I've been working at this place for a bit over 2 years. I know this to be a STABLE job. I have no complaints because I know how it works. Many of my friends are working with Job Duck. In order to find success you have to commit. It's the same in every business.

Let me be clear. I must do my best because they are not giving things away for free. The people who I know to complain the most are the ones who work the least. If you embrace responsibility (that's life) then you reap the benefits of being independent.

Job Duck has allowed me to be independent.

Loving working here! The company, the leadership, the team members... they're all so great!

The whole experience was smooth since the very first contact. The interview was memorable: I had never felt so relaxed in an interview!

I also loved Duck University and being there surrounded by incredible people, not only other applicants but also the staff and facilitators all had a positive energy. I felt that, even if I failed, I'd be taking away so much knowledge and good memories.

Great place to work, with amazing team members, and management is very approachable. Definitely, I'm really happy, and was the best decision to apply.

They treat latinos like trash. After I quit, the GSU scheduled a call and let me know that I was not going to get paid for the last 2 weeks I worked basically SLAVERY. Work and don´t get paid. Their contract is designed to screw you over.
Would not recommend job duck for anyone, only if desperate for work. Their hiring process is slow, the wage is low.

I was hired and let me tell you not only did they hire me for a role I didn’t apply to or was qualified for, but they then fired me for not learning the job fast enough (2 weeks) they are not organised, they don’t seem to have direction and it’s frustrating for an A personality type like me. There are also cliques in the company so if you are not part of one then it’s going to be hard for you

The service is so so. And the application flow isn't as simple.

I applied as a friend referred me. I did the online application, submitted all the documents and a few days later received an email that they wish not to continue.

I was not given a reason, which I found to be unprofessional. If I knew what the issue was, I could know if it's negotiable or what. I am in my 50's with lots of experience. Now I am not sure if it is my experience, my age or my rate that is the reason for the decline.

I found the whole process very impersonal as I never spoke to anyone. Other agencies do interviews, speak to you, explain where they can and cannot help and what is available.

Speak to Exclusively Remote, they are AMAZING!!!

I worked from November 2021 to April 2022. A very short period and I gotta say that the process to get accepted and paid took VERY long.

I was desperate since it took me one year to find a job after a pandemic and about two weeks since signing my VERY suspicious contract with Job Duck to actually start working. So yeah, they send you a lot of tests, and then they place you with an American company. For me, the salary was great; you get paid so much less in Mexico for this kind of position (about 500 us dollars monthly, in Job Duck, it was 500 biweekly).
Anyway, they constantly evaluate you and talk with your boss (or client, that's what they call them at Job Duck). I passed my three month trial period, and I was getting great feedback from the clients, which is why, by the fourth month, when they fired me, it surprised me a lot.

I learned that the contract only protects them, not you. I learned that they don't protect you from their mean clients; they protect themselves and their "reputation." They can fire you whenever they want to and for any reason they can find. It feels humiliating how they do it.
Basically, one Monday, I had a call with Job Duck, and they told me my performance was great, and the clients were delighted with me. Later that Friday, Job Duck called me and said that I shouldn't bother to go to work, the clients didn't want to work with me anymore (the clients basically ghosted me, never even bothered to tell me why I was fired or give me a heads up). Oh! Not to mention during my period with the clients, I saw 3 assistants from Job Duck come and go (very sus and a giant red flag from the client and Job Duck). Also, I've had exchanges with people who worked at Job Duck and were fired the same way.

So yeah... if you're from Latin America, you have great perks: 10 vacation days, a high salary, and you get to improve your English skills. But for the humiliating way they fired me and how my mental health and work confidence was affected, I would NEVER reapply.

As a virtual assistant, I can tell you it's better to do it independently than to work for these types of companies.

If you are searching jobs at Linkedin or other platform, don't waste time in this company.
There's another review that explains it better but in my personal experience... The application process takes way too much time, from the time you send your first application to actually start making money it could be up to 2 months or more.
The interviews, questions, questionnaries take unnecessary amount of time. Asking no relevant questions and most of them really personal. Also they won't tell you almost nothing about the position or your work team.
And all of the positve reviews here are bots, don't trust them haha

If you are looking for a positive work environment where you can achieve a healthy work/life balance, then this is the place to be working. I admire the hardworking and supportive people I work with daily and being a mom while working has never been this stress-free.

I am proud to have been working with Job Duck for almost a year now. It took me two weeks to go through the application process and it was worth it.

The company's culture is amazing and it really makes me excited about my professional life. For a fully remote company, it must certainly be challenging to develop a great and engaging working culture, but Job Duck totally succeeds at this. We have a very good work/life balance, which is key for me, and, therefore, I am very glad I was given the opportunity to join this company!

This is the best job opportunity I have ever had. Everyone at Job Duck is so supportive and collaborative, it makes you feel like you are in the right place. There is always room for growth and improvement and the salary is paid correctly and always on time. Also, you work from home so you don't have to waste your time and money on commuting. I am immensely happy here! I was looking for a change because I didn't feel comfortable or satisfied with my previous job, so if you are doubting about it or you don't know if you should apply, believe me, it is worth it. Give it a try, you won't regret!

Let's get real.

When I applied to Job Duck was in the middle of the pandemic and 100% remote work was a must since I have a daughter to look after. I passed all the challenges (yes, it was different than any other selection process) but the thing is working there is AMAZING.

I can take care of my kids (now I have 2), log in and log out at a fixed hour (no extra hours at all). I just have so much quality time with my family and I'm no longer complaining about traffic, commute, and leaving my kids in daycare. It's been great for me as a mom!

I came across Job Duck in November 2020. I liked their job ad, so I applied. I've been working here since then and I can truly say I've found the best place to work - for me and many others. It's not just the "work from home" thing, which is very appealing, but the people that make up the company are amazing.

The application process wasn't easy, and neither is the job I got since the standards and expectations are high; every day comes with a new set of challenges, but working through them as part of an incredible team is part of the fun.

I hope to have the pleasure of working here for many more years :)
