Homebase - Newark Omdömen 

Becky was really helpful, she went above and beyond to help me and she was friendly also.

Despite behaving like a shouty impatient Diva - Steve and Holly’s excellent customer service smoothed my morning nerves and I left smiling calm with everything I went in store to get - best local store!

We went into store to buy a fan we had seen on display but they were out of stock a member of staff (dougie)overheard us asking when they would be back in stock and had a look online and saw that they were in stock at Sleaford, he was straight on the phone to Sleaford and asked if he could collect one on his way home and bring it in the next day, we collected the fan the next day from the newark store, fantastic customer services thanks again Dougie.

Went to buy bbq from Newark Homebase today, living only 15 minutes drive from the store didn’t require delivery. However the BBQ we wanted wasn’t in stock so we would now have to have it delivered at a cost of £20. I suggested it be delivered to the store where we would pick it up but no that wasn’t an option. We could have bought this item on line but didn’t as we believe we should support local stores. Must say I was disappointed with the fact had to pay for delivery I budgeted for.

Brought kitchen from the Newark on Trent homebase,, just want to say your employee Rakh was absolutely fantastic,, he made the whole process so easy. He did three designs ,all fantastic, hard to choose which one. Recommended a fitter who we felt comfortable with. He really deserves recommendation,

Collection point was slow, only one serving. Asked for some help but in my opinion, Steve was unhelpful and unfriendly. Not impressed.

Click and collect brilliant. Picked up same evening, parcel was ready and waiting on the shelf. Friendly service with a smile….always welcome.

The cashiers (Holly and Nikki) were extremely helpful when we were unsure if the item would fit in our car. They came out with us to ensure all was Ok prior to buying the item. We then had a fault with the item and returned it on the same day again the gentleman who dealt with us was excellent and we managed to exchange the item

Adrian at the till was friendly, knowledgeable and communicative. I asked for a particular product and he described its location without hesitation and perfectly.

Went in for some reusable garden waste bags. Couldn't find them so asked Nikki at the checkout and she knew exactly what I meant and exactly where they were.

The service from our guy Steve was amazing. There is no higher praise I can give him, he was a massive help for me to redo our garden.

Found and purchased compost required Joyce busy but ok at till didn’t appear to be many staff about to ask for help

Adrian asked if he could help me whilst I was in store to purchase gravel. He put the heavy bags in my trolley and offered to take them to my car and load them in. So pleasant and helpful.

I wish Homebase were as considerate and delivered such heavy and dirty items. Seems ridiculous that you can have small things delivered but not the things that it would be really helpful to have delivered!!!!

I was shopping for gloss paint for an exterior door at the Newark branch and spoke to a member of the team called Adrian. He was really helpful and went out of his way to help. Highly recommend this store and the team are really friendly and approachable. Very impressed 🙂
