Standard of material was appalling dirty, filty, carcases and covered in glue residue from assembly. Having to spend time removing glue and cleaning brand new material is wrong maybe the odd bit b... Se mer

The store staff are phenomenal
The store staff are phenomenal. They really know their subject but more importantly they are able to listen to what you need, which isnt always clear interpret that into the products that you need and then charge good prices for fantastic products i will never use another kitchen company again and am about to try the bedroom section. Quality service excellent backup if any problems with products been using for 25 years & will continue if you want cheaper but inferior quality go to B&q you get what you pay for

Dive into the LAKE Howdens for great deals and expert advice
We recently used the Lake branch of Howdens as we have before and they were on-the-ball as ever.
We have purchased kitchens and fittings at several Howdens branches ever since a builder turning an old office into four flats for us told us that professional builders would always use Howdens -a firm we had not then heard of.
Our latest project, the total renovation of a flat in Shanklin, now has a wonderful new kitchen and the agent about to put it on the market said: "The kitchen will sell it."
Please note, it was not the Newport branch but the Lake/Sandown branch we used. The wrong address was automatically inserted.

Extremely well run.
I’ve used several Howdens branches over the past 20 years depending where I’ve been based. I currently direct a small carpentry & joinery company on the Isle of Wight and I have been so impressed with the Howdens Sandown branch. I have felt on repeated occasions that the staff there go beyond what would be considered the normal scope of their work, and feel they care about the jobs we do until their completion, opposed to just wanting the initial sale and then losing interest.
Highly recommend to prospective kitchen buyers, and the trade alike.
