The assistant was excellent but he was working on his own and it was busy. £8 to wash a car is expensive.

Wheels needed more to get brake dust out, looked ike a tide mark just inside the rim.

100% reliable service. Staff are great and literally never stop in this very busy car wash!!

I wanted to write this review due to how incredibly amazing two certain people are who run this drive through cleaning service for our vehicles. Ian is an incredibly welcoming man who has a heart of gold and holds a smile that instantly makes you feel so welcomed even on the harder days. “Spud” his brother who is known by this nickname is also an absolute asset to the company quick to help, clean and recommends what he thinks is best suited for your car . If you are wanting to get your car cleaned please go here. They are there day in day out wind rain or sunshine everytime I drive by doing there best to give your cars a fantastic clean but also provide some of the nicest customer service I have ever seen in my 25 years of being here . I wanted to write this review because everyone needs to know how incredibly hard working and resilient they are. I could go on and on with 10000x positive things to say truly. Thank you to the pair of you for simply being you.

All good till got home and noticed the windows and body of car had white left on i was not happy as it looked worse than it did before wash.

Worked well. The guy was helpful and friendly. One observation is that the equipment is looking a bit tired but still does the job.

Not the first time ( I complained last time and got a refund) when I inspected my car at home it was still covered in dirty marks across the boot, the front grill was filthy and side windows were dirty completely dissatisfied.. at present i don’t intend to use you’s again rather go to a hand wash company

Ive been a monthly subscription customer for quite a few years now. I use the wash several times a month, my family also use this site regularly. The two brothers that run the site (Ian and Adrian) are friendly and polite coupled with a great wash i wouldn't go anywhere else. 100% recommend, especially with the good discounted offers you get for subscribing.

I’ve been using IMO Hartlepool for a long time now, and the quality of service has always been 2nd to none.
Always greeted with a welcoming smile and friendly interaction from Ian and Adrian, and never fail to provide a professional service.

I always use this car wash and I always find the operatives pleasant. They guide you through the process which is easy to follow, the condition of my car is always spot on.
The quick pay system and app are very easy to use. Its obviously very popular as you generally have to queue but its worth the wait.

: Appalling Owner Conduct – Other Staff Excellent

I have been a loyal IMO Car Wash customer for around 10 years, but my recent experience at this site was extremely upsetting due to the owner’s aggressive and unprofessional behaviour.

During my visit:
• The owner spoke to me in a condescending, patronising, and intimidating tone, even though there was no queue and I was paying for the service.
• He told me to use a different hoover, giving the impression I was being singled out unfairly. I chose not to use it because of the way he treated me.
• I felt watched, pressured, and very uncomfortable, simply for using a paid service.
• After I tried to respond calmly, I was told: “Make this your last wash”, effectively banning me without justification.

In contrast, the other staff at this location are friendly, helpful, and professional, and make the experience pleasant. This stark difference makes the owner’s behaviour even more unacceptable.

Reviews from other customers echo this pattern, describing the owner as rude, arrogant, abrasive, and dismissive, with complaints sometimes ignored entirely. There is also no effective way to contact IMO directly, which is very frustrating.

I cannot recommend this site under the owner’s management and urge IMO to investigate this conduct and ensure customers are treated respectfully.

First time used these yesterday, I found the attendant abrupt, I did the quick pay link (which was easy) the car rolled forward and the attendant had a nibble about waiting at the stop sign, then as we entered the machine the attendant pointed at the instruction screen but I didn’t get time to read it before he knocked on window to tell me I had done something wrong (elec car put parking break on when I needed to be be in neutral)

The price was fair and results were good but I don’t think I’ll use them again
