Poor service for non trade customers
If you’re trade I expect that there’s not much of an issue with Howdens however if you’re a customer of a trade then you have problems. We inherited a 2 year old Howdens kitchen after buying the property from a trade person. 2 Cabinet knobs need replacing and Howdens will not sell to us because we are not trade. We now have to replace 40 cup and knob handles.
As these kitchens appear to be no better quality than anywhere else I’m not sure why they are so closed shop. I would not recommend a Howdens kitchen through their tradesman/woman.
Update- in response to the reply below, I did actually go the branch to see if they could help but it was futile, I was informed that I had to have a trade account, so my complaint against this company stands, why would anyone not in trade be lumbered with a Howdens kitchen.
