Really bad customer service in the store, shocking

Really bad customer service. If you ever go to the Jersey Gardens store in NJ, you will understand what I mean. All the sales associates should be fired. It seems that they are doing you a favor to sell a merchandise. They have horrible attitude. They look at you as you are an inferior human being. I was shocked to see how they treat the foreigners. This is very sad because I do like the brand and spent 100 dollars in merchandise yesterday. Time to have an Undercover Boss in that store. Try to purchase a purse to see how you will be treated. Then you go next door store to lululemon to see how customer service should be. It's a shame, Kipling.

Kipling Bags - 3 Reasons not to buy!

I am a high schooler and I purchased a Kipling USA bag and it was the worst bag I have ever used. First, the inside slip in the big pocket of the bag broke. Then, the strap had lost the cushioning and it was so bad that it made my shoulder sore, red, and extremely dry from all of the uncomfortable rubbing. Lastly, it did not hold nearly enough of the books I needed to carry. The bag held about two of my binders and a single book. Since then I have purchased a Jansport bag, which has more than enough room for my books and it is super comfortable. I would not recommend buying a Kipling bag, always choose Jansport.

Worst customer service

Worst customer service. Do Not buy from their website if you think you will need to deal with their customer service. They do not honor their own policies. The reps in their customer service department are unwilling to help and are not knowledgeable about their own price adjustment policy even though it is plainly stated on the website's FAQ. Customer service just gives you the run around and does not address the issue. Then when you point out the policy , they end up making other excuses.

My order was shipped on 12/26 and I requested a price adjustment on 12/29. First I got a reply saying they do not honor price adjustments for promotional items. Then I pointed out their adjustment policy which said they did as long as it is 7 days from their SHIP date . Then I got a second reply saying they can't give me an adjustment because it has been 8 days from my order date. I sent them my tracking number which showed the ship date and emphasize again that the policy said ship date, not order date. Which then I get another reply with the same response saying that my order was placed on 12/22 and that the item is out if stock so they cannot do anything. Of course it would be, because it took them 7 Days from my first email to answer my request with wrong information.

Under my account, my order date says 12/23 and my order email confirmation is dated 12/23 ( still within the 7days) so I do not know why they insist that it is 12/22. Shows that the people there are not responsible for their own faults about giving misinformation and will not own up to their own mistakes. I highly suggest that if you are in a similar situation and customer service is not addressing your issue, to file a official complaint online thru the department of state consumer protection and and the FTC complaint assistance.

The WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE and REWARDS SYSTEM !

I have been a loyal customer with Kipling for many years. Their rewards program shut off without any notice. It happened this year (2017) in September till now (December/15/2017), I was not able to connect to their rewards program any longer. Even when I tried to use another browser, it showed me that this website is NOT SAFE, ATTACKERS might steal your information. Therefore, I just called customer service to find out what's wrong with my account. The customer representative replied, sorry, we can't find your account!! Then, I said, Could you please contact your technical people to solve my problem? I am a loyal customer for many years, and I don't want to lose my points. It is always extremely difficult when you ask Kipling to retrieve your missing points just because their system is UNSTABLE! So DISAPPOINTED with Kipling Customer Service!!!!! You have to contact them or write them emails at least 5-6 times to readdress your issues; otherwise, you get NO Service from Kipling! Their customer representative always apologizes by returning emails (only if you write them), but they have no actions to solve the problems! You have to try MANY times! This is the WORST customer service! They should train their customer services and fix & upgrade their systems ASAP!

Review of Kipling (lack of) Customer Service - Has anyone had such a bureaucratic reply to a product search (Kipling 'Alvar' bag in navy blue - WITHOUT the 'warped zippers' as available at the Hudson's Bay)?! Weeks of emails, then cc'ing the executives finally resulted in NO Alvar bag, only this long-winded note: "Thank you for your patience while we researched your request regarding the Alvar zippers. I want applaud you on knowing what things are important to you and inspecting the bag thoroughly before you make a purchase. There are literally hundreds of variables that go into the production of each style and color bag we produce each month.  Our denier nylon fabric, lining material, and zipper tape are purchased from a variety of vendors.  Another variable is the pattern placement and the grain of the fabric, the thread and tensions setting on the machine, and each sewing machine and its operator. The bags we have are stuffed with paper; which is subject to handling, packing, and the movement during shipment. The nylon fabric contours to the contents of the bag. We have audited some of the true blue navy Alvar handbags in our warehouse. Each one passed inspection and is totally functional.
True blue navy is one our core colors and will continuously be produced until further notice. Please keep it in mind for future deliveries. We appreciate your feedback and report consumer comments collectively to the executive officers on a monthly basis in an effort to communicate what consumers want and continually improve our brand." besides the above "non-reply" sent to me, they also didn't offer anything for a bag ehich had a seam unravel!

The customer service for this company …

The customer service for this company is horrible. They ran a sale which people who suffered through hurricane Irma were not able to access. Upon contacting this company so they could provide the discount since they were closed till Tuesday and inaccessible they would not extend the sale. They were insensitive to people during a natural catastrophe.

Durable bag ❤️

I have no experience with kipling usa customer service or whatever, but I remember my mom got me a kipling basic backpack when I was in high school, now I am 23 and I still have strong memories of the bag. The bag is probably the strongest bag human ever made 😂, I was so attached to them I used them for more than 6 years carrying heavy stuff everyday like my books but there was no even one tiny hole on them. It was as perfect as the first day, the only problem was the colour faded. It's worth the price I promise.

Customer service is unhelpful and rude

I was sent a small suitcase instead of a backpack. I thought, no problem, I'll call customer service to return and have the right one sent. Customer service argued that they didn't send the wrong item, said I would have to pay for returning the item, refused to replace the item with the correct order. I asked to talk to the supervisor,Karen, who after waiting 30 minutes hung up on me with an audible flippant oops. I did not curse or provoke them. I am disabled and am in need of a wheeled backpack for my classes. They ,Karen and those under her,were without any compassion and seem to have a I don't care about my job attitude. Kipling upper management had better take a hard look at their customer service department. I for one will never buy a Kipling product again.

Durable handbags--who knew?!

The Kipling brand that we loved as kids when we toted around their backpacks, now makes awesome bags that are just as durable as the backpacks we dragged around and threw wherever!
