H.Samuel - Brighton Omdömen 

Very disappointed with my experience at the H.Samuel Brighton Churchill Square store.

I purchased a watch and returned returned to the store a few days later after only briefly trying it on to check appearance. Having not worn it outiside of tring it on the store refused the return, claiming the watch had been scrtched. 

I explained that the watch had only been lightly handled in the same way customers try on watches in-store before buying, but staff were unwilling to properly discuss the issue and simply told me to contact customer services.

This has left me feeling very scammed and im now attempting to claim back through my credit card company.

Excellent service very polite helpful and professional staff mainly Karis & Conor and lovely manager lady.

My daughter had her ears pierced with a lovely member of staff named Caitlin recently at the Brighton branch. We really enjoyed our experience in the shop and Caitlin made everything very pleasant for my daughter. She explained what was going to happen very clearly and she had a really nice way of interacting with us making us feel reassured about the piercing. My daughter is 14 and was having her 3rds pierced. She choose a nice birth stone from the collection and the whole process was very professional and painless for her. We wanted to leave a review to let others know that H Samuel do ear piercing for all ages as previously to this we used to visit Claires Accessories but as they are closing down I looked for somewhere else. I would highly recommend H Samuel. Excellent service from Caitlin

Fabulous customer service. Any questions answered. Given plenty of time. Not rushed on to when you walk in but know you can ask for help at any time. When item picked it’s shown fully to you also to try on ( unless earrings). Chris is super, always helpful and patient with a smile as also are other members of staff.

Having purchased an sports watch in clearance, the staff member did not make it clear that clearance items are exchangeable only and so when I realised later that day that the item wasn’t compatible with what I needed it for, I immediately returned to the store to be told I could only exchange it. When I questioned why I wasn’t told this when I purchased it, they said it is made clear on the website, however I had no reason to go into the website as I was in store?? I asked if they would instead issue a credit note for the item and they refused saying it could only be exchanged, even though the receipt clearly says clearance items can be exchanged or a credit given. The customer service here is just awful as is the head office who when I queried this with said that it is down to the individual store as to whether they offer a credit or not. This should not be so if it states it on the receipt. Once I have exchanged the watch for an item I probably don’t want, I will never be returning to an H Samuel again to make a purchase.

My daughter had her ears pierced at H.Samuel Brighton yesterday. A gentleman called Chris did it. He was kind, reassuring, knowledgeable and nothing was too much effort. I would highly recommend the service. Great value for money also.

Piercing service by Jason was professional. He didn’t rush with selection of earring or actual piercing. Excellent customer service. Nice that there was a quiet discreet area at back of shop to do piercing and pricing was reasonably priced.

Easy simple process and beautiful friendly Women!!

I purchased admittedly a cheap £30 casio watch which the pin in the buckle to fasten it keeps going to the otherside of the buckle (difficult to explain) so it will not fasten . They keep saying they have never had this problem before and when i said they r like the post office continually saying they have never had this problem before so i am just putting it out there to check . And she turned into a real bully when i said it!!!

The most fantastic service from Kerri Oliver at your Brighton shop. So professional, so friendly, great advice and excellent customer service. It was our pleasure to buy my wedding ring from Kerri. Highly recommend this shop and Kerri’s wonderful personality :)

My husband bought me a beautiful diamond ring for our 25th wedding anniversary. We were visiting Brighton for a couple of nights and popped into H Samuel. We were met by a manager called Kerri, who has gone above and beyond to get me the ring that I wanted. Kerri was not only professional, but also kind, friendly and very approachable, answering all our questions about the different rings. I have looked at all the jewellers for a couple of months and still could not commit on the day, due to the uncertainty of spending so much money. However, on our return home, I realised that the ring was just what I was looking for and I phoned Kerri. She immediately jumped into action, organising a secure invoice to be emailed to us and on payment, she had the exact ring couriered to our home. My husband and I couldn’t afford an engagement ring all those years ago, but now bringing up our three wonderful children and both retiring as police officers, I have finally got my engagement ring, as a 25th wedding anniversary gift from the best husband a wife could have. Thank you Kerri, you made the experience all the more special.

Really great experience getting my ears pierced. Lucy was clearly very experienced and made me feel at ease. I hope your name was Lucy I think it was.

We purchased a seven diamond ring fromH Samuel in November 2022 which I wore occasionally.On Christmas eve 2023 I wore it out for a meal. When I got home one of the diamonds was missing.I took it back to the store and was told I must have knocked it for it to come out.I don’t believe I did .The repair estimate from H Samuel was £ 410.00 which seems excessive when we only paid £559.00 reduced from £750.00.On their consumer rights declaration they claim 6 years life on products so 14 months falls far short of that . I wouldn’t recommend purchasing buying from H Samuel as I am still trying to resolve the problem.

I bought a watch from H samuel, the woman that served me, kerri at the Brighton branch, could not have been more helpful. Informing specific details regarding pros and cons whilst I was deciding between watches, ie solar or not, battery life and potential battery replacement costs. Very friendly and made me feel valued as a customer, will definitely head back for my next one!

I am very pleased with my ring purchase it was just what I had been looking for, the young lady Kerri from Brighton store was very helpful and attentive my ring size was not available so she arranged to have it delivered to my home so very good service.

I went to Brighton store today to buy a necklace and some earrings for my wife’s birthday.i was served by a very polite and helpful young lady called Libby she was extremely helpful and polite and very professional..i also bought a watch and was served by a polite young man called Romeo he also was extremely polite and very helpful and professional both great asset to your company.

Had my ears pierced at H Samuels today hadn't been to the store before, but from the first encounter the staff were incredibly engaging, polite and efficient. Came out delighted and a shout out to Emily who was so pleasant and made the experience a really good one. Best store staff I've seen in a long while, awesome H Samuel Brighton !

Needed some links removed from a watch I haven't worn in a long time. Romeo was very helpful and efficient. Great customer service.
