Howdens - Scarborough Omdömen 75

I have been using howdens scarborough for years now and I have always had great experiences with them. Darren and Mark the designers are brilliant and the counter staff/warehouse are friendly and efficient. Would recommend them definitely

Salesman Mark Jackson was excellent in helping and planning our new kitchen. Very polite throughout all our contact with him. Our new kitchen is perfect and better than we could have imagined. Extremely pleased with Mark and Howdens.

I had Mark visit to measure and design a kitchen from me, and the whole process from start to finish was easy. He designed a beautiful kitchen, which other than minor tweaks was absolutely perfect from the start. It was supplied a week later, with totally understandable minor issues with such a large and complex order, which were fixed immediately with no issues. Support throughout via email and in person has been outstanding, with a breadth of knowledge of the products, their parts and installation. I cannot fault the product or service at all, and would recommend Mark and his colleagues at Howdens Scarborough to anyone in the area considering such work. Thanks again!

From the girls behind reception to Nick in the stores, this company is a joy to work with! They can’t do enough for you and are always willing to help, being a new small business owner, this is sometimes what i need!

We’ve used the Scarborough Howdens branch for a lot of our joinery projects at Jack Parke Joinery and the service is always spot on. The team are friendly, knowledgeable and always quick to help with orders, designs and any last-minute bits we need on site. Everything is well organised and they make the whole process easy when you’re working to tight deadlines. Highly recommend them to any trades or anyone doing a kitchen project.

Good customer relations very helpful staff could not help enough

Mark Jackson the designer did a superb job and Lee, the fitter and his team were all excellent and completed the job carefully and on time. We have no hesitation in recommending Howdens to everyone. Unlike other kitchen companies, if something is not quite right it can be sorted out immediately without having to wait ages for parts and fitters to be free - a real bonus. Many thanks to all.

good deal good service - says it all

We had our new kitchen from Howdens.The design was done by Mark Jackson and the fitting done by Lee Drydale. Nothing was too much trouble for them and the finished job is outstanding.Would not hesitate to recommend this company to anyone.

Good staff , got what I wanted , all good

The kitchen itself is of good quality, with only a few missing parts that we were able to just sort from bits in the van instead of going back to the store.

However, Howdens Scarborough used a third party to deliver the kitchen and had next to no interest in dealing with our issues afterwards.

Delivery was complete by 1 person who was unable to get the larger appliances into the house leaving them outside and unsecured until I got home.

Howdens then tried to bill £150 for delivery which was never mentioned to us before hand (which was quickly waived once we brought it up)

However, during delivery our driveway was visibly damaged.

I contacted howdens scarborough, howdens customer service and the delivery driver and no one cared to assist in the matter.

The delivery driver lied about organising a builder and the site manager to arrive 2 weeks from booking, but when the day came no one came or knew about it.

After weeks of contact I managed to get a meeting with a builder and local manager, the builder provided was very fair and agreed with my statements regarding the drive.

The delivery company then offered to pay half of the bill (accepting accountability in my eyes) but the bill was double my quote…

I asked if he would provide me the finances for half his builders invoice and I would get the drive repaired and he refused…

Overall
The quality of product from howdens is good, and my driveway is a rare fluke. But the level of care and follow up is poor if you have a non standard issue.

Well impressed with the neat & tidy condition of nick’s warehouse at the Scarborough branch.service spot on too.

I just want to say a huge thank you to Mick the manager at Scarborough Howdens, I approached him to see if he could donate a small Easter egg for a local charity raffle, without hesitation not only did he agree but he went above all expectations and had a whole box full of artisan handmade chocolate eggs and gifts made especially for the charity. These were mind blowing and took centre stage at the fundraising event, people were buying more tickets just to win these masterpieces. The charity raised more money last year because of Mick and Howdens kindness!!
Not only do they sell kitchens, bedrooms and flooring, they give back to the community too, take a huge pat on the back for this Mick, you are a true legend 🤩
