I have been waiting for a refund of £480 for almost 4 months now. When I contact for an update I am issued with an apology and I am told that I will receive an update once the accounts team process my refund. My calls are now not being answered and I have had to report the company to Trading Standards.

My payment was for a replacement bath as the original one I ordered arrived damaged and was unavailable to reorder. It then became available again and was sent out but my refund for the additional payment I made for the alternative bath has never been issued. I was initially told it would be processed once we sent proof that we had disposed of the damaged bath, I’m not sure why when the refund should had been issued as soon as I agreed to stick with the original model when it was restocked. Even so, I sent proof of disposal on 15th March and I have still not received my refund. Absolutely shocking to withhold almost £500 which rightfully belongs to a customer for over 4 months. As yet I still have not received my refund…

Great product and service

My experience was excellent. I called a number of times about sizes, dimensions, installation and they didn't get bored of my amateur questions. I went for the Lisna Waters Mayfair steam cabin. It was delivered on time unlike the plumber. However when he did install it, he said it was bang on and straight forward to build. Most importantly its fabulous now absolutely love it. Thanks everyone.

We ordered and paid £745 for a shower unit for a disabled person in November 2024. When purchasing the website stated 7-10 days for delivery. When it got to 2nd December we received an email saying it would be delivered late January/february. We heard nothing so in March we contacted them again to be told it would now be June!! At this point they had had £745 of a disabled persons money since November. We asked for a refund as the continued delays was causing great disruption and meant we were having to pay for personal care for our relative who had no shower unit! On 30th March 2025 they agreed to a refund and said it would be 7-14 days.
AFTER CHASING AND CHASING VIA EMAIL AND TELEPHONE CALLS (WHERE THEY PUT THE PHONE DOWN IF THEY DO NOT WISH TO SPEAK TO YOU) WE FINALLY RECEIVED A REFUND IN MAY 2025.
So they had held money for nearly 6 months!!!!
At no point did they contact us and we had to constantly chase in the end threatening action via small claims court and debt recovery management. We did report them to trading standards.
PLEASE READ REVIEWS ON HERE AND ONLINE VERY CAREFULLY AND DO NOT HAVE THE EXTREME INCONVENIENCE AND UPSET WR HAVE HAD TO ENDURE

ORDER NO 46444 before they try to get this review removed!!!

Thank you for your feedback, and we are truly sorry for the frustration and disruption this situation caused — especially in light of your relative’s needs. I can see we advised via email of the delay on 21st Jan, and had no more communication then until you requested a review 6weeks later.

Your order was placed while the item was listed as on back order with our suppliers. Although the checkout advised an estimated delivery of 7–10 days, this is based on stock arriving back with us from the supplier, which unfortunately experienced ongoing delays outside our control. We fully acknowledge that these delays caused considerable inconvenience and distress, and for that, we sincerely apologise. Alternitive products from similar brands were always available if required

Recent events — notably, the Red Sea crisis, where commercial vessels have been attacked — have forced major shipping lines to reroute around the Cape of Good Hope. This has added substantial delays to shipments arriving from Asia. (BBC News – Red Sea shipping crisis)

With regards to your refund, we processed the request through our accounts department as soon as it was approved. However, in some cases, refund clearance can take longer depending on the card provider’s processing times — typically up to 5–10 working days after we’ve issued it. We understand how frustrating it is to have to chase for updates, and we regret that our communication during this time fell short.

We’d like to clarify that we do not hang up on customers unless there is abusive or offensive language used — we value respectful communication on both sides and are always here to help.

Please be assured that we take all feedback seriously and are actively reviewing our processes to prevent situations like this from occurring again.

AVOID like the plague

They are cheaper than the competition for a reason. My bet is that they are just drop-shippers, so have no control over stock or delivery times.
Their aftersales service is non-existent, all you get is "Oh, I'm sorry" followed by a hollow promise.
I purchased a shower unit on 28th Jan 2025. Despite calls and emails which advised that it was for a holiday flat and therefore had financial consequences if they missed delivery, I'm still waiting for it to arrive nearly 1 month later (5-10 working day delivery is their bold quote)
I have had to cancel 2 holiday groups so far, costing me way more than I should have saved.
My advice, go to one of the big names and pay the extra for a professional service.

Update following JT Spas response:
If I could change the review to less than 1 star, it would still be too many for this company, as I will explain/fact check.

In their "clarification for future customers" there are many untruths, nay, down right lies, and I challenge them to prove otherwise.

"Your order was fulfilled accordingly" from the Leeds warehouse: LIE - my order was not fulfilled at all. I never took delivery of anything

"we remained in regular contact regarding queries": LIE - There was no contact initiated by them, other than "thank you for your order, the delivery will be 5-10 working days" (also a lie)

"The situation arose ... damage to the rails after delivery": LIE - read above. There was NEVER any attempt made to deliver the goods

"We offered replacement parts": LIE - You have to deliver something in order to replace it

"We will use this feedback constructively to improve our service": Remains to be seen

As a punctuation point for this review, and pack of lies response.
Even though JT Spas sent an Email to me to say that the refund had been approved, I had to contact my credit card company to force a chargeback on JT Spas for failure to return my money. My CC company took approximately 1 day to confirm that a chargeback was necessary once they looked through my communication trail with JT Spas.

Terrible, rude appalling

The worst company I have ever dealt with!
Rude customer service (Dawn) been waiting 4 months for a bath that should have come in 5 days.
Now not even able to give me an update!
We will tell you when it’s ready…. Don’t call us we will call you!!!!!!
The product is now £400 cheaper and I haven’t even got It!!!!
No refund, told , if it went up would you pay more???

Poor Service Avoid this company at all costs.

What a joke JT spas are! Having a new bathroom fitted and with a time scale very important. Ordered a shower enclosure on the 31st December 2024. Initially told 5/7 working days. Having paid a large amount of money, they've had our money for 11 days. Having paid extra for express delivery, nothing turned up. Numerous calls and no information!
Then today to be told, there was no room on our courier lorry, we don't know when you'll get it! Not acceptable! Also told no managers available and no you can't have a refund! The customer service is a joke, eventually we're getting our money back. Avoid this company, no customer empathy or skills. Certainly wouldn't use them again

Terrible Delivery times, Even worse customer service

Purchased a product after speaking with customer services on the 28th of November asking if this would definitely be a Pre- Christmas delivery to be now told 5 days before christmas this now will not arrive until mid January.

As for the customer services team, where to start… emails remain unanswered, when you do manage to speak to somebody they can’t answer a query and advise you will receive a call back however this also never happens. Getting a straightforward answer seems to be difficult.

Upon delivery find a printed email to the manufacturer dated the 8th January from JT Spas only then asking for the item to be put into production despite being advised multiple times from customers service in December that the bath was ready and only awaiting 1 part.
Do not lie to your customers and then leave evidence to the contrary taped to customers products. Appalling service.

After purchasing the shower cubicle it arrived promptly.
The cubicle itself was packaged well.
We read through the reviews and instructions which to be honest made it sound quite easy but when it came to the actual assembly none of the instructions made sense.
Please be aware that that the cubicle is extremely heavy and if your space is limited it's impossible to erect. We ended up having to engage a plumber who said it was the worst instructions he'd ever seen.
It looks great now its finished and works really well but unless you've got a degree in engineering I would think twice before purchasing this item”

REALLY THEN AFTER THE BATH WAS INSTALLED I NOTICED IT WAS THAT THIN YOU COULD SEE THROUGH IT.... THEIR SOULUTION WE WILL SEND YOU A REPAIR KIT..... THEN I NOTICED THE BATH HAD A HAIRLINE CRACK ON THE SIDE... THEY SAID IT MUST HAVE BEEN DAMAGED AT INSTALLATION !!!! THEN THEY SAID THEY WOULD SEND SOMEONE TO REPAIR THE DAMAGE !!!! THEY NEVER DID ..... IM NOT FINISHED WITH THIS SITUATION YET AND I WILL BE BACK ONTO THEM TO PUT MY SITUATION RIGHT....

Very poor post sales service

I may update this review later depending on the next few days. Currently, we have spent nearly £1800 on a spa bath that our fitters can’t fit because it’s faulty. We informed JT Spas as soon as the problem was identified - the hose to the pump looks like it has been damaged by excessive heat when fitted to the bath during manufacture and it leaks. It also leaks around one of the lights where they’ve simply not put sufficient sealant. Obviously never tested for being watertight before shipping it. JT Spas seems to have decided, without seeing it, that the damage was caused following delivery and refused to come and fix the problem until we paid them a further £252 for a call out fee. Additionally, they are offering a date in 2 weeks. They seemed to suggest that they have only one fitter!!! We and our fitters are being hugely inconvenienced by this and I don’t think this charge or timeframe is acceptable. We’d sent images and videos. This is extremely poor customer service.
In addition the fitting instructions didn’t match the bath supplied and the nuts were the wrong size. Although the latter 2 issues were rectified after we called, this had already caused delay.
Update 25th September. No progress. Apparently there really is only one person who can help and he is away until 30 September and nobody else has access to his diary. Therefore every single customer with problems is simply left hanging!!

All baths undergo a rigorous 24-hour water test before dispatch, including video documentation and checks to ensure there are no leaks. As a retailer, we do not have an in-house team for callouts, but we work closely with numerous third-party engineers to provide service support when issues arise, only one covers your area though. We understand the delays you've faced and the inconvenience caused by the current engineer availability, and we regret that this has led to further frustration.

deliver took three attempts and was a communication horror parts were missing from the bath ( the suggestion was that it would be quickest if we source the parts ourselves locally)
two months later the missing brackets arrived
then when we open the shower screen for the installation we find it cracked and it falls to bits and
the bathtub itself is good quality however the process has been distressing and perhaps a matter for trading standards.

When the goods we re-attempted the pallet delivery was refused onsite by someone at the property as they wanted the bath carried into the property although it was a kerbside delivery. The delivery company actually charged us for each of the failed delivery attempts as they were not the pallet delivery cause of the failed delivery. i see you ordered bath taps and they were delivered the next day recently for you.

We understand how frustrating it can be to receive a product that doesn't meet your expectations, and we sincerely apologise for any inconvenience caused. Our team is currently investigating what went wrong in order to prevent such occurrences in the future and we note you have re-ordered a new bath screen at a discounted price.
