Went to collect my paint and the wrong…
Went to collect my paint and the wrong item had been picked. Luckily they still had the correct one on the shelf. They could not just swap the item over but had to refund the wrong one and I had to re buy the correct one. Luckily I had my card with me! Was then told I would have to wait 4 days for the refund. Not good enough Homebase.

Who needs customers?
I had an email today informing that ALL Christmas lights were now half price. When I went to the store the lights I wanted hadn't been marked down. I asked an assistant who firstly said it was just some lights..then when I pointed out that the signs said all she said she'd run it through the til to see
The conclusion was that the lights weren't even on the system and were still full price.
I pointed out the signs and showed her my email. She said she'd have to take them off sale. I asked to see a manager and was informed they were day off. I also pointed out that they were losing a purchase but to no avail.
I had another purchase so headed to the till. While waiting for the customers in front to have another pricing issue sorted out a call went out for the person I believe to be a manager of the store... they duly arrived and I was about to speak when the assistant suddenly appeared asking what lights I wanted dashed off to get them then opened up a till to sell them to us at half price!
Although I'm happy to purchase what I wanted as advertised I'm not happy that I seem to have been deliberately mislead to put it mildly. The store was extremely quiet and there is a reason the Christmas stock is reduced. It needs to sell and the window of opportunity is now!
Above all as the consumer I want to be treated with some degree of respect and in a professional manner not misinformed and lied to.
