support this business đ
Customer service absolutely terrible
Customer service absolutely terrible, worst Iâve had from any clothing store, Ordered a knit, and the incorrect size turned up contacted them got a response 4 days later, asking for a photo, after I emailed 3 times, I sent the photo and have had no response itâs been over a week and 4 more emails and Iâve heard nothing, about a $70nzd item delivered, absolutely terrible customer service!

SHORTS NOT LINEN AT ALL

MISLEADING - These shorts took 5 weeks to arrive and then are not the advertised material of KELLY COTTON-LINEN WOMEN'S PANTS, they are in fact polyester/elastane. The sizing is not correct either. Very disappointed that the website implies it is based in Australia however it doesn't appear to be. Return to Asia at my cost now.

I would give them 0 stars if I could!! Order was wrong and they wonât replace or refund. $50 for a onesie with a name. No response until I sent 2 emails. Then very unhelpful response. Very sad and disappointed. I have to find another company to get another outfit. Would not recommend this company to anyone!!! Will never shop here again. Just yuck
BAD customer service
Clothing is lovely but customer service is absolutely horrendous. Staff are so rude and so very unhelpful. Itâs been a month since Iâve ordered from this site and they have been ignoring all my emails and not responding. If you would like good communication with regards to your purchase, I highly recommend you DO NOT order from here as they will leave you in the dark and ignore all your queries/concerns

Model call out
My two girls were selected during a model call out for la sienna early 2023. In exchange for their work, the models would receive a small store voucher and be compensated with all of the photos taken on the day. After the shoot, we received ONE voucher, despite all the singular models receiving the same (1) voucher, apparently management thought this was a good opportunity to get a two for the price of one deal for any siblings they had âemployedâ. I thought this was distasteful but left it as i knew we were being compensated with professional photos which could be used for the girls if they ever want to pursue further modelling. My older child did decide she wanted to, but I couldnât use any of these photos for her portfolio, because 1 year on, we still dont have them.
I reached out on multiple occasions and was very rarely responded to unless I sent 2-3 consecutive emails. When they did finally got back to me, they stated that the warmer weather had come around sooner so the outfits my children wore will not be released untilâŠ. No one knows when?
I immediately asked about the clause in which I agreed to, that stated we would be compensated within a 6 month period- âYou agree that the photographer & La Sienna Couture will email across digital photographs of your child upon the release of the outfits used in the photoshoot, note that this may take up 6 months.â Apparently, I had misinterpreted this statement and I had agreed in-fact to no given timeframe or date in which we would actually receive the compensation for our children doing the shoot. I read this as it was stated, that at a maximum of 6 months both the outfits would be released and the photos would be sent. Who in their right mind would take on work being told youâll be compensated, some day? Unsure when, but maybe at some point? I wonder if I asked to buy their clothes, but Iâd only be paying for them if or when my kids wore them? Would they knowingly accept that offer?
It didnât take long until I noticed that they were doing a call out for more children, and I wanted to make sure that other mums were not mislead into signing the rights of their childâs photos away without any given date to when the parents would receive them. The owner was straight onto my comment, reassuring all that read it that i agreed to these terms willingly, despite me making it very clear had I known, I would never ever have signed up for it. She mentioned my minor childâs name in her comments, on HER public fb forum. I later had la sienna squad trolls come for me for speaking about my experience, all of which had direct access to the identity of my minor child, as the owner carelessly leaked this information.
I was and still am appalled how this company treat the families and children that they have used to sell their clothes and make money off of. I wondered what other options there could be so that I could get what I was owed and truly wipe my hands clean of ever having to deal with this company again. My friend who is a solicitor suggested I offer to sign a non disclosure statement so that they could send me the photos and I would be legally bound not to share them publicly until they have. This seemed like a really reasonable request, as a win, win for both parties. At no surprise, they rejected this compromise. So here I am, still without the photos, and feeling incredibly heartbroken to have exposed my children to this at such a young age. Honestly, it feels exploitative and my love for any brand does not excuse behaviour where a brand takes advantage of its families. Please think twice about applying to be apart of this. They can afford models, but they choose to use yours (and my) children and play it off as âgiving back to their communityâ - selling you the idea that the free labour of your children, and your time, is them âgiving backâ to you⊠because apparently working for them for free is a privilege???
Sadly, my experience is not isolated, many of the other mums who rep or also did the call out have been mortified with how theyâve been treated too. We all started out as women who adored and supported the brand for many years, you do not see the ugliness of the brand until you work with them directly.
Terrible quality
Terrible quality. I got a custom made flutter sleeve top for my daughter only for her to wear it 4 times and then the material just fall apart. You could literally just poke your finger through it with no force. I ripped it up to shreds with no force. I've never seen such low quality clothing. Especially with the price they charge you would expect better quality. Non branded stuff is better quality. Never spending a cent here again
Absolutely terrible and rude
I have been a customer at La Sienna Couture for about a year and have literally spent hundreds of dollars on their products. In this time I have had a number of issues but tired to forget about them as my little girl looks so cute in their clothes but enough is enough after my most recent experience that is still unresolved.
I ordered a size 3 red cozy flutter with embroidery that said âSanta Babyâ firstly the items were late, secondly they sent me a size 2 not 3 and thirdly the embroidery was absolutely terrible. I emailed them and was told the embroidery is the quality that they sell and they had sold hundreds of these and I am the only one to complain (what I receive varied drastically to what is advertised on their website but that was ignored despite images being provided). I was told âas a one offâ they would provide a replacement or refund as the wrong size was provided (do they not normally offer a replacement or refund for sending the wrong item?). Anyway lot of extremely slow back and forth with Elissa via email who is absolutely terrible at her job and has zero customer service skills and takes days to respond and evades requests to have matter escalated to a manager etc. and I STILL donât have a resolution!
To cut a very long story short they have false advertising, bad customer service and you literally have to beg for your refund even after following their ever changing refund/exchange policy.
Do yourself a favour and shop at Arabella and Rose or Jamie Kay Etc. Iâll definitely not be shopping at La Sienna again.
