Homebase - Stroud Omdömen 

Lesley at Stroud was on the tills and asked if I had got all I needed. I said that I couldn't find some pine cabinet knobs. She directed me to the isle. Again, I was unsuccessful. She was free and in good humour led me to the correct location. I ended up buying ceramic knobs at a higher cost but it was worth it. Excellent, friendly service. Thank you Lesley.

Easy to return paint (ordered the wrong colour by mistake) to the Stroud Branch despite ordering on line and collecting from a different branch! Very convenient.

Needed a puncture free wheelbarrow urgently. Phoned around and Homebase came good with a returned phoned response to my initial enquiry, handled by Suzanne. Collected from the store within the hour. Suzanne was knowledgeable and extremely helpful throughout the whole process. Many thanks for a pleasant retail experience.

I was presented with a returned item in used packaging and the staff did not care. On opening the box, there was a delivery document with the previous Customers details on it which the staff snatched from me. I paid for a new item, not a returned item and the staff did not care. They obviously had not checked inside the box or they would have found the original delivery note ! .....note the reply below, yet still no offer of anything for taking a returned item !!!

V quick click and collect. A friend had to collect it for me( I forwarded the text to her as proof of identity) and there were no problems.

I also visited last week. I did buy a lot of clearance items to be fair, but in total I bought about £400 of tools, accessories and consumables for 140 quid

The staff at Stroud Homebase are exceptional. They take no end of trouble to give advice and find suitable products for a given task. Tonight’s visit was no exception and a bonus was unsolicited help given to load my purchases into my car!

The order was waiting and was on a trolley ready to wheel away. I don’t remember seeing a “Click and collect” signpost though and needed to check with the cashier that I was in the right place. It was processed very quickly.

Kevin was my hero! I had my hands full with 2 babies & he saw me struggling so came to help. His knowledge was amazing about plants and soil as I didnt know what i was looking for. He carried everything to the till and served me instantly. I will be returning thank you Kevin

My chosen heritage paint showed as available online, but was not in stock in store. Niamh not only checked availability for me, but also checked warehouse stock to no avail, then checked if it was possible to mix a matching paint in store. Finally, she mixed the paint and even price matched it. Outstanding service from a helpful, friendly and professional person who went the extra mile to help, a real credit to the organisation.
