Homebase - Chichester Omdömen 

Item delivered on time and suited my needs for the project I was working on.

After ordering a storage cube on line I received a telephone call saying that they couldn’t find it in store so I said I’d have a different colour only to be told that they would have to cancel that order and I would have to go back on line and re-order the different colour ( even so the same price) . Now as the refund would take 3-4 days to reach my account I have in effect paid double for the product even if was just a few days ( fortunately i had enough funds in my account, some people might find it a problem especially on higher priced items). Also I had someone else collect and was told that the person collecting would have to show ID I gave the assistant his name and he said that would be fine only to find the person collecting empty handed on my doorstep saying that Homebase needed MY ID , so back to the store he went eventually getting my order. Last time I ordered these products it was so easy online and being disabled getting it delivered to my home was a dream, now not so much. What’s happened?

Order was ready when we collected it, all good. Pleasant service too.

Gave us the wrong order. Got to go back - not local. Tried phoning but no one to answer for over 90 minutes then they were closed!
Not impressed. The item we have is the wrong product and has another customer’s name on it! Wonderful

Easy, just arrived and quoted my order number and it was ready to go in a trolley. Perfect service

Easy to order and then the gentleman on click and collect was friendly and easy to deal with

We were served by Jack on the paint area. What a fantastic guy, so helpful suggesting various colours and types of paint to match a lamp shade for our bedroom. A huge thanks to Jack, not many people are that helpful, a real credit to Homebase.

I collected my order the man that served me was very helpful and friendly
He also called a young man who helped me with some wallpaper paste he was also very friendly and helpful

All ready for me when I arrived after doing “click and collect.” The member of staff was very respectful and helpful. Recommended.

The system worked as expected and assistance to load was willingly available.

I’m not impressed with one of your members of staff. I’d like to comment about a member of staff (Sue) whom I found to be disproportionately curt towards one of your valued customers. The customer was a young mother, with a baby in her trolley. She had a few bedding plants in her trolly and needed some compost (which was located outside the shop after the tills). As the mum pushed her trolly past the checkouts in order to access the compost outside the shop, Sue used a rather curt tone of voice and choice of words to alert her that she needed to show her receipt for the goods in her trolly and that she’d have to leave her trolly in the store before going outside. The poor customer had a baby in the trolly, hence not making this particular easy. Another customer offered to get the compost for the young mum. As I approached Sue’s till to pay for my goods, she tried to engage with me in a disrespectful conversation about the Customer with the baby, in order, I believe, to belittle the customer and gain my backing. I thought Sue had been a little heavy handed with her tone of voice, so let Sue know that I thought she’d come across as quite aggressive and that perhaps the young mum had other things on her mind. Sue could have offered to help the customer, but instead, another kind customer went outside to get the compsot. Sue chose to continue to argue her case to me. I found her manner very unprofessional.

Great service. Ordered yesterday and collected today. Highly recommend click and collect at Homebase.

This was a click & collect order that was ready in good time and the goods were as I expected. But … why can you not produce a receipt in-store ??? It’s very frustrating not having a receipt to produce to my customers and accountant ☹️

Ordered online Keter corner garden tool storage unit for click and collect. Jack from store phoned stating none in store other than the shop display one, which I could buy at half price what I originally paid. Upon going to store to collect. I was refunded and re charged half price. Great service 👏

Found someone straight away who redirected me to the tills ( No obvious signs where to click and collect).

The man serving was quick to find my order which was kept close by not in the back of the warehouse. I was offered help carrying my order to the car. In an out in just over 10 minutes!

The girl on the counter who served us should not be working on a check out , I have never seen anyone so miserable she did not say one word not please , thankyou anything , then we said thankyou to her and she just ignored us , I think you need to do some staff training !!

Found the website easy to use and placed an order for Click & Collect. An email arrived telling me when this was ready to collect so I went to store and picked it up. Very easy & successful.

Really helpful member of staff. Plus carry out service.
