Homebase - Gloucester Omdömen 

Couldn’t find the lightbulbs I wanted so went on round the store and did some other shopping, but when I got to the checkout and said I couldn’t find the right lightbulbs, the wonderfully helpful Emily actually took me back to the lighting area and explained that many of the old fittings had changed and she knew exactly what I needed, she was so knowledgeable about them, I was so impressed with her friendliness, her willingness to help me and her absolute patience, she certainly knows what first class customer service is all about, she gets it so right..thank you Emily and to Janice who helped at the checkout too, a lovely smiling lady, makes a nice change. Well done Homebase at Gloucester.

Found what i was looking for The lady pricing the plant pots outside was very helpful and the lady Alicia on the till cheerful and polite

Item was faulty. Set it up to find that it didn't work. Had to carry it back down to the ground floor. Pack it up. Return it. Managed to get a replacement although it was a beaten up returned item but apparently fine. Got it home. Carried it all to the top floor for a 2nd time. Set it all up again. Thankfully it seems to work but my back is now painful.
Should a returned item that has been opened and used be sold at full price???? I'm not sure it should.

I visited Homebase Gloucester today to buy a gate and a small panel . Steve was very helpful and took my purchases to the till and loaded my car for me . Excellent service .

Easy. Efficient. Competitive price

Purchased the Matara 6 seater, click and collect was a smooth process, finished work early to go and collect to give ourselves time to build it before our friends arrived for dinner. Only to find it was missing all the fittings. Meaning we couldn’t build or use the furniture. Phoned the store who said they would put some fittings aside out of another set but due to the stores closing time and the distance I couldn’t get there before it closed. Meaning a very disappointing evening having a bbq sat inside. I am now having to go back to the store the next day in my lunch break. I asked if I could get any form of refund however small for the disappointment and inconvenience. Turns out if you do click and collect the store can’t give you any money off!

I won’t be doing click and collect again, most items you can check before leaving the store but obviously with the size of the garden furniture that makes it impossible.

Very disappointed and annoyed.

Great garden furniture. Only disappointment is £20 delivery charge, none in store and not given the option to collect from store. If you don't have it in store customer should not have to pay delivery. Just to clarify to the Homebase reply.i viewed in Gloucester store, told none in stock and they could not get any deliveries to store but I could purchase it online only. Homebase I will not remove or edit this genuine review, stock more in store or get regular deliveries so customers don't get extra charges.

There was some confusion over my purchase but spoke to the Manager Steve who was excellent

He rectified my issue and was extremely helpful so I left the store very pleased with my purchase
Will use Homebase again

Lady on the counter was great! We had an interesting discussion about the spelling of "grey" and "gray".
Whoever did the "picking" got it wrong but she quickly sorted that out.

Helpful, pleasant and prompt.

A bit slow had to wait 15 minutes to collect could have picked it up myself in less time

Nice friendly staff always ready to help.

The lid was bent and the legs are missing

Kaleb was incredibly helpful, great customer service

Ordered my product early this morning and within 30 mins it was confirmed my order was ready for collection on the click/collect.
