The salesman made my husband and myself feel comfortable and at ease. He never pushed to make a sale which goes along way

We found the manageress rude but the assistant who served us was most polite and helpful. Otherwise it would have been 5 star!

I was served by a lovely lady who was knowledgeable and friendly and showed me the 3 items I asked to see and advised me on them making my decision easy, it was a great shopping experience.

Brought a ring on line wasn't right size orderd anther one in the shop after being measured being told I was a size when the ring come it was 2 sizes to small and found out the don't even do my size disappointed now I have to wait a week for refund if I had known about the sizes wouldn't have bothered

Very helpful sales lady helped us when purchasing a replacement engagement ring. I specifically wanted my birthstone and she was brilliant in directing us to the choices available.

Broke my watch strap, visited store and showed assistant. She offered a range of different straps and I went for one that closely resembled the original. Fitted and paid for (while having a pleasant chat ) all within 5-10 minutes. Very happy customer!

Linda was great. Helped us with our wedding rings and, and getting the small size needed for my fiancée. Also lots of advice on gifts for wedding party.

Wanted to buy myself a gold chain for my 50th birthday. Was looking to spend up to £1k. My partner and I went to Warren James first in the fleet Street branch, Torquay. I wanted to try a chain on to see how it looked and was told I'd have to pay for it first before I could try it on! Needless to say I didn't bother. Went to H Samuels and saw a chain I liked, the assistant manager was really helpful and professional. Made us feel completely at ease unlike Warren James! And for that reason I bought that chain. She was lovely and a credit to the store. Sorry I can't remember her name but I would buy there again

Not particularly impressed with H.Samuel. I ordered a watch into the Torquay store and was given a collection date in my confirmation email. I was expecting it on this day and made plans to collect. Unfortunately the watch was put into the internal mail for the shop and not sent via normal delivery service. I can only assume this is a cost cutting measure. Either way someone had to collect the watch for me, I requested a link to be taken out as I knew the size of my wrist and the size of watch. The store worker was persistent with my friend that I would not need the link taken out to the point where it seemed like the worker was just refusing to do it because he didn't know how. Upon returning to get it taken out all shop staff were completely disinterested and I didn't feel welcome in the slightest. Not much more to say.

Bought a watch,took it home,did not work work ....returned & the battery had gone! Man put new battery in.
Realized when got home that he had scratched all the back up.

Asked the gentleman to look at two items and was straight on it, I was a bit concerned it may be to small for mydaughter so he said I could try it on as my bracelet fitted her, was just the right size and brought it. The gentleman was really nice and so helpful thank you
