H.Samuel - Mansfield Omdömen 

Looking for a watch for my wife's birthday, the assistant was very knowledgeable and helpful, offering good advice and insight. My wife tried on several watches before deciding, we never felt hurried. The watch strap was too large and again no hurry or pressure when links were taken out and then one put back in for the perfect fit , we were also told to come back if ever the size needed further adjustment. Would definitely recommend

I am extremely disappointed with my experience with H. Samuel.

My engagement ring was purchased in autumn 2022 and resized by H. Samuel in May 2024. Since that resizing, the ring has lost three diamonds. When I took it back to the store, staff confirmed that the claws were stretched, likely because the ring had been resized smaller than was appropriate for the design.

Despite this, after an “investigation” the fault has now been dismissed as “accidental damage due to high impact”. This explanation is frankly insulting. I work a desk-based job, do not do manual labour while wearing my ring, and I always remove it for any activities that could put it at risk.

I’ve since learned that many other customers have been given the same “high impact damage” explanation, which makes this feel like a convenient excuse rather than a genuine assessment.

To add insult to injury, I have been quoted £200 for a repair on a ring that was made faulty due to excessive resizing carried out by H. Samuel themselves. This is not wear and tear, and it is not accidental damage – it is a structural issue caused by poor workmanship or poor advice.

We are now being completely fobbed off, and I have lost all trust in the brand. I would strongly caution anyone considering purchasing or resizing an important piece of jewellery here to think twice.

We shopped at H Samuel store in Mansfield, Nottinghamshire in the Four Seasons Shopping Mall. What a delightful experience. We bought a diamond ring for my partner. The sales assistant was very helpful and was patient when my partner was making up her mind. Unfortunately the ring was too tight so we went back and had no problem exchanging it for the correct size. However as there was no stock of the right size it needed to be ordered and sent to us at home.
Although I had paid for the ring the H Samuel customer service refused to discuss the issue with me as I was not listed on the receipt which I had made out in my partner name. (The old data protection rubbish).
I telephoned the Mansfield branch who again were more than helpful. They provided me with the tracking number and delivery time slot.
Well done Mansfield. Pity about miserable customer service.

As we entered the shop we asked about a ring adjustment as I got it a week ago, the staff was more bothered about finishing there conversation, she pulled a face at us and said to each other " who's taking this one then" which was very very rude!

We ordered a ring (which was for a pressent) on Sunday the 20th June and was told it would be with us by Wednesday 23rd delivered by Royal Mail. The ring wasn't sent to be dispatched until Friday 25th for DX Saturday delivery and wasn't delivered until Monday 28th 5 days later than expected.

Amazing customer service, prompt service and friendly staff.

Great service just a shame I never got to wear the earrings, I lost them on the way home.. 😒

I was torn between 2 rings which my husband was buying me for our 40th Anniversary. The young assistant was very helpful and patient with me and helped guide me to the beautiful ring I chose

Excellent customer service helping my husband to be size for a wedding ring. Sadly that finger has been broken and odd shaped so the first ring had to be changed, but they helped very well.

First time back in branch since none essential retail was allowed to re open, and upon purchase of Bulova watch was given an extra discount for being a regular customer as a welcome back.
