Homebase - Dumfries Omdömen 

Bought some easi panel wall panels. They are Not that good quality easily damaged and a staff member was very rude on collection.

I had a lot of difficulty getting the site to load these into basket and gave up after several attempts failed saying out of stock in around 5 chosen stores then following day got email to say still in basket. Wanted these for my home in Liverpool but only could find in Scotland where my partner lives so asked if he could pick up from Dumfries store. I had ordered 6 to do my cloakroom and thought was a good offer one. My partner went to collect and they were waiting on a trolley which he wheeled out to the car. As he was loading them he noticed half the panels were damaged and had reduced label on half price. He phoned me and sent a photo so I asked him to return to the store as I had paid full price for my order. The lady on the desk was apologetic and summoned a male assistant to go and get the correct stock. At this point the male tried to accuse my partner of buying damaged goods and trying to return them, then asked the lady to check his receipt. He said this several times in front of other people and my partner felt embarrassed by the suggestion . The lady then confirmed they had just been collected from a click and collect order and to go and get undamaged ones. When he returned with them he started the same thing over again saying check his receipt he could be trying it on. My partner was already stressed out at this as he was on his way to see his daughter in hospital and was tempted to leave them behind and just get a refund only the order wasn't for himself. He has vowed not to return to Dumfries store again as he found the while charade an embarrassment in front of other customers

Molly was a gem

Collection was easy and efficient at Dumfries and staff were very helpful bringing heavy items to the car and helping me.

Needed a spike for an outside drier and despite being at the opposite end of the store Phill took me to the location and helped me find the item.

Went to get product in store to be told it was out of stock despite it saying online that there was one in stock. Therefore had to go home and order click + collect which stated there was one in stock and go back to store to collect it. Staff gave no apologies whats so ever!!!!

Young guy lewis was very helpful actually went thru the back and got me the strimmer part I needed he was very kind to me and my grandson

What can I say about Homebase kitchens, the whole experience was seamless from start to finish, that's not to say there weren't any hiccups but they were dealt with quickly and efficiently by Antonia at Homebase and Colin their Kitchen fitter, and they kept everything within my budget.
First seen beginning April at Homebase to kitchen being fitted and finished beginning of June.

I will for definite be visiting the store again very friendly staff members always happy to help Katie is an amazing help when looking for items needed and is very friendly and kind

Ordered on line for collection and found the whole process to be 'spot on'. Went to collect and found the staff to be friendly, helpful and cheerful - made the whole experience a pleasure rather than a chore.

Homebase Dumfries, extremely rude staff. Wrong products in wrong place so marked at wrong prices also. No apologies for this happening. Also a lot of products no prices.. surely not to trading standard policies

Elaine Dick was a fantastic store assistant, helped us alot and went above and beyond to make sure we had chosen the correct product.

Excellent service from Dumfries store as usual, pleasure it shop there and am regular visitor. All staff go out their way to assist me as I have limited mobility and wheelchair user.

Customer service was not good. I was in to buy a gas barbecue which I tried to lift by myself but was unable to. Asked for assistance but non wad available according to staff member. I then suggested I ordered click and collect and would come back later. Staff member thought this was a good idea! Arrived back to see same member of staff, I asked for assistance to get it in my car but she basically said, try getting it in yourself. Luckily on my way out, a member of staff was passing and I asked for assistance. Luckily he did assist me for which I am truly grateful as I would not have managed myself.

Everything at homebases website is so easy to use to buy stuff and be able to pick it up in store i really enjoyed the whole experience
