I had a variety of work carried out between February and June of this year and cannot fault the service I received from Brian in the Ayr branch. Nothing was a problem - only solutions no problems. Highly recommend. 10/10! Thanks for a seamless service and the work carried out was phenomenal from GD Bathrooms and Kitchens - recommended by Brian. George and Logan were superb. Their attention to detail and the quality of their work is faultless. Can’t thank them enough.

I called to uplift two booked in products and was embarrassingly asked to pay for them there and then. When last used to but a £4000 + kitchen it was on a monthly credit / billing account. Why would this have changed? Iain
AN UPDATE: Depot Manager called me on a Bank Holiday to explain: Howdens now, only in the last month, retain accounts as Live if not recently used rather than close them. Good efficient service

Needed a new kitchen and after shopping around visited Howdens in Ayr. Mary took the time to listen to what we were looking for then visited the house to measure up. Mary put us in touch with George from GD kitchens and Bathrooms who visited us and provided us with a price for doing all joinery, electrical and plumbing work.
George and Logan came as agreed and fitted the kitchen as per plans. A few minor changes were suggested and the end result left us delighted with the work carried out. I would definitely recommend getting George’s number from Mary as the wait was worth it.

Very recently completed our new Kitchen and also fitted bedroom furniture all from Howdens Ayr store. A big thank you to Brian from Howdens who overseen every step of the way, Caroline the kitchen designer who was amazing in working out the best use of our awkward shaped kitchen.Absolutely delighted with both. Kitchen high quality. Modern and Contemporary, just what we wanted. Quality workmanship made it even better. Our fitter was George from GD Kitchens and Bathrooms. Best fitter I've had in ten houses. Highly recommend. Nothing was a bother to him. Made a beautiful job of our kitchen and fitted wardrobes.

From design to delivery the whole experience was excellent, very professional staff and nothing was to much effort

Didn't have everything in stock. Warehouse 'service' is painfully slow. It seems if you back your van up to the door the lads will deal with you straight away, if you come out from the counter (no paperwork given!) you could be waiting a long time. Communication needs to be improved.

First time I’ve used Howdens as I’ve been using Magnet for 20 years, found the full process very easy from design to delivery all in a week, fast, friendly staff. I normally buy around 10 kitchens a year so hopefully the first of many good experiences.

We had asked for a quote for materials, this was dealt with very promptly, also when we changed a couple of times the response time was excellent.
Delivery happened when it said it would and delivery drivers were helpful in unloading materials.

I couldn’t be happier with my new kitchen – the design is absolutely stunning and has completely transformed the space. Mary Strachan did an amazing job as my kitchen designer, really listening to what I wanted and creating a layout that is both beautiful and practical.

A special mention also goes to George, the joiner, whose craftsmanship was flawless – every detail was finished to perfection. The quality of the work shines through, and it’s clear how much pride he took in getting everything just right.

I would highly recommend Mary and George to anyone looking for a top-class kitchen.

The customer service was great from the start. I was in to buy kitchen cupboards in the Ayr store. The girl showed me the full range of kitchens and colours. I was interested in opening a trade account. This was done immediately and only took around 10 mins. There was one door not in stock but this was ordered and delivered to store the next day. From the beginning, it was a good experience with good customer service from all staff, which I feel is hard to find these days. Keep up the good work.

Great service and support designing and pricing up our new kitchen

I cannot fault the team at Ayr Howdens, they provide a great service together as a depot. Mary is a fantastic professional kitchen designer and she pointed out things instinctively that we hadn't even considered. Her friendly and patient way with us made her a joy to deal with. Brian on the front desk is the calm Oracle of Howdens and there's not much he doesn't know about their products. He'll sort in minutes what would take ages trawling through catalogues or products online. Sean in the storeroom cheerily lugged a really heavy sink that had to be replaced due to a small fault. With high quality products at very competitive prices, what's not to like. Thank you Ayr Howdens! GD Kitchens & Bathrooms provided a first class fitting service.

Door came on time and let me know as soon as they received it

Howdens’ staff at Ayr branch were very helpful and my kitchen units were delivered quickly. One worktop arrived with damage but a replacement was delivered within a few hours.
