Hoppers Omdömen 

We arrived early, due to getting train into london. We were told to come back at booking time. It was raining, and we were wet and cold. We found a cafe and had a coffee. We arrived back at our booking time, and was seated by the door. I was cold, and had to put coat on, due to the door opening with potential customers. We had booked online and ordered the tasting menu. We didnt get this, we decided to order seperate dishes. My lamb curry was nice, and husband had the squid. We also ordered soft drinks as well.
The girl waitress was friendly, asked if we had been before to Hoppers? We said No, I was expecting a conservation about the food, and drinks.
A lovely cake came out, for my birthday. Friendly service.

Still the Biggest rip-off in Soho. Very small portions. The portions are minute, barely two tablespoons of curry for £15 and flavourless
The roti, what a Joke size of your palm. Do not bother going here honestly so many other better places
Such a shame this used to be great, Now it's just insulting with tiny portions and overpriced tasteless food
Very disappointed, will never go
again. Really angry actually that they think this is acceptable to serve such little food for that price.
I did complain and was met with shrugged shoulders and that there was nothing the staff could do.
Awful please do not waste your time or money here, hoppers / soho branch.

I went with my friends from school to interview Karan for our project on culinary sciences. The people were so nice and welcoming, the food was absolute 10/10, Karan was very helpful and nice, my friends and I will always remember this fabulous experience, thank you so much Hoppers!

- this restaurant never disappoints - food, service and staff are great - the cabbage dish is my new favourite , smoky and spicy, mmmmm
I am still thinking about it today!
BUT having to pay a £200 deposit in advance for a table of 6 when 3 of the 6 are kids feels wrong! The policy states that You must spend £200 minimum, it makes the experience feel pressurised and feels unnecessary. I mean come on
hoppers the restaurant is busy all of the time - isn't this a bit greedy!

Decent food at good price never had Sri Lanka before so was nice to try

The food was alright. There are better Sri Lankan restaurants for the price.

Went for a lunch at Hoppers Kings Cross. Wonderful traditional food, which took me back to the authentic food that my mother made in my childhood. Had well-made hoppers with the correct taste, and a bone marrow curry, which I haven't had since I was a child. It was perfect. The manager, Dinesh, was extremely polite, helpful and a pleasure to speak to. Would recommend to anyone who wishes to try traditional Sri Lankan food or wants to have food that reminds them of a Sri Lankan childhood, this is definitely a place to try. I am looking forward to my next visit soon,

The lager is £4.50 for 25cl. They don't give the drinks volumes of the menu (which is actually illegal) because no-one would buy them if they did.
