Very pleasant experience with Ken…

Very pleasant experience with Ken Howells for the past half a year that I have been using them. The bonus rewards are very much standardized as with most online bookies, but the withdrawals hit my bank account much faster then the average bookie.

Closed my account for no reason

Received an email with the following :

"Following a review of your account, we’ve identified activity that is not consistent with our policies. As a result, your account has been permanently closed.

This decision is final and will not be subject to further correspondence or review."

No explanation, no policies that I "supposedly" broke, no chance to make amends for god knows what I was "supposed" to have done, and no option to repeal. I did absolutely nothing wrong. I only made a few bets on the site. Stupid and pathetic.

** Responding to the reply below - The reason you have stated means nothing and doesn't explain anything. You ban who you want but unless they are losing money on your site. Predatory behaviour.

Account closed after three weeks or so

Account closed after three weeks or so for one apparent reason: I was winning.

I received a generic message claiming my activity wasn’t “consistent with policies,” but no actual explanation or evidence was provided. Just a vague excuse.

This feels like a bookmaker that’s happy to take your money but quick to shut you down the moment you win.

No transparency, no accountability. I would not recommend. It’s very simple, if you win your out. Losers only need apply. I’m 76 and spend my time studying tennis but I’m not the punter they want. If my stakes were too high just cut it down not just close an account.

Never responsible for app malfunctions

Happy with site but when their site malfunctions they take zero responsibility which is always at the detriment of customers.
Had a problem depositing, sanctioned by my bank only to find page on their site to confirm by button had been removed below the viewing window so unable to place bet. You know the outcome when these things it usually wins and costs you . It did significantly. Although added to my deposit limits they never received notification of it. How ? Asked someone in authority to call me 5-7 days was the reply. What action could I take but to close the account! Shame cos I liked KH

Had an account for 3 weeks so far

Had an account for 3 weeks so far. Getting used to the layout etc and cant fault it so far. Withdrawals pretty quick to debit card within minutes, settling fast, everything works. Even had an issue with a bet that they settled positively as a gesture of goodwill and was a nice surprise.Support are not 24x7 but then doesn't need to be does it? Prompt response the following day. The KYC side will take place soon, but thats all bookies now in UK. I just bet on horses, football and a little roullette. To be honest, never heard of them before but really glad I found them and so far they seem pretty straight and uncomplicated. Thanks very much gang.

Poor odds rubbish casino returns


I've been using Ken Howells for around a month now and overall I'm pretty disappointed. Here's my honest breakdown:

**Sports Betting & Odds**
The odds across the board are poor, particularly in-play where they are well below what you'd find at the major bookmakers. I compared them regularly and the only area where they hold up competitively is horse racing — but let's be honest, that's the same with pretty much every bookmaker these days. Football odds are by far the worst I've seen, I'd strongly recommend shopping around elsewhere if football is your main betting market.

**Casino**
This is where it gets really bad. In over 1,000 spins across a month of use, I can count my wins on one hand — I think I won twice. The return rate on the casino games is the worst I have ever come across. Avoid if you're a slots player.

**Promotions**
The promotions look appealing on the surface but don't be fooled. They are few and far between, and when you dig into the small print the terms and conditions are so restrictive that they are almost worthless in practice.

**Summary**
There are far better bookmakers out there offering better odds, fairer casino returns and more genuine promotions.
