A Note From the Founder:
I founded Inessa as a nutrition and functional medicine clinic back in 2009.
As the clinic grew, there was one thing that really stood out to me; that quality nutritional supplements could be incredibly effective, and when used alongside a healthy diet, could dramatically improve a person's health.
This was something I had experienced for myself, after being diagnosed with a lifelong autoimmune condition in 2001. The prescribed medication made my hair fall out among other side effects, but didn’t improve my symptoms and so the recommended next step would be to undergo life changing surgery.
At that time, the importance of nutrition and diet was not as well understood as it is today, but as it was a disease of the digestive tract, I felt there had to be something there. Determined to find a solution, and still being monitored by my medical team, I started researching and self-testing to find a way to fix my health.
A year later I was confirmed in remission - a combination of diet & supplements had fixed me where drugs had failed. My medical consultants assured me my remission was temporary (I was given an estimate of a year to relapse), but it is over two decades on, and I have not had to take immunosuppressant drugs since.
Later, as a qualified nutrition professional, I noted that there was no shortage of practitioner brands creating quality, science-based products. Many of these products are not available on the high street - in order to gain access, you’d often have to see a nutrition professional, which not everyone can afford. I also observed that across the industry as a whole, customers would take multiple products to achieve the nutrient combinations and results they desired - this was not only impractical, but also horribly expensive.
Additionally, there were so many supplements out there, how was the average consumer meant to know what to choose?
So I decided to create my own products, searching out the UK’s leading product developers, laboratories and researchers to work with me to create a streamlined range which makes no compromises on quality or effectiveness. At Inessa, we create clinical grade products, and make them available direct to you, at high street prices.
Over the years, our Essentials Range has garnered a devoted following (we love the many messages we receive from customers from all over the world!) and we continue to roll out more targeted products for specific wellness needs. These are the products that I wish had been around when I was in practice.
We believe our Advanced Multivitamin with 100mg CoQ10 to be the most effective once daily complex in the market - it replaces many of the products that practitioners often suggest to support various health concerns. It was a very proud moment for the Inessa team to have been UK Amazon's bestselling multivitamin throughout the peak of the pandemic, and by way of thanking our customers for their trust, we used the extra profits we made throughout that period to fund meals for NHS staff who were working around the clock. Inessa is honoured to partner with the charity Think Through Nutrition, who do incredible work, and in addition to monetary contributions, we provide access to our technical platforms and formulation and production facilities, as required, to support their programmes.
Because of our clinical roots and the fact that we are independently owned, we put health above prioritising company growth and profits, so we never cut corners in our offerings. If you've ever dealt directly with myself or one of our wonderful team, you'll already know that we never try and sell anything that isn't right for you, and are happy to recommend products from other companies if we feel that what we offer isn't the best choice for your needs.
We are constantly looking for ways to improve our formulations as new research emerges, however, health is about so much more than just supplements. Inessa started life as a clinical practice, so the next few months will see us come full circle and we'll be introducing more in depth evidence-based health content, digital functional medicine protocols, and more personalised health and fitness services, for a 360 degree approach to health and wellness.

Inessa supplements are the best I've tried. I have been taking them for 2 years, and find them really effective and manageable; basically they do what they 'say on the tin' ie They really help with some of the annoying side-effects of being a perimenopausal mum in her 50's (wanting to feel more like she's still in ther 30's !)

I’ve been using supplements for nearly a decade due to my autoimmune disease, and this is the first brand where I’ve genuinely felt a difference. I started 3 months ago with Magnesium and by night two my sleep was finally deep and restful. Adding Relax + Calm made it even better! I later tried the Multivitamin (I love that includes CoQ10) and my energy has noticeably improved... I even feel like I’m getting fewer colds.
When a product truly delivers, I feel compelled to spread the word . Thank you, I’m officially a fan!

Pregnancy vitamins
I have been using the pregnancy vitamins, and calcium and magnesium. The supplements have kept me healthy through pregnancy and breastfeeding, I was particularly impressed that after a quite large amount of blood loss giving birth my iron levels quickly came back to normal with these. The subscription service is easy to alter if needed. Would definitely recommend!

Don’t subscribe if you don’t want to keep it going forever
Worst subscription service ever! Cancelling is simply not an option. It’s been months I’m trying to cancel but I can only skip. Customer service has never replied to my email, I really don’t know what to do.

Great Customer Service
I use their Magnesium and Omega 3 Oil and have had no issues. Prompt customer service response when one item was missing from my delivery. The item was sent out a couple of days later and there was regular and reassuring contact from their customer service team. I am very happy to keep ordering from them.

Don’t trust the reviews on here!
I read the reviews on truspilot after purchasing and I was very worried about whether I would receive a refund on my order, as I had to return it because I ordered the wrong thing. Lots of people on here had said they had never received any reply from Inessa when asking for a return and refund so I was very worried! I can state this is definitely not the case! I raised my concerns to the customer service team via their contact form and they replied to me very quickly and refunded my order straight away.
They also explained that the reviews on trustpilot aren’t verified, so it’s definitely worth bearing in mind before you make your decision. The review request from the website are sent out after purchase as well so they aren’t fake ones as I was sent one too.
I thought it would be worth writing a review of my positive experience as a lot of these reviews seem a bit over the top with the negativity !

They never respond. AVOID!!
I have email the only email address on their website for customer support over 10 times now and over 5 weeks. I have had NO response at all. There is no other way to contact them but in the one email they provide that they don’t respond to. All the products I have received are dry poor quality. Avoid. They will never respond to you.
