H.Samuel - Neath Omdömen 12

Called in just for a look, was approached by Lynn, very courteous and listened to me trying to explain what I was looking for. Very knowledgeable and a lovely manner. No sales pressure and felt I was talking with a friend! Very happy with my purchases and so are my daughters!! I shall return, thank you Lynn!!

I have been shopping at H. Samuels since I was a child. I used to buy ornaments for my grandparents (long gone now) much to their delight at Christmas or for birthdays. As big a firm as they are, H Samuels has always catered their gifts for young and old and somewhere in between.
I recently had reason to take two rings back to H. Samuels in Neath. I gave my reasons for requesting them to be given back and the manager asked me some questions and agreed to their return.
The staff were attentive and understanding as well as helpful and obliging.
More retailers should adopt this approach when dealing with returns, customers would really appreciate it. I know I did.
So thank you to the A/manager at Neath and her very efficient assistant. I shall be shopping there again!

Not good.
Bought a watch recently online. Which, within a week, the strap popped off. Due to a faulty pin were my initial thoughts. However, upon taking the watch to a watch specialist, I was advised that the strap fitted was the wrong size. Hmmm. I took the watch back to a store as advised via online chat, where they said "it looks fine to us". They did, however, send it back. It returned a fortnight later and although the straps and indeed been changed, they were still not up to the task. As the exact same thing happened when I gently tugged at strap in the shop. The watch went back again, only to return about a week later with no difference. As I was unhappy with this, I asked for a refund. I was told I couldn't be refunded as the watch is not in "as new" condition. (Slight damage caused due to the initial failure of the strap) I explained that the damage was not my fault, but the fault of the manufacturer as it was fitted with the wrong strap to begin with. My pleas fell on deaf ears. So, in summary, I'm now the proud owner of a watch which, while looks good, I'm afraid to wear Incase the strap goes again. Not great service really.

Initially one star, but helpful aftersales service gained an extra two. A shame this issue couldn't have been resolved on the shop floor.

The service I received was excellent. The staff were very helpful and knowledgeable.will definitely recommend to friends and family.

Seen my g shock casio watch online at a much cheaper price than h samuel, so I went to my local shop pointed out the watch to them a lovely lady explained everything about the match and they even did a price match for me so I bought the item there and then, I would recommend h samuel to anyone and I will certainly go back there when I need another jewellery item.
