SCAM. HORRIBLE SLOPPY SERVICE and they will expect YOU to pay for THEIR mistake.

First the instructions for my device were not listed on their YouTube channel. Had to contact them for link to the tutorial which did not have my device name listed on it.

The video they sent me was the correct one, but showed me that they clearly sent me the WRONG key. I sent them clear photos of my invoice confirming that I made the correct request, one of the area where the missing key is, and the incorrect key that they sent me.

They took DAYS to respond, and I contacted them from a different email address because I sensed they were ignoring me.

Then I got a slew of messages claiming they were backed up with their customer support and asked if I still needed help, to which I responded that I have gotten neither a refund nor replacement.

Then they had the audacity to to send me this message:

“Please see your order, your order was fro type + and you can clearly see you have a combot touch, so they are indeed different, for a $5 item we do not have the margins to reship for you as it cost alot to ship out, if you can help out with shipping and handling i can reship for you without you having to return back anything, can you help out with the $8 shipping and handling fee?”

I am supposed to “help out” a company by paying for their mistake?

They are VERY sloppy as their online tutorials are inadequately labeled, they send the wrong pieces, they have inconsistent and inattentive customer service, and they expect people to pay for the company’s long list of mistakes.

They sent me the wrong key, charged me shipping to replace it, but never replaced it. They promised to make things right but never did. Do not buy from this establishment.

genuinely a perfect fit, though It is a slightly different shade that's probably due to the age of my keyboard.

I do wish there was photos on the different hinge types instead of just "MS41" type options or whatever it listed. Luckily the first option for me is a perfect fit!

Thought i was just getting the key cap but I also got everything underneath the cap that was needed, through another company I got everything that came with this order, minus the key cap for about double the price. Definitley a thumbs up for this company.

This place is a scam. If you purchase here, you take a chance your will lose your funds and never receive anything.

I placed an order over 60 days ago and never received anything. I have not received any response from Laptopkeyreplacements customer service.

Amazing customer service and works perfectly! Only thing was that color of key was off color but all I really needed was the hinge so it’s whatever, plus can’t be perfect without exact model type! Would recommend

I found the website through ChatGPT, then I put the model number of my computer and the right key of the keyboard came out. I bought it, and in two weeks. It came in the mail. 👍 it worked

Repeat customer - this time fixing broken hinge on MS Surface laptop. The key/hinge is a perfect fit, the instructions are available in videos on YouTube, they have very clear steps on removing/installing new keys. Great customer service too on replying to order inquiries. Highly recommended, thanks!

I got the key that I needed for my ge76 Raider and it worked as expected , I had to get the additional kit that helped to replace it and now my one key that had got affected its working now

Scammed with tariff fees.

The ordered part is legit, the contents match the description: on that front nothing wrong.

However, after paying more than the price of the product as delivery fees, you would think it was all.
Nope: On delivery, a "tariff fee" matching the delivery fee is asked for.
Those treacherous people at laptopkeyreplacements.com did not pay the tariff fees.

I ended up paying about 4-5 times the unit price of the product. Avoid laptopkeyreplacements.com.

I ordered a replacement shift key for my Dell XPS 13 laptop, and the replacement key they sent did not fit. I emailed the vendor a photo of the issue, but they never responded.

Honest company with good quality! Reached out to me after i ordered to make sure i got the model that fits the best.

No notification when keys shipped. I had to follow up myself. When key arrived it was for an Mx Keys and not the Mx Keys S I had specified. The parts that arrived were obviously scavenged from donor keyboards. The rubber dome was obviously cut out of a used keyboard. The cut out diameter falls through the matrix as it is too small. Disappointing as I need a new dome and scissor mechanism. Wrote to them but they did not respond.
UPDATE: After I wrote the review, I got an email asking me how they could make it right. A new scissor and domes were sent and they sent some adhesive dome stickies. Updated to say that they have now made the order right and I can go ahead and repair keyboard.

Worked with me to find the correct key, and had reasonably quick and effective follow up. Will use again, if I break another key that is.

International customer, so replacing a single key cap was a little bit expensive but better (and more sustainable) than buying a whole new keyboard. A local repair company had quoted me a replacement for 4x the price.

So glad I found a company that had the exact key I needed. Shipping was faster than expected, and packaged very nicely. Installation was very easy and I’m so glad to have a working Shift key again. Thank you!

Great niche company. Good customer service. We got exactly what we needed for the computer and the key replacement kit was very helpful. Looks good as new. A bit pricy for just a keyboard key but we did require international shipping.
