We bought a ticket on our last day for the touristic bus in Barcelona. The voucher did not download despite us and the ticket checker attempting to download. We had to buy another ticket but hoponhopoffbus (Isango) refused to refund. We thought we were buying from a reputable Barcelona company. Beware

Save your money and take local buses instead. Local transportation is much cheaper and have air conditioning that works. The buses throw a lot of hot air. Out of the four buses we took in 48 hours only one had decent A/C. We bought the 2 day bus and found it to be a waste on time and money. In the high temperatures of Seville it’s difficult to wait a half hour for the bus. You have no idea if you missed it or you should continue to wait as there is no schedule posted nor they have an app to help you with schedules. We were told by the agent at a tourist office who sold us the ticket, that the run every 10 minutes which is absolutely not true. Also the discounts included are worthless and you have to make reservations in advance. Do not waste your money.

I bought a Hop On Hop Off tour for Barcelona with the Sagrada Familia.
The time slot I picked was unavailable so I received an email from the company asking if another time worked for me, or if I’d like a full refund.
I agreed to a full refund for the entire ticket, only to find out they’ve given a partial refund and refuse to refund the full amount even though I never used the bus tour due to them saying it was cancelled and I was getting a full refund.
I’m out $120AUD due to the incompetence of their staff.

If you are only offering a partial refund, state that. Do not try to gaslight your customers by saying you were only going to refund one part of it all along, when it clearly states in the email YOU wrote that you were giving a FULL refund.

Seriously - I wouldn’t recommend. If you’re in Barcelona, choose the other bus company.

I booked a 48 hr hop on hop off in Florence. Used service to get from train station to my accommodation. Lost my ticket but still had voucher. Only 2-3 hours later but they said I would have to buy a new ticket. Even the same bus. Contacted the company but they wouldn’t do anything for me

It would be hard to explain how disappointed and angry I am with Hop On Hop Off Vancouver (Isango). On 05/12/23, I tried to book Hop On Hop Off Vancouver for 2 adults for 06/16/23 multiple times online using 2 credit cards with no success. Time 57 minutes. This morning, I talked with my credit card company and responded to emails to resolve issues with multiple purchase attempts which made them suspect fraud. 20 minutes.

I emailed support and called their support line 866-626-0117. The agent tried 2 credit cards and finally made a purchase for MAY 16, 23 – the WRONG DATE. He said that he entered the correct date and there is a glitch in their system. That is an understatement. I now have a cancellation confirmation so there better NOT be any charges on my cards. It will be 10 days before that cancellation is credited to my card. 38 minutes. It sure is hard to spend money with Hop On Hop Off Vancouver. I wasted 1 hour and 55 minutes of my life that I will never get back. Don't make the same mistake.

We paid through Isango for hop on hop off bus in Palma. They wouldn’t let us on the bus. Isango refusing to give money back. I will be taking this further. Terrible company.

Did not find the pickup location because I was only given a general map. By the time I contacted the company and they sent me a link to the map, two hours had passed. When I finally got to the correct bus stop, the bus never showed up. I ended up missing an afternoon of touring that I had expected. What a disappointment. Now they are telling me that they are not guaranteeing that I will get a refund. Because it is based on the choice of the local bus company. Don’t ever use this company. I wish I had read some of these reviews first.

They sent me a QR code that did not work so I ended up buying a new ticket for the hop off and hop on bus. For the past 8 weeks, I have emailed them multiple times to request a refund but no luck so far. It is a scam, stay away!

Buses were late and packed. I waited 45 minutes for a hop-on hop-off bus in Lisbon, the bus arrived completely full and was not able to board. We were traveling with an infant so could not wait another 45 minutes only to find out the bus was full, so booked with another company. I requested a refund on the basis of services paid for but not rendered but they refused to refund me. This company is a joke and nightmare. I would completely avoid the .

Foolishly decided to book 4 tickets for the Red HOHO bus in Athens. Waited 2 hours in blistering heat outside the cruise terminal and no buses turned up.
This company then quoted their Cancellation terms and said the tickets are valid for 12 months!!!!!!
My only advice is to avoid these scammers unless you want to throw away your money.

Booked a ticket all the way to the Eiffel tower summit, then the guide cancelled it. Everyone else gotto go up exceot us...unless we were prepared to stand in horrendous queues again!! Thabks a lot. Ruined a great day.

Booked a Hop on hop off tour for London, with TootBus. We spent £58 to be kicked off the bus half an hour later with no reason, just everyone off the bus. Apparently another was laid on but that bus was already full to capacity so we then had to wait in picadilly for more than an hour, with 2 all children, one of which needed the loo. No other bus turned up and it was at that point past their working times.
I complained to Isango the same night, I was ignored for a week until I got I touch again, only to be told they were sending it to tootbus for review and to please be patient. A week later I asked again to be told the same thing. So I waited. Today I got in touch and asked for the CEOS details and to speak with someone regarding this issue and low and behold tootbus apparently got back in touch with them right at that second to offer me a partial refund. They offered 23quid. Now, at this point that adds insult to injury. Had they offered half back and an actual apology idve taken it, however they did not. I declined the offer and again went back to their live chat to discuss, Apparently they need to go back to tootbus and ask again! They in the mean time upped the offer to £28! I don't believe for one second that Isango have been in contact with Tootbus. They apparently have no number ti contact complains on and they don't have an manager's in customer service with which to speak to on the matter. They also offer no proof that your claim has been escalated and offer no proof that you will even be contacted by anyone. The only reason I got any response today was because I contacted them and badgered, something I do not like to do at all. Now I am to wait sometime after 72hours, could be 3-5 days could be 5-7. Apparently a manager will call me back in up to 72 hours but no one can be sure of this!
In short stay away from Isango! And Hop-on-hop-off-bus.com! And stay away from tootbus too.

Big love to the doorman of the Ritz however who took pity on us and let us use their toilet!

We bought hop on hop off bus tickets in Florence. The link to download the voucher didn’t work, so we ended up buying tickets again on the bus.

They refused a refund.

I wouldn’t trust them for anything.

APPALLING COMPANY - DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR MONEY THEY ARE SCAM ARTISTS WHO DO NOT REFUND. BOOKED TICKETS THREE WEEKS AGO FOR TOURIST ATTRACTIONS THAT WERE FULLY BOOKED AND NEVER USED TICKETS AS TICKET CAME BACK UNRECOGNISED. THIS IS AGAINST ALL OUR CONSUMER RIGHTS AS THEY ARE UNLAWFULLY KEEPING MY MONEY. WHY ARE THEY NOT REPORTED. CANNOT GET A CONFIRMATION WHEN MY REFUND WILL BE RETURNED. SOOOOO ANGRY

If I could give 0 star I would as we couldn't even utilise the ticket for hop on hop off tour that we paid for!
I have been back and forth with email and phone calls. They said they would refund me over the phone and just to email them and now I've emailed them, they keep repeating the same questions just so they can't refund me. I bought the hop on hop off tour for Dublin on their website but buses weren't even operational on that day and now they're trying to say that it did when I was in Dublin for the whole day and didn't see any! We waited for 1 hour on just 1 stop and even walked to the main street of O' Connell Street Upper and buses stop weren't there.

THIS IS A BOGUS SITE! DO NOT USE THEM, THEY NEED TO BE REPORTED!!!!
I BOOKED THROUGH THEM, THEY TOOK MY MONEY AND I COULDN'T PRINT TICKETS BECAUSE THE LINK COMES BACK UNRECOGNISED. I HAVE BEEN FIGHTING WITH THEM FOR MONTHS TO GET A REFUND, THEY COME ACROSS VERY HELPFUL AND UNDERSTANDING THEN DO NOTHING! THEY GIVE YOU EXCUSE AFTER EXCUSE, THEY EVEN TRY TO CONTRADICT WHAT YOU'VE SAID AND BYPASS THE ACTUAL FACTS THAT YOU'VE BEEN EXPLAINING ALL ALONG.

Does anyone how I could claim back my money? They shouldn't be allowed to get away with this!!

We booked a Seine River Cruise with Isango. Due to the Coronavirus our trip was cancelled and I called in March to cancel. The agent said there was no problem and that he would cancel my reservation and refund my money. I never got the refund. I called a few weeks after and the agent said the reservation hadn't been canceled and that he would cancel it and send me an email. I received the email and was expecting my refund in 5-7 days as stated in the email. On the 7th day still no refund. I called again to inform them of my frustration and the agent said the reservation had not been canceled, however he saw the email and promised to take care of the problem. As of today there had been no communication and no refund.

Wow Avoid!!!!! Will definitely NOT be using insango again. Customer service is extremely poor, have been waiting for a partial refund for 2 weeks and still don't appear to have one. Upon second time of chasing there was 'apparently' no record. Avoid at all costs, if anything goes wrong don't expect them to be helpful in putting it right.

I urge everyone to STAY CLEAR OF ISANGO - this company takes your money under misrepresentation of experiences. I DID NOT GET WHAT I PAID FOR. And once they take your money THEY DO NOT CARE AND CHANGE THE DETAILS ON THE WEBSITE suggesting you’re lying.

I purchased a Miami bus tour with Miami Seaquarium tickets which was clearly advertised on the website at the time of purchase as a ‘combo’. I have screen grabs as proof.

There were a variety of issues with what they sold me...

1 - On arriving at the bus stop, with my 18 month old baby, I was told the bus tickets I had been sent weren’t valid for travel and I had to make my own way across the city, a 45 minute journey of my own expense in taxis, to pick the tickets up from the main bus office.

2 - At the time of purchase, Isango’s website clearly stated that you got a second day free on the bus tour when you received your first ticket, which my paperwork confirmed, however staff of the bus company told me this was not true and Isango had given, and sold, me the wrong information.

3 - The Miami Seaquarium was listed as a stop on the bus tour on the paperwork, sent to me by Isango, and when I arrived at the bus stop I was told by the bus company that this information was incorrect. I then had to pay $50 in taxis to take a 20 minute ride to get to the aquarium. And of course return.

The customer service is severely lacking any sort of empathy or service in general and even if you have proof through images, paperwork, email trails and receipts THEY DO NOT LISTEN.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS!
