H.Samuel - Staffs Omdömen 

Jen of H.Samuel Jewellers in Colchester went to the `enth` degree to ensure I understood my new watch, a Sekonda, how it functioned etc etc.
So many thanks to Jen, welcoming and personable. I promised her I would write a review, here it is, unfortunately I could not find a way of sending directly to H Samuel, but, will give it one more go!

Excellent customer service

I recently went to the tamworth branch to buy my husband and watch the manager Kirby was excellent, friendly and very knowledgeable about their products and helped us to purchase a very special watch

Really unpleasant experience at this store. My partner ordered me and eternity ring online and the amethyst stone fell out - no damage to the claw. I travelled from Shirley to Tamworth to resolve and the ring was replaced with the same style and ordered and I received it 2 days later. Again the same stone fell out - so I returned it to store and was given a discount on a more expensive eternity ring - different style. Within 2 weeks a diamond had fallen out an a claw snapped - I have no idea how it’s happened as I haven’t bashed it. But my thoughts were it should withstand some durability. I traveled all the way back to store to explain what had happened and I was spoken to like sh#t by a member of sales staff. She told me she wouldn’t help me as she doesn’t want to loose her job and I’d have to wait for the manager to return. When I saw the manager she told me the ring was damaged by me and I would probably have to pay for a repair. The ring has been taken off me and sent off to be examined to investigate the cause of the diamond falling out. The member of floor staff was really cocky and when we stated we would make a complaint she was really loud and smiled at us and said please take my full name and use it. She wrote it down for us and muttered under her breath - really aggravating my partner and made me feel anxious - even my daughter of 10 left the store because she felt the women was being ‘angry’ with us. I’m hoping to get a refund and we will go somewhere else. Wasted hours of travel and petrol and have spent more time without a ring than I’ve actually been able to wear it. Disappointed

My 9 year old wanted his Ear pierced. Seen reccomendations about Kirby on Facebook. So we went to try and Kirby did not disappoint, she was fantastic from start to finish. Explained to my son the whole process which calmed his nerves and was quick and easy. Definitely reccomend Kirby to everyone who wants their ears pierced

Took a Ted Baker watch in for a new battery. The most miserable person said in the most off putting manner that she was not prepared to do it in store and would need to send it away. I took it to a local market trader who fitted a new battery in a few minutes. No wonder the store was empty if that’s their attitude.

A very enjoyable experience.
Our visit to the Tamworth Branch of Samuel's was a pleasurable time well spent. Amanda helped me to choose a Citizen watch and 2 items of jewellery for my wife. My watch was made to fit perfectly with time set to use. My wife chose an eternity ring with help from Amanda who carefully selected one to join and embrace existing multiple stonering perfectly.
All this was achieved at a very favourable purchase price.
We also had fun chatting to Amanda and staff for a totally enjoyable purchase experience.

Great friendly staff, brought citizen watch, they took link out so it fitted fine on my arm. Went above and beyond, good price too. Would recommend a visit if looking for lovely experience. Amanda and kirby were lovely friendly staff..

I took my Citizen watch to H Samuel in Tamworth over 1 month ago to get a link supplied & fitted. The staff seemed very friendly & helpful & told me that they will contact me within 10 to 14 days to come & have the link fitted.
I'm still waiting for them to contact me, what a waste of time, never again.

When collecting my order from Tamworth store, the staff were so courteous and the diamond ring was even better than it appeared on screen. Really impressed with the order process and in-store service.

I cannot thank Amanda enough at the Tamworth branch. She went above and beyond to help us exchange our wedding rings and get them both in store within 5 days for our wedding on the Saturday.

Lovely place, clean with a great range or products and helpful staff! The staff helped me pick an item which made me sure I was getting the right thing. A special thanks to Amanda for being sooooo helpful!
