Just go Motorhomes - Edinburgh Omdömen 340

The motor home I was given was not what I had ordered. Several things were broken: Toilet leaking into main dining area; TV not work: Leisure battery not work on Fridge/Freezer: Broken blinds: Sat Nav not work even when representative tried to do it with his own phone.
Trying to register a complaint is virtually impossible. There is no direct number.

Horrible experience in Scotland with Just Go company (ONGOING)
Just go Motorhomes We have now also been informed that this company has been bought by Indie Campers , and we are urgently asking them to step in and help resolve this situation. We also want to make it very clear that we mean absolutely no disrespect to the Scottish people — everyone we have met here has been kind, helpful, and supportive during this difficult time.

On the 30th of March, just 4 days ago, we arrived in Scotland for our long-awaited family holiday. We are 4 families in total, and this trip has been planned for over a year.

We took a taxi from the airport to the “Just Go” motorhome company to collect our 4 motorhomes – one for each family. Everything seemed fine at first, and we set off on our journey to do the NC500. We stayed at our first campsite overnight, excited to begin our adventure.

The next morning, at around 11:30am, our motorhome broke down and would not start.

We called roadside assistance, and they arrived about an hour later. They managed to start the motorhome, cleared some error messages, and told us everything was fine. We trusted them and continued driving.

After just 45 minutes, the motorhome started failing again. It would barely drive, going only 30–60 km/h at maximum speed. This was extremely dangerous, especially when trying to pull out of roundabouts or side roads, as the vehicle had almost no power.

We managed to reach a campsite, only to discover that even reverse gear wasn’t working. We had to park in a way that didn’t require reversing – and then the motorhome completely died again and wouldn’t start at all.

We called “Just Go” again. They promised someone would come that same evening to fix the issue. We waited… and waited… and waited… calling repeatedly until 11pm. No one ever showed up.

The next morning, after calling yet again, a technician finally arrived with a tow truck — after 6 hours of waiting, leaving us stranded at the campsite until 3pm. He told us the motorhome was NOT reliable and was dangerous to drive, and it had to be towed away.

This left my family — 2 adults and 2 children — completely stranded.

We contacted “Just Go” again, and they told us that once the motorhome was collected, they would dispatch a replacement. Not wanting to waste more time, we joined the other families and travelled to the next destination, expecting the replacement motorhome to meet us there.

But it never arrived.

We have made countless phone calls since then. Every single time, we are told the same thing: “It has been escalated to management.” And yet, management never contacts us. No solutions, no updates, no help — nothing.

They have left us stranded with nowhere to sleep, and they have shown absolutely no care or responsibility.

Thankfully, on the first night, a kind campsite owner managed to find us a bungalow so at least my family had shelter. But the following night, there was nothing available. We were forced to sleep on the floors of our friends’ motorhomes like we are completely helpless.

We are now on day 4 out of 10, and we are still stranded with no proper accommodation, no replacement vehicle, and no support.

We have tried everything — calling the company over and over again, contacting the Maltese Embassy in the UK, the police, and UK consumer services — and still NO ONE is helping us.

We are exhausted, angry, and completely desperate. We paid a lot of money for this trip, and we are being treated like we don’t matter at all.

They have ruined our entire itinerary, our holiday, and our happiness. A trip we planned for a year was destroyed on the second day.

We still have 6 days left and we are basically homeless in a foreign country after paying so much money.

Can anyone please help us? We are truly at a loss.

The staff were fantastic, especially John who was incredibly helpful as it was our first time with a motorhome. Scotland didn’t disappoint and we’re already looking forward to returning next year!

Car very good condition and pickup and return motorhome procedure very convenience and fast.

This is the third time we have used just go after two very positive experiences, we felt this time something had changed. Motor home was dirty outside (not their fault as the washer had broken) but did leave us exposed to potential damage that can’t be seen. The motor home could have been cleaner inside also, was clean but not sparkling clean and upholstery being cream needed a deep clean. The shower leaked and the only plug came out of a socket. Small things such as leads not tidily put away in the storage area meant we spent significant time untangling before plugging in on our first night in the freezing cold. Would still use again but first two time were a much better experience.

Good customer communication, staff very friendly, walk around the motorhome was very informative with clear instructions.

Motorhome lovely. Collection very slow and put us behind on our travels - most of which could have been done before the day.

Friendly staff, the motorhome was really nice. I wish they had more staff at the registration for the height season. we waited for almost an hour and half. But really good support on the motorhome, definitely will come back.

Flexibility, great customer service, friendly staff, clear instructions and great advice. We had an awesome trip. Thank you so much.

Scotland is a beautiful place and to experience it in the comfort of a motorhome was perfect. With unlimited miles, we were able to see a vast area. We would definitely recommend this trip to others and we will book another motorhome holiday with Just Go.

Me han retenido parte de la fianza injustamente, responsabilizándome por la pérdida de una rejilla de ventilación que, apenas diez minutos después de recoger la autocaravana y comenzar a circular, salió despedida por sí sola.

He presentado varias reclamaciones de manera educada, pero ni siquiera se han dignado a responder a mis correos electrónicos.

Además, contraté el pack premium, que incluía varios accesorios adicionales, muchos de los cuales no estaban o faltaban parcialmente.

También contraté el servicio de recogida en el aeropuerto, confirmé mi llegada y referencia de vuelo con varios días de antelación por correo electrónico, y aun así tuve que llamar repetidamente al aterrizar porque no había nadie esperándonos.

Una experiencia decepcionante y poco profesional.

I will never rent with Just Go again!

They unfairly withheld part of my deposit, blaming me for the loss of a ventilation grille that, just ten minutes after picking up the motorhome and starting to drive, came off on its own.
I have submitted several polite complaints, but they haven’t even bothered to reply to my emails.
On top of that, I purchased the premium package, which included several additional accessories—many of which were missing or only partially provided.
I also booked the airport pick-up service, confirmed my arrival and flight details several days in advance by email, and still had to call repeatedly upon landing because no one was there to meet us.

A disappointing and unprofessional experience.

Overall it was a great experience. The booking was the best part. The colleague that spoke to me was friendly, excited, and really nice when it came to explaining everything related to the motorhomes. Picking up and dropping off the Motorhomes was also great. Quick and easy and the explanations that were given by the colleagues were quick and easy to understand.
My only negative feedback was that the shower was leaking everywhere specially under the kitchen sink and the grey water valve was also leaking. Made our experience a little bit more uncomfortable since we could not use the shower and had to be mindful of were we parked due to the grey water valve leakage.

Superb customer service - Think her name was Rebecca but she was great - we also were looked after by Ann Marie to make our booking - again great.

We had never rented a campervan before. As novices, we had no idea what we had in store. JustGo made it simple and provided us with a beautiful and almost spanking new camper. We had a blast touring Scotland in our little home away from home on wheels. I highly recommend JustGo if you are considering a campervan tour of the old country.

As a returning customer, our experience was great again. A few problems were solved immediatly by the staff. Our booked motorhome wasn't available and the one we eventually took wasn't equiped with enough dishes, mugs, but everything was taken care off. Our holiday was once again superb!

This is the 4th time iv used just go, they are very professional, the motorhomes are always high quality and presented well, will definitely use just go again
