Picked up an extremely dirty package with clear signs of damage. When unboxed at home, the damaged to the package was reflected on the TV stand. Couldn’t call the store so had to make a second 15 mile round trip to collect a second package.

I was away when I received message to collect Item with deadline before I returned. I called Homebase and they extended the collection date and this flexibility was appreciated

Ordered a dehumidifier for collection recently.
Easy to use website. Got a promo code which gave me a really good deal.
Got a text when my order was ready to collect. The customer service advisor was friendly and helpful, even offered to help load my items into my car. Plenty of parking availabile.
Easy shopping experience from the Craigleith, Edinburgh store.

We recently purchased a kitchen from Homebase , Craigleith Edinburgh, from the very start when we met Amanda Ross our kitchen fitting advisor we knew we were in good hands, her knowledge and advice was second to none , she made the whole process easy for us, keeping in contact from our initial order , through to deliver, fitting and aftercare.
We were given a choice of three fitters Homebase use and we chose Steven McAdam, he was excellent coordinating with his team of workers to attend at our property when needed. I would highly recommend Stevens kitchen fitting skills and his attention to detail.

Really appreciated the help from Francis today, an extremely thoughtful and pleasant young man who went out of his way to help me with my purchases, and noticing my limited mobility escorted me to the lift. Great to see this level of consideration in your team which I hope will be celebrated. Please do pass on my thanks and appreciation for the excellent customer service!

I bought a new led light bulb, bringing the old one in for recycling. The staff said "we don't do recycling - you have to do it yourself". This is actually against the law. If you sell electronic goods, you have an obligation to support recycling them. Because we need to take better care of our planet.

Happy I got some bits but it’s strange that we can click and collect items not in stock, it’s a long drive from my house to the store so feels like I wasted my time

Always find Homebase easy and pleasant to deal with. Stuff ordered online arrives quickly and without difficulty. Recommend.

@Craigleith branch, Edinburgh: Brilliant customers help with finding the right paint and masking tape, but my experience was overshadowed by the scary Halloween blow-up figure in black and white, on the wall, facing customers paying at the tills. It was a very unpleasant ending, compared to other times of visiting this local store. Plenty of alternative decor themes to choose from at this time of year.

Great communication with the delivery company delivery people were on time and ever so helpful

Easy to check for availability but would not let me get click and collect so had to arrive for opening times from 22 miles away to ensure I could get products and with paint colours it's vital for customers satisfaction and my clients. Emulsion always fab from Dulux Easycare and great finish.

I always click and collect. Order usually ready for collection within a hour of ordering. Fast and efficient service. Never disappoint.

Carolyn was very polite & helpful

Have been buying loads of gardening stuff in the sale. I have found Nicola in the garden centre amazing! She could not have been more helpful. And at the checkout, Rachel and Carolyn have been brilliant.

Popped in today to look at their Xmas range, happy with what I saw. Served by Rachel very pleasant,efficient. She even joined in with my xmas banter ( im buying xmas stuff in october and its not even halloween yet )which was nice. Keep up the good work. Karina is always helpful and friendly, as well as being very good at her job. I also spoke to a tall blonde woman on the shop floor and a couple of staff in the garden centre who were also extremely helpful.
