Homebase - Maidstone Omdömen 

I came in yesterday to find a lawnmower and two lovely lads helped me out and I found exactly what I was looking for. George helped me to the car which was very kind. Thanks to Jayden and George for all the help!!

I much prefer to see items in a shop on display to get a feel for quality and design. Having trawled round wickes (quality good) but service staff had no time to help and BnQ were absolutely useless and waste of time! We walked into Homebase Aylesford dealt with by a chap called Ricky, who was very personable, helpful and knew exactly what we wanted and how to achieve it. We were in and out with just what we wanted. Happy he could help and smiling on a Sunday morning… thank you Ricky wish there were more like him and Homebase look after him. Worth his weight in gold!

I went to homebase in Aylesford today with a budget in mind for a garden parasol and stand. I was met by George who was happy, engaging, helpful and proactive. George managed to save me nearly £100 with the idea of using paving slabs instead of a stand to support the large parasol 😊 we all look to save money during these tough times and George pulled through👌 5 star service from such a lovely young lad.

I could not collect my item from click and collect at Aylesford, I keep trying to phone but no one answers the last day for collection was 17/06. I still haven’t been refunded the £30.00

Ordered online which was easy to do & when I went to the store Tracy was there with a smile . After the customer in front was served Tracy immediately went & got my order & asked if I needed any further assistance.I left the store happy after the excellent service.

Just picked up an Outback BBQ. Fully unpacked the numerous contents of the first box. Unpacked the second box and there is a serious dent on the lid.

Update. Replaced at the shop. All good now. Thanks to Amy at customer support and Richard in the shop.

Ordered click & collect on a popular sale item and it was available at the store next day

My light fitting looks very nice, but it wasn’t in a bag and I assumed it would be as the last time I purchased my shades came in a grey plastic bag, I was quite prepared to purchase a bag but they didn’t have any big enough as I travelled by bus I had to buy something so I purchased bin bags, the first lot was too small so I had to dash back to the shelf and buy bigger, it was a comedy of errors, but I must add that the staff were lovely and just wanted to help me

Very easy just go to collection point give them last 3 numbers of order and they bring it to you perfect.

I purchased replacement doors for my kitchen units which were 22 years old.
The whole process from order to fitting was supported by Ricky the advisor in this department. His knowledge, experience and helpfulness made the fitting experience much easier for my husband who was not looking forward to the process. Due to the age of the units many adjustments needed to be made and Ricky was very patient with us.
They look amazing and it’s hard to believe that we haven’t had a new kitchen fitted.

Went to see the furniture in store, then came home ordered it and received delivery on the date booked for so a very good experience

The ordered items were incorrect and they did not have the correct ones in the store. The app showed 5 in at a nearby store, but the store refused to have them transferred over fir me.
It took an age to get a refund in store, and a waste of my time and fuel to get to the store and back.

We recently purchased a kitchen from the Aylesford branch of Homebase. All delivery`s came at the specified day and time slot. These were all well packaged. We are very happy with the end result despite having some issues along the way which they helped us resolve even though they were not of their making. The service we received throughout the process has been outstanding particularly from Ricky. His attention to detail from start to finish has been exceptional. We have already recommended him to friends and we would have no hesitation in doing so further.

Bought garden metal bench on 31st July 2023, although covered throughout the winter it's rusting badly, obviously the paint covering wasn't up to the job..

Homebase ordering was fine but the delivery date was not adhered to by the courier,, Two days late.

Lovely pots. Fast service im store. They even managed to find an item they had said was unavailable. Superb!

I went in to get some cord for my powerbase grass trimmer. There weren't any on display so I had a look on the website, couldn't find the info there so I opened a box to get the model number. I was then confronted by a very officious staff member asking if he could help, I said Yes please, I need to know which is the right cord for one of these. He all but snatched the box from me, closing it up and then demanding to know which shelf it came from. He then led me to the cord section and handed me a roll of cord which I knew categorically was too large, I told him this so he put it back and then proceeded to show me a different model on display and informed me that all the information on the machine can be found on its blue label. He then strolled off. As there were NO display models of the machine I have, I went back, reopened the box, got the model number, closed the box and returned it to its shelf before selecting the correct cord and proceeding to the checkout. I left feeling angry at having been spoken to like a naughty child (I'm 47!) and disappointed as all my previous experiences at this store have been positive. Unfortunately he wasn't wearing a name tag or I'd be reporting him directly to the Manager.

I was looking for a specific garden tool; it was unusual, small, hard to find. One of the staff gave me excellent support in searching.
