Been using InsureCarHire for 4yrs now, always at the end of the phone (Thanks Jake!) when needed and have had no issues. The only reason I didn't leave 5 stars was the unpredictable extra loading due to occupation which I guess is probably the case with most insurance companies.

We run a small hire car company and have dealt with insure car hire for the last 6-8 months, we have had great help from them and none of our customers have been turned down for insurance. The forms online are little tricky if you’re doing them on your phone but otherwise they have been great. And if you phone them up they’re always willing to help you. It’s great that we finally found a company that would insure our customers. Thank you everyone.

Absolutely waste of time, filled out the form then read the 1 google review they have that says they decline everyone no matter what and there soul purpose is to grab data, anyway i rang them up they wouldn't give me any information over the phone just told me their under writers will get back to me, had an automated email declining and giving no reason whatsoever, same as anyone else thats filled out the form, don’t waste your time

Great rate for motorhome excess insurance but after trying 5 of mine and my husbands debit and credit cards gave up. Automated response every time ‘your payment hasn’t been authorised by your financial institution’
On contacting bank they cld not see any payments as trying to be taken. Obv a website glitch. Telephoned them and they said they cld do nothing and didn’t take phone payments so gave up and went to Quester Insurance where my payment went through first time Hurrah!
Paid £30 more but at least it was done and a much better website experience.
Insure car hire you need to get it sorted!

I was disappointed to be turned down, with just 2 BMW Z3 s to hire to my BnB guests (and the general public) my cars are 2002 and sub 30,000 miles in showroom condition. No reason was offered, just a blunt refusal. tHIS SEEMS TO FOLLOW THE REVIEWS i FOUND ON HERE. Don't waste your time filling out the quotation forms,
You will receive an automated response that unfortunately they are unable to offer you insurance and no reason can be given,
It is evident reading from other reviews and various forums that they are no longer able to offer any new businesses with daily insurance

Tried getting quotations for 3 different fleets with and without previous trading history but they will always refuse a quotation. On top of that they wont even give you a reason for not quoting. Turning down so many companies shows they do not have any capable underwriters for the market out there. What frustrates the most is that I had tried different fleet sizes but they still wont insure any. Should at least give any eligibility requirements on their website so it doesnt waste anyones time.

We write this review knowing that this company will throw us off their platform and that the initial down payment will be lost.

IF you're considering this company, just be aware that the company can alter the rates at any time without warning, it can also revoke it's services at anytime without prior warning (as per terms). If you have cars on the road, you have no option but to pay the price. There are reputable companies out there that can assist new hire firms; £125k on, we learnt the hard way.

We started trading with this company on the 09 April 2014 and paid the initial 'site charge' of £1000.00. After a short period we were contacted by the company to advise the rates were increasing. We noticed a Vauxhall Corsa was now being charged from £7 to £9. A few months later, this increased to £11. We continued in good faith as we trusted the company.

We spent £30,090.06 during our first year and £65,645.83 during the second. In total we spent £125,082.70 with insurecarhire.com.

The rates continued to shoot up, and we had no option but to reduce the amount of services obtained from this company. Currently the rate for a Vauxhall Corsa is £35.16 per day; this is ridiculous and totally unacceptable.

WE HAVE A £0 CLAIMS EXPERIENCE. The Rates are not based on one's claims experience; the company can increase and or reduce rates dependant on how much they want to fill their pockets.

We attempted on numerous occasions, during the course of the last few years, to negotiate the rates to a more reasonable amount, yet on each attempt we were told nothing would be done. Each time you speak to these guys it's like you owe them and not the opposite way round. They must have a waiting list of customers!

A recent hire for a Vauxhall Insignia cost £46.33 for the day!

The company forces you to purchase, on each hire, an excess waiver.

The excess waiver cost is £2.50 per day and is simply another product owned by this company. The logic behind forcing the purchase of an excess waiver is beyond any reasonable person.

If someone decides to purchase an excess waiver, to reduce their excess liability, or wishes to pay the excess in the event of an accident; it is solely their decision. It is well known within the hire industry that selling an excess waiver policy to a customer will make you more money than not. Insurecarhire is doing the same- yet the companies it forces to purchase this product are well aware of the profitability behind its forced sale.

There is a lot more that we could say about this company, nothing is made up or exaggerated, we have proof via print-screens directly from our hire website login and email exchange with members of the company.

Click on 1 star ratings and have a look for yourself. Customers who have experienced this company are all talking about the same reality.

It is unfortunate that our custom with this company is coming to an end, we vetted the hires over and beyond, protected the policy and retained a NIL Claims experience. Yet we paid a hefty price!

IN RESPONSE TO INSURECARHIRE:

- Our account has previously been closed without prior warning. Reviews on TrustPilot are evident of this having occurred with others.
- Our rates increased some months after beginning trading with you. We had no option but to reduce our trading with you in 2016 as the rates had nearly doubled compared to what had originally been quoted.
- We called you in 2017 to discuss the extortionate rates, your response "nothing you would do"- how would you expect us to trade with you at £35 per day on a Vauxhall Corsa!?
- We emailed you in June 2016 asking why the excess waiver had been included on all hires. to which you responded: "I can take it out again for you but the standard rate would increase.". Why would the rate increase if the excess waiver is excluded?! The profit margins for your company would be affected, your sister company would not benefit!

Following a bad review, you cannot go amending claims experiences just so it will help you make a point?! We have a print screen of our claims experience from your website, last night showing a £0.00 claims experience. Moments before your response to our review, you amended the claims experience to show a £101.40 claim!!

A claim was submitted by a Third Party for an alleged accident in June 2016- for your information we instructed Solicitors to defend this matter and the case was closed without the insurers paying anything! You had closed the matter as a £0.00 value claim, yet following our review on this website, you have now amended the claims history and inserted a claim value of a petty £101.40- what are these charges? an addition to your inflated and exaggerated charges? or are you hoping this will make it difficult for us to obtain insurance?

In response to invalidating cover, a petty broker like you who is only interested in profit cannot advise us on matters relating to insurance indemnity; stick to what you know!

We hope any reasonable person reading these reviews will understand the level of incompetence you're dealing with or about to deal with.

Read the other negative reviews- they all complain about the same issue.

They are offering a discount rate to sign up but increased the Daily rate significantly, group A 13.81 per day.

I would like to recommend this company because its a great service, staff always available to help your every need.
Easy access to log in site, easy to use of entering details into the data base and lots of information documents to help ensure correct use.

Very easy to use and a good service. I thought they closed at weekends but they are open saturdays until midday which is ok.
