No problem with kingfisher products but very disappointed with customer service. Ordered an asbestos garage roof repair kit. Money taken immediately but never recieved confirmation email. After a week phoned them and was told they hadn't made the kit yet but should receive it in a few days. Still never recieved it. Phoned again again and told they still hadn't got the ingredients to make it but could perhaps send part of the kit. At this point I asked for a refund.

Placed my order on the 30th March for a sample pot of weather proofing paint.
Followed up with Kingfisher twice regarding lack of delivery. Confirmation of despatch note finally received on the 20th April stating "you should receive it tomorrow"
Received APC delivery message on three separate occasions 20th & 21st, however no show.
Contacted Kingfisher who relayed issue to APC, came up with an excuse regarding unable to determine delivery address.
Kingfisher stated I can contact APC directly myself or collect the item from them. Asked for a refund.
The whole experience was shambolic from the start.

I ordered Kingfisher’s anti mould paint after struggling with recurring mould patches on an external facing wall, and the experience from purchase to results felt genuinely smooth. Delivery arrived within the promised window, the tub was properly sealed, and nothing leaked or damaged in transit, which already set a good first impression. The paint applied easily with a roller, spread evenly, and did not produce strong fumes, so I could use it indoors without needing heavy ventilation or stopping halfway through.

Coverage surprised me in a good way because it built up nicely after the second coat and left a clean, consistent finish across the wall. Many specialist coatings feel thick or awkward to work with, but this one handled more like a standard interior paint while still giving that protective layer. After several weeks in a room that normally develops mould quickly, I have not seen any signs returning, even around corners where it usually starts first.

What stood out most was how practical the product felt rather than gimmicky. It did exactly what it claimed to do, which is rare with problem solving paints that often overpromise and underdeliver. Based on my own use, the performance has been reliable, the finish still looks fresh, and the wall has stayed clear, so I would confidently use it again for similar problem areas.

I really regret buying this product. Poor quality and difficult to install.

Ordered sage green exterior paint because I had seen it on a friends property, its a nice light green. I received 10 litres of dark green paint, it couldn't be much darker if it was black. I thought well maybe paint a bit of the house and let it dry it might be ok. It looks darker than the old corporation green. No problem I will just contact them for a return, nothing no response just totally ignored. Its also quite thin paint and doesn't cover very well, initially I wanted to change the paint for the right colour but on reflection I will cut my losses and go somewhere else.

I contacted Kingfisher Building Products Limited via telephone last week as I wanted to check if they could visit me home to check a damproofing course that was guaranteed by them. The dampcourse treatment was done in July 2010 with a 30 year guarantee.

I explained that I had bought the house in the Autumn last year and had damp on my front wall, the lady I was speaking with asked if I had the original certificate and explained that I did. She then asked if I had transferred ownership from the previous owner, I explained I had just received all of the paperwork from my solicitor following the purchase of the house. She very smuggly then explained I had voided the guarantee as I had not registered the new ownership within 30 days of the sale. How can this be fair, when buying a house the paperwork can take months to get sorted and sent from one solicitor to another.

I consider this very poor service and just a way of them getting out of any responsibilities they may have in the guarantee.

To my mind a damp proof course guarantee with this company is not worth the paper it is written on.

Very impressed with it their external masonary paint, it’s been on our house for the last few years and we thought it could do with freshening up, ordered late Sunday, item was received first thing Wednesday morning, very quick delivery.

Although Kingfisher's paints are okay, their return policy and customer service leave much to be desired. Returning a product becomes a costly affair, with all expenses falling on the customer. Moreover, finding a courier to handle liquid items like paint can be challenging and expensive. My interaction with their customer service was disappointing; they were not only ineffective at resolving my issues but also exhibited rudeness. There is room for considerable improvement in these areas."

The paint arrived OK, but the thermal paint was really disappointing. The coverage is not very good at all. I was painting over a beige background wall with a slightly lighter colour, 2 coats and it's still very patchy. Sadly I wouldn't buy again.

Not even sure the 5 litres I have will cover all of a small bedroom with the amount of coats I am going to have to give it. Not what I was expecting at all.

Bought some anti mould paint a few months ago, wish I'd heard of it years ago. Great coverage lovely finish and more importantly no mould .Excellent product. Highly recommended. J. Maguire.

Purchased 5L of pond paint from these, which arrived no problem. I had to do 2 coats so split the paint and hardener into two lots by measuring into scuttles and in total these was only 3.75L of combined product having paid for 5L. I originally put this review up on their site, but of course it never got through their self approval for reviews.

I ordered Thermapaint Anti-Mould Paint 10 Litres Brilliant white on their website and they processed and send Ambleside Blossom plus Roller Kit Roller & Brush. I received the second item, first got lost on the way. I waited almost a week and at my suggestion, they decided to send me a new paint and deal with the carrier regarding the lost one. I got my paint eventually but "the seal has snapped in transit" and my scale showed 9 kg, photos sent to the company. Their answer: "the weight on the label is rounded up, our Production Manager has looked at the photos and confirmed there is 10 liter of paint in the bucket." .....?!?!?!?!Speechless.

Can I just say this review is not for Kingfisher Beer - It's for Kingfisheruk Building Products... Anyway I ordered some paint on Sunday evening and it was here by Tuesday afternoon. I haven't used the paint yet but sure it'll be fine.

Taking orders online ,and money but have no intention of fulfilling them !!!
Avoid at all costs . Looks like I have lost my money.

absolutely disgraceful,bought 5 litres of paint from them,cost£40.00.was quoted as covering 35 square metre,i painted an 8 square metre wall,prepared it perfectly,gave it 2 coats,ran out paint,and it did not cover,contacted them,and after about 3or 4 emails,they finally responded,to cut a long story short,they made every excuse possible,put all the blame on me,did not even consider that it could be a bad batch of paint,never known a company to react like this,was as if they didn't even care about what they was selling,my advice,avoid this company!

Kingfisher serves the finest beer across the country. These beer making every party so much special best among other brands. I strongly recommend Them. if you want to taste the finest beer in town just blindly go with it.

Kingfisher is strong and has a great taste. The price is reasonable. It is my next favorite brand after Budweiser. i still expect them to increase the quality level. But it is still my favorite beer.

Best quality products in the industry, i used alot of building chemicals and found Kingfishers products to consist of a better quality and purity than the other brands.
