We were delighted with both the Cybersecurity & Cryptography and STEMBotics sessions delivered by Hyett Education. Both workshops were exceptionally well planned, interactive, and engaging from start to finish. Every student was fully immersed in the activities, and it was fantastic to see their enthusiasm, curiosity, and willingness to participate throughout.

The facilitators were outstanding. They built an excellent rapport with the students from the outset and went above and beyond to make the experience both educational and memorable. Their passion, professionalism, and ability to adapt the sessions to meet the needs of all learners ensured that every student felt included and challenged appropriately.

The Cybersecurity & Cryptography session introduced complex concepts in an accessible and exciting way, helping students to develop a greater understanding of online safety, digital security, and problem-solving through practical activities. The STEMBotics workshop encouraged creativity, collaboration, resilience, and logical thinking, with students working together to code and solve challenges while developing valuable STEM skills.

The workshops were extremely well organised and ran seamlessly, with clear communication before and during the sessions. The activities complemented our curriculum perfectly and provided students with enriching experiences that extended their learning beyond the classroom. Many students continued discussing the activities afterwards, which is a testament to the impact the sessions had.

We would highly recommend Hyett Education to any school looking to provide high-quality, engaging STEM experiences. We look forward to welcoming the team back in the future for more inspiring workshops.

We were able to have a number of workshops from Hyett Education, all of them run professionally with all the equipment and resources relevant and working. The staff were friendly, supportive and flexible and they worked with the children brilliantly. There was a buzz in school when the team were in and the children loved the offer.

The entire experience was exceptionally well organised from start to finish. Communication before the workshop was clear and timely, making it easy to plan and prepare. The workshop itself was engaging, interactive and pitched at exactly the right level for our students. The instructor was knowledgeable, enthusiastic and excellent at encouraging everyone to participate, regardless of their prior experience.
The activity itself captured students' interest immediately and maintained their engagement throughout. It provided an excellent balance of challenge and achievement, enabling students to develop coding, problem-solving and teamwork skills in a fun and meaningful way. Students particularly enjoyed seeing their code come to life through the drones, which helped them understand the real-world applications of computer science and engineering.
The workshop also supported our curriculum while broadening students' awareness of STEM careers and emerging technologies. It inspired many students to think differently about STEM and increased their confidence in trying something new.
Overall, it was an outstanding experience that had a genuine impact on our students. I would highly recommend the programme to other schools and sincerely hope more schools have the opportunity to benefit from these fantastic workshops.

All students had a wonderful time and thoroughly enjoyed the drone experience. Even those who were not initially confident with programming became fully engaged in the activities. They were enthusiastic and amazed to see how the code they had written controlled the drones and brought them to life.

It was all very well organized and executed.

All of the groups from Y3-Y8 were enthralled by the STEMbotics workshops. The activities were ideally matched to each age and ability group and even those that can struggle with focus at times in the classroom were both interested and engaged in the tasks set.

Excellent prep for each class and more than enough resources for our three large classes taking part in the stembotics workshop. The children of all ages and abilities all absolutely loved the workshop and wanted to learn more, many asking if they could take the resource home!! Antony was a great leader, using known strategies to gain children's attention and ensure listening. He was also able to target some higher achievers and give them a challenge alongside the others.
This is also tied nicely into coding which will later become part of our DT curriculum, so was really useful to watch and be a part of.
It was excellent value for money - only costing £6 per student and we will definitely book another workshop in the future, probably for our upper KS2. Thanks you!

Fantastic day! Both student and staff feedback was really positive. Students were really engaged (even some of our very hardest to reach) and got a lot out of it. Fitted perfectly with our Y8 computing curriculum. It was very professionally run and organised. We felt it was pitched perfectly for students to allow challenge. We will definitely be aiming to book this event again.

Our Y9 students spent 2 hours learning how to code drones using SWIFT coding. By the end of the session students were able to fly drones up, down, right, left, follow flight paths and some were even successful in getting the drones through hoops. Some groups worked together to create a procession. Discussing examples of uses of drones gave real-life context to the experience. Students enjoyed the session immensely and could be heard discussing it later in the day. We also had great feedback from parents after their children related information about the day to then.

It was amazing to see the students so fully engaged in the sessions and creating new pathways. I would highly recommend drone coding with Hyett Education to give students wider opportunities of STEM. We have already booked in for next year.

A fantastic workshop on robotics for our year 6 pupils. Every student was engaged and excited! They got to build their own robot and then programmed it to follow a course. It was really hands-on and interactive. Antony, the instructor, was engaging and flexible. Genuinely one of the best workshops I've experienced! Thank you very much.

Our students had a wonderful day working on problem solving through a range of tasks. All students had great opportunities to talk and share ideas then use practical approaches to engineering and coding. The workshop suited both boys and girls of all ages. The sessions really made some students think about new or different career options.

The workshop was very engaging and pitched very well for my Year 4 class. The children were able to decipher codes and solve the challenge. They were so excited when they unlocked the safe! Instructors were very calm, explained clearly and had great behaviour management skills. I would highly recommend this workshop.

Our students engaged really well with this workshop, largely because it was so hands-on, especially the opportunity to fly the drones. The combination of coding and flying truly inspired our younger students and helped them realise that STEM is exciting and accessible.The workshop was very well run, and we would happily book again.

A cracking set of workshops on robotics. They gave our children access to experiences that are very difficult to provide otherwise. The session leader was knowledgeable and engaging. Fantastic!
