Booked an appointment and drove down from Gateshead car was available on arrival for viewing.
Greeted by Daniel who was very helpful and friendly and offered me a very fair and good trade in deal that I was happy to accept. One hour later driving home in my new car.

Great customer service
I bought a Fiesta ST from this place last month and it has been running sweet ever since purchase. I got a courtesy call from Danielle two weeks after the purchase to see how the car was and I really cannot fault it. Staff were polite and had a shock when I wanted to take the car that very same day and started rushing around to help me purchase the vehicle. I cannot fault the service at all... very quick, straight to the point, got my car within days and all expectancy set was met which is great customer service. Cheers guys!

I bought a mercedes from here 2 and…
I bought a mercedes from here 2 and half years ago and had nothing but problems with it since I bought it. It was already in the garage having to have repairs before I got it. There has been nothing but problems since the day I got it and they have refused to help and responsibilities with it. Very rude and ignorant sales men. I wouldnt recommend you come here for a car. Absolute joke of a place.

I'd give 0 starts if there was an…
I'd give 0 starts if there was an option for it!!! They've made my life hell in the past 3months. I have bought a ds3 from them ( on finance, thank god for that) on 20th of November. 4year old car advertised with low mileage and great condition. As soon as I had the car delivered, the driver told me that the parking sensors are not working, but I don't have to worry as the dealer is aware of it, and it's a minor problem what can be fixed it 20 minutes. The car was delivered at 8pm in pitch black which assured I couldn't carry out a test drive or an inspection of the vehicle.
The next morning I had the long waited drive of my first ever car, only to discover multiple issues with it (city brake not working and the main computer switching on and off every 2-3 minutes ( I am not exaggerating) and displaying different minor faults all the time, and there was no full service history either as they claimed in their advert.To cut long story short the dealer didn't admit to the issue,they were keep telling me lies about ordering parts and getting appointment booked . I had an independent mechanic carrying out an inspection to prove to them that the car is faulty. Obviously the report supported my claims. Still no help from them, warranty is not a thing there, communication is so bad, customer service is awful.
3 months later I got rid of the car with the help of the finance company. Just before the car was taken from me ( I never really used car) I had received a Safety Recall letter from Citroen claiming that the car needs an urgent update which will be done by the them for free of charge, I think that proves my point.
Horrible first car experience! AVOID THIS PLACE!!!

We are sorry to hear you are unhappy, however unfortunately your claims are not remotely correct. You arranged to have the car delivered through YOUR OWN delivery company. It is their responsibility to check the car when they collect it, which they did and signed to confirm the car was as described and had no faults and worked as it should - all of which happened in daylight. You subsequently had a parking sensor fail (a £10 part) and the screen began resetting itself which was diagnosed as a simple software update. We offered to cover this under warranty and booked you into a local garage. Both ourselves and the garage tried to contact you when you failed to turn up but you ignored both of our calls and would not speak to us. You then contacted the finance company to reject the car. We asked you to return the car do we could inspect it to establish the faults and you refused to do so. The car also was exactly as described with history. You refused to communicate with us. The independent report stated exactly what we said, the parking sensor was faulty and the stereo required a software update, which we offered to do for free but you refused. It also stated you could not reject the car and it should be repaired - which we tried to do!!! We literally have your text messages and booked appointments as proud that we arranged to help and you then simply stopped answering our calls and messages. Quite simply you changed your mind about wanting the car and tried to find a way to get out of it but refused to return it to us!!!
Terrible customer service
Terrible customer service. Firstly, I was made to pay in full for a car that I had never seen ‘because of COVID’ then they were inflexible on times I could collect the car. On the night I was picking up the car they were late arriving. There were scratches all over the car like someone had keyed it. Credit where credit is due, they sorted that and delivered it the next day. The car itself is nice and I’m happy with it. However, the parcel shelf in the photos is not in my car I told them this around 2 days after I bought it. It’s been around a month of me chasing them calling and texting and I’ve been lied to about having it ordered. They told me it had been ordered and when asking for confirmation the date on it was around a week ago, days after they told me it was ordered. All I get is ignored, passed around or blatant lies. All I want is a parcel shelf. Customer service is a very important thing, and Ideal car centre have some of the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced

Whilst we are sorry to hear you are unhappy, I feel we need to describe the true version of events here. Firstly, I am the owner and you have never dealt with me or spoken to me, you have dealt with 2 salesmen and were very rude, which explains your attempts at insulting them on here. Secondly, you viewed the car twice prior to arranging a 3rd visit, and each time you complained about the price, explained the car was for your partner who was not with you and told us she wanted a white one not a black one. You also wanted £1,500 over the guide price for your part exchange, wanted to drive the car without your partner present, go away and think about it, then come back with your partner and drive it again, only to go away and think about it again, as she really wanted a white one. We explained to you that due to the current lockdown we were not supposed to carry our test drives, but would make exceptions for people who wanted to buy the car and were happy with the car and figures and prepared to leave £1,000 deposit after the drive if the car drove as it should, but obviously we have to be more careful and limit this to ensure the safety of our staff and customers at present, therefore we cannot allow people to just drive a car for the sake of it. You stated on every occasion you were not ready to buy the car. You finally made an appointment to view the car with your partner and were told that we already had 2 other appointments on the car that day and lots of other interest. You were offered the opportunity to buy the car several times and declined each time. What then happened is someone came for their appointment before you, saw the car and agreed to buy it as long as it drove as it should, which it did and he bought it. We rang you before your appointment time to inform you of this. Again, whilst we are sorry you are unhappy, the truth is you had several opportunities to buy the car and declined despite being warned someone else would buy it, and you have only left a bad review as someone else bought it before you. I would advise you not to take over 2 weeks to decide to buy a car next time as they sell quickly when prices as well as our car

Asked to book a test drive as they gave that as an option on a £9,000 car. They replied saying they couldn’t give one. We then replied saying okay no worries if we want it (travelling 80miles plus one way), then we will get back to you as it’s a big commitment driving that far without a test drive being possible, then an arsey review by a male was given saying we should have never messaged if we didn’t want it. Very interested in the car however not willing to spend that without a test drive(which is now possible under guidelines).
Even if we wanted this car we wouldn’t buy it from them, not giving them the cash £9000. Your loss mate, get some good and polite customer service and maybe you would be more successful

Whilst we are sorry to hear you are unhappy, having reviewed your emails and the response, I am unclear as to the reason for your unhappiness. You attempted to book a test drive for Friday (to under the name 'Sam') which we informed you we could not currently book test drives due to the extra lockdown in Manchester and social distancing precautions, but offered you the opportunity to book an appointment to view the car. You seemed to take offence at this and pointed out you were driving another car the next day anyway and that car was your preference. We simply suggested that if the other car was your preference it was pointless booking an appointment on our car until after you had viewed that and decided if you wanted that car or ours. Your response was then very rude and aggressive and you have now left a bad review in a different name. Once again, I fail to see any issue with our response. We are currently trying to limit customer contact to protect both staff and customers and as such have limited appointments. There was no point booking an appointment for you until it was certain you would turn up instead of buying the other car, as another potential customer could use that appointment as they are extremely limited and book up fast. We simply tried to point this out to you politely and suggest you book your appointment after driving the other car which was your first choice and you were driving before the appointment to view ours anyway. Not only that, we replied to your email sent at 9pm at night within only minutes trying to be helpful. We are more than happy to put transcripts of the email exchange up on here to show were tried to be polite and helpful and your response was rude and abrupt. Good luck in your purchase of a car, however we feel it best you do not visit our site as you seem to have no comprehension or acceptance of the current limitations due to Coronavirus and are happy to put our staff at risk unnecessarily which we are unwilling to do. We have just had another conversation with another customer asking exactly the same thing, who was happy to book an appointment to view the car first.
Nissan Juke
After written my Ds3 off due to accident, I was looking for Nissan Juke. Found my new car at Ideal Car Center Preston. Lee couldn’t have been more helpful, delivered my car to my door, taxed it sent log book of. I’m a Home Carer and needed to be back on the road quickly. Lee made sure I was? Can’t thank him enough and service recived brilliant. I bought my car from Ideal Trade Center Preston not IDeal car centre sorry to Lee for the confusion.

Brought a car from Andy and I can say the sale of the car was exactly how I wanted. As I’m based in London Andy sent me loads of pics and videos of the car so on the day of seeing the car and collecting it, it was shown as promised. Transaction took less then a hour and I was back on the way home with the car. Thanks for the car and thanks for the customer service. Would defo buy again from them.

Made a purchase from the Manchester…
Made a purchase from the Manchester branch; a quaint little showroom which is easily accessible from the Manchester ring road. Ran by a team of friendly young lads with a " No pressure " attitude. Taken down the path of my willingness to commit before we were allowed to drive the car but I guess this is there way of filtering out the "timewasters" and I was there to buy so there was no point in hiding the fact. All in all a straightforward experience and Andy the manager made sure that everything was ready in a timely manner.
