Very helpful staff and great service.

Was looking through kitchens on the website which is quite good and detailed but not always easy to refer back to a previously seen product and make comparison
I noticed a link to request a brochure which I thought would be sent to me by post in the form of a proper physical paper brochure. Asked to give an email address which I thought was maybe just for possible contact. But no the brochure came through as an Email link. Don’t really see the point . Surely these are the same products which can already be seen on the website through a screen. Sadly , just another company expecting the customer to choose from a phone screen. Email already in the bin!!

I bought my wardrobes from Howdens (Sighthill Depot) and what excellent service. All staff very friendly. Harry Fairbairn did the design, he knows his stuff and gave good solid advice. He was very patient and understanding as I changed my mind numerous times. The outcome was even better than I could have imagined and a great price for first class quality and service. So if you are thinking of a new kitchen or bedroom furniture look no further than Howdens, you won’t be disappointed. I would not go anywhere else.

I had a kitchen fitted in 2021. The builder who was renovating our property subcontracted out the joinery work.

The kitchen spice rack wasn’t installed properly and the joiner just drilled through the frame to attach the door as they must have misplaced the fittings to attach it to the frame.
The door fell off in March25, so I contacted howdens via their online form, later replying to the email chain confirming the install date, installer, and a photo of the part missing.

Harry (Assistant Manager at the Edinburgh Sighthill branch) assisted and was straight on the case.

It did take a month to get a resolution and source the part, but I have to say, howdens have been very proactive in resolving issues promptly when we were installing the kitchen.

This is first time I have bought a kitchen from Howdens Sighthill (Edinburgh).I am very pleased with the service and delivery. Aabhi was handling my kitchen deal and he was very helpful from the beginning till the date of complication of the kitchen. Good material stuff . I will recommend to more friends and family. All the staff we spoke to at Howden's Sighthill, were very friendly and helpful. We met up with Abhi, one of the designers, to plan our new kitchen. Abhi is a very pleasant, knowledgeable and approachable man. When he visited us at home, he took the time to find out what we wanted and helped us plan our beautiful kitchen. When we went to the depot, to see our new kitchen design on large screen, we were very impressed and any tweeks to the plan were no problem. From the start, right through to completion, Abhi was always available to answer any questions etc in a timely manner. The standard of the kitchen is second to none. You wont need to worry about having to replace your units in a few years time. They are built to last.

Have just recently finished having my new kitchen installed and was very apprehensive as to the best company to use after reading all the reviews.
I have to say that my experience with dealing with designer (Abhi) in the Edinburgh Sighthill branch was perfect. Guided through the whole process from start to finish with no hard sell and only constructive advice. I have a small kitchen and was helped to maximise the space and incorporate the storage ideas I had seen in larger kitchens. Some appliances I purchased from Howdens and others out with but the end result is perfect. The design and products were excellent. I must also say that my joiner team (Oaklands Square Developments) were obviously 50% responsible for my experience as they worked in tandem with Howdens and their work was great.

Knowledgeable, helpful and fully understood my request. In stock and out the door in less than 5 mins.

Quality of products is always great

Clear friendly professional advice from the outset, really nice design meeting where we felt at ease and under no pressure to choose any particular product. Helpful follow up conversation to find a suitable fitter who was outstanding. Everything was not a problem from start to finish and any questions or changes were dealt with swiftly and efficiently. The final result is stunning. Thank You for making the process stress free, friendly and supportive.

Even as an apprentice, Howdens has always been the ‘ go to’ when it comes to majority of my joinery works.
Staff are always friendly and welcoming and always happy to help where and when needed!

Great service

A very straight forward kitchen, but the design did have some issue, counter top size was tight and door handles protrude, which should have been identified during design.
