Howdens - Morley Omdömen 

Good service and price

Picked up 4 wall units and doors. Got given a door that had been damaged by a previous customer and send back but didnt get thrown out so it got sold to me. Out of the 3 remaining doors 2 had a big scratch across the front. I went to my branch and out of 3 doors they had in stock to replace mine all 3 were damaged. I then got sent to a different branch and had to go through 7 doors to find 3 that were acceptable. The quality control is absolutely shocking. You pay a premium for a below average product in my opinion.

Another incident was doors a few months ago. The quality of the doors is terrible, huge sticker stuck to the lipping thats a nightmare to remove. The handles were so bad quality they were returned and replaced with screwfix handles which were miles better quality for half the price.

Another incident. I took some newel posts for a job without checking the price, they were £190 each! That was almost twice the price as the same thing from b and q.

Re occurring incidents. We fit kitchens a lot, had over 50 howdens kitchens delivered over the years. There hasnt been 1 single time that the whole kitchen has arrived. Most of the time theres multiple items missing, sometimes full kitchen of wrong colour doors, damaged doors, damaged sinks, wrong size base units, missing all wall units, wrong worktops, damaged worktops, I could go on all day.

Im hope you get message im trying to get across here.
To make matters worse you get pestered and pestered by the staff calling you up asking if you want the bits you have been quoted for and even been threatened that the price ive been given will double if its not booked out on that day.

This is only a handful of examples too i just cant be bothered writing about all the negative experiences ive had over the years.

I would just like to say a massive thank you to Franco for everything he has done for us! Franco has been fantastic from start to finish! He has been patient and professional and has done everything we asked, including make changes to the design to how we wanted it and to keep within our budget, he has also kept in touch and updated us when and where appropriate, he has always got back to us when we have asked questions and made enquiries, I am extremely happy with the high standard of service we have experienced and would like to thank Franco for everything he has done for us. We love our kitchen!

Just want to say a massive thank you to Franco from the Howdens Morley store. Can honestly say the whole process from design to completion has been hassle free. Franco was a delight and he was always so professional and cheery. He helped in the design process by making suggestions and recommendations and was always there to sort out any minor things during installation. He responded very quickly to any questions and provided everything we needed. Would strongly recommend the Howdens Morley branch.

Was trade day and pretty busy I was quickly served and van loaded well done

Danny was always on the other end of the phone when we needed his assistance throughout. The kitchen plans were slow at coming together (due to our own issues with the house), however, Danny remained on hand, and was happy to revisit us at home. Very patient and professional. Thanks for your help - we are very pleased with the results.

I had a terrible experience with IKEA and ended up having to return everything and it took a year to get resolved. I would never recommend.
I worked with Danny at the Morley branch and he was amazing ! Designed everything with extra detail and took the time to explain certain design elements that we hadn't considered. Everything was designed and chosen within a week and I had my kitchen within a month. I could not praise the process or Danny anymore it was everything you need when trusting someone with your home.

Vicky,Paul and all the team at morley are very professional,helpful and very knowledgeable on the ranges of products they supply,a special mention for young Jake behind the counter,he knows all the product codes off by heart,test him next time your in,the staff aren't intimidating in any way,they are a credit to howdens,and you get free cookies and coffee, Paul @ J.PJoinery

Excellent service and quality of the kitchen supplied

Been dealing with Danny in the morley branch for a few years now, always professional and happy to go that extra mile to help us get the jobs done on time.

Personality is a massive help when dealing with issues, timely and efficient. Brilliant service, brilliant products, brilliant staff.

We have just had our kitchen completed!
@Kya at the Morley branch helped us design the layout and plan the project. She was dedicated and attentive throughout. She visited our house when necessary and was always really easy to contact. She replies to emails and messages within minutes which made coordinating the final details/deliveries and fitting stress-free. I would fully recommend Kya and the Morley branch manager was also super helpful.
The loss of a star was because of two reasons: The Howdens worktop supplier and the Branch politics. Sheridans (howdens worktop supplier) don’t fit hobs ‘flush’ as standard which is poor and when explaining to Howdens that I would source the worktops elsewhere I was confronted by a member of staff who was quite difficult. He told me I would find it hard to find a company who would fit it flush and wasn’t supportive.
The ‘branch politics’ issue we had was that we initially started using our builders account with the Lockwood branch but they proved difficult to communicate with (up to two weeks to reply to emails). As a landlord, I decided to open my own account and move to Morley branch which was conveniently next to my workplace. I found out later, when trying to return some excess products, that Lockwood and called up Morley and demanded to split the sale. This made returning items inconvenient. I had chosen to deal with Morley and feel I should have been told if some of my business was redirected to Lockwood where I had chosen not to conduct business.
It was because of Kya that the experience was overall really positive and I would work with her again on future projects. She has excelled herself and is a credit to the business.

I would like to thank Kya at the Morley store for everything! Such a lovely girl, she came out and understood my vision and has brought it to life. I am very picky and no question, text or call was ever too much. I also had lots of changes throughout that she was more than happy to help me with. Thanks so much kya :) also thankyou to Paul and Vicky who I know helped out with bits and bobs too much appreciated guys would definitely recommend this store and all the staff - loving my new kitchen :) chanait
