Howdens - Barnet Omdömen 

I wanted to take the time to share my experience with the team at Howdens High Barnet who my friend put me onto (PS Carpentry) ,The service I have received from Molly, Dean and Tom has been excellent from start to finish.
I was looking to build some media and office space against a wall for my girlfriend’s gift hamper business. She needed plenty of storage for stock, along with a couple of cupboards for the children’s toys and games, which had previously been stored along that wall.
When Dean came out to measure up, I explained that this was a luxury project rather than a kitchen that needed to be installed, so I had a budget I needed to stick to. He was honest from the outset and said he would struggle to get it below £2,000. The team were quick to get the quotes back to me, but unfortunately, the initial options were outside our budget.
Fortunately, October gave us an opportunity to revisit things. I went into the branch for a meeting with Dean and Tom, the branch manager, and we looked at ways to bring the cost down without compromising too much on the overall design. We made a few changes, including the back panels and the height of the cupboards above, and they worked with me to find a solution that suited our budget.
One of my girlfriend’s main requirements was a high-quality, soft-close 900mm drawer unit, similar to the one we have in our kitchen. I genuinely thought that anything below the top-end option would feel cheap and potentially not stand the test of time. Dean was upfront that the premium option came at a considerable cost, so we discussed alternatives and eventually opted for a more affordable unit with three soft-close drawers.
I'll be honest, I did have my reservations. I was concerned that the drawers might feel cheap or that the runners and soft-close mechanisms could break over time. However, I couldn't have Been more wrong. From Dean & Tom's advice on the units to Molly sorting out the delivery, finishing touches and aftercare, the service has been excellent at every stage.

I have visited this store many times over recent months to purchase products for my house renovation. On one particular occasion I needed two doors that were not immediately available in store. I explained to the store manager, Kerry, how much I needed them that day and she went out of her way to ensure I got them the same day. Her customer service is amazing and she is an asset to the company.

Howdens made a home visit & made a good kitchen plan. The plan was carried out by our builders Craig & Dan meticulously. It took time because all kinds of old problems emerged but the result is great! The cabinets are lovely very modern & strong. We chose a dull grey matt & matched it with panels instead of tiling with floor tiles to match. All looks very good!

Great design by Dean and after design support by Carl and team.
Dean worked according to my budget and made amendment to the design to meet our needs. Also, when there was little issue in fitting, he made special visit to my house to guide my builders. There were some items were missing in the delivery but Dean, Carl and team dealt with very efficiently and I received all items. My kitchen looks amazing.
Delivery driver was very friendly, polite and helpful.
Great customer service and communication by Carl and team. They were patient dealing with my telephone enquiry regarding missing items and they did their best to resolve any issue.
Me and my daughter are very happy with all-over experience with HOWDEN at Barnet Branch.

Was not told of the delivery charge of £40 when I ordered the door and door lining and some architrave, so I complained and said wasn’t told and what they could do about it and straightaway. Carl said no problem and he refunded me my delivery charge very good service. Would definitely recommend an ordering some more doors for future project. Thanks
